Nice new shopping experience. Not been here in over 10 years and it was a great surprise.

Really nice place to go. New shopping centre. I haven't experienced all of it just yet but passing through was pretty amazing.

Let's be honest, they got who they could get, hence the odd assortment of shops. A boots and a supdrug in such a small development seems strange. Also who builds a shopping development in Rochdale and doesn't put a roof on it? That can hardly have been the problem with the last two attempts. "They would have survived, if we hadn't put a roof on them."

Went into Marks and Spencers cafe and the lady was really rude as bought a chicken wrap , when got it, it had cheese on in which friend don't eat, so whilst still at till I said to lady she doesn't eat cheese, she said its advertised with cheese, I told her to look behind on a big advertisement of it and it don't say cheese and could we change it to sausage barm she just stood there till I said all 3 meals will go back and we will get refund for all, she then grabbed plate and pushed sausage barm at us. Really rude and it was awful. This review just for Marks and spencers as rest of the places we visited were lovely.

In all honesty, this retail park is badly designed in terms of no roof. It is a vast wall cutting off the rest of the town. The town already had two shopping centres, one of which is now closed, the other one is just about surviving, the outdoor market exists but is terminal. This retailpark basically stole stores from the other shopping centre and the main street in the town centre. Badly planned and executed, old design. Another terrible job done by RDA "Rochdale Development Agency" They have overpaid on all their acquisitions and wasted millions on Rochdale Regeneration. They had and have the vision of a blinkered non running racehorse 🌟 BAD JOB ALL AROUND

I love that Rochdale has finally a shopping centre to look forward to. All we need now is a Primark (lol) .. but the atmosphere is very busy on weekends, like it should be and some fantastic spots to eat. Love it

Lovely, fresh, bright. Some of the stores may not offer what you want but more likely can find it on their website

Only a passing visit. Stopped for a coffee and a bite to eat. Good range of mainstream retail shops. Easy access to public transport links (bus station and tram stops)

The usual parade of shops on offer here, including h and m, nandos, greegs etc, you will also find the cinema in here but not the usual Odeon or Cineworld chain, this being reel cinema with there tagline "at the heart of the community". So you will find all the big posh shops and normal eateries in here for you eating and shopping needs.

Nice place to shop all the main stores in one lace just 2 mins from bus station very easy to navigate through would highly recommend this centre

Great shops.. but only a handful of them! Not worth a day out (your better visiting Bury shopping centre nearby) ..a big fuss was made about the building of the shopping centre but its so depleted of shops ...the whole project looks sadly unfinished

Nice place but, a little small and not a great deal of shops.

Not very helpful staff, bought a jacket and the assistant screwed up and threw it in a bag. I was absolutely shocked, 😣

Lots of decent shops. Still clean and tidy, I haven't noticed any gangs of kids, which is a pleasant surprise. Rochdale still needs a lot of money throwing at the town centre.

Nice car park straight into marks and spencers. No sighs that I could find with how much it was to park. You pay on way out. I did a few hours on a Monday and was 2quid. So that was good.

Great for a quick nip in to get some essentials. Not as good if your looking for something a little more niche as limited shops.

Good shops but not enough of them

Rochdale Riverside Retail & Leisure is a diverse retail and leisure complex offering a range of shops, restaurants, and recreational attractions. The modern architecture and well-maintained facilities contribute to a pleasant shopping and entertainment experience. The location is easily accessible, making it convenient for visitors. However, individual experiences may vary based on personal preferences and expectations. Overall, it's a notable addition to Rochdale's amenities.

Seems to be a nice shopping centre. I only popped in to visit Marks and Spencer which was very poor and Boots which was fine. I didn't spend a lot of time there so probably can't give a balanced view

It's nice and modern, but makes no sense, they've build a new area when the old high Street has been abandoned. Everything is now too spread out in Rochdale, especially for older people.

Very nice for meals and shopping, still opening stores ad I speak,

Finally a nice looking retail area for Rochdale pretty similar to how Bury is. Shame its not fully incorporating the old shopping areas.

  • 4/5 Jo K. 2 years ago on Google
Modern, bright and airy. A real boost for Rochdale town centre. Just needs the empty shop spaces filling now - a bookshop (possibly the WHSmith from the old shopping centre?) would be a good start.

Quite pleasant would be better if more rubbish bins then people would use them instead of throwing litter all over or if they would take it home with them. It a lovely area apart from that

Small new mall area it's great as everyone is close by has some of my favourite shops such as h&m, boots, superdrug, new look and a few places to stop and eat for coffee or donuts

  • 4/5 Colin M. 1 year ago on Google
It's quite nice really. Needs to expand to rejuvenate the rest of the centre that looks incredibly tired in comparison.

Good retail shops that were long overdue but nice shopping experience.

  • 5/5 Anne G. 1 year ago on Google
Nice shopping entre all the big names. Good M&S. Easy to walk round not crowded and next to tram stop.

  • 5/5 Darryl G. 1 year ago on Google
Great new place. Couple of empty units to fill at the moment (just starting out) but you can spend upto an hour here at least.

  • 5/5 Paul L. 1 year ago on Google
This has not been built long and, although there aren't too many shops, it is very organized and makes up for the mess that is the rest of the shopping outlets on Yorkshire Street.

  • 1/5 Matthew L. 1 year ago on Google
The office is a disgrace. Staff are to work in silence. And complain about bacon being cooked in the ground floor cafe. Well...can I complain about the stench of cheap fried chicken and curry and the decomposing tip hovering around the town permanently? No I wouldn't. I was a child victim of your monster politician and Mayor Cyril as a child. All I want is respect. I work for you. I hate discrimination. But I love democracy. And that's what you came here for. Let's mix it up and all be British. We don't want paedos, corrupt MPs or Police In our town. You have children. Protect them. And I will protect the rest of the town alone. Cos I'm invincible.

  • 5/5 katie h. 1 year ago on Google
Nice addition to the town centre wish they had a primark though

  • 5/5 Zoe S. 2 years ago on Google
Although it's a relatively small complex there is so much packed into it. You have H&M, River Island, M&S, Boots, cafe plus a whole load more. When you're done shopping you can grab some downtime and nip into the cinema for your favourite movie. A great Saturday outing.

😠 What was once a busy bustling prosperous town centre has become an empty shell which has not kept up with other towns in Greater Manchester. Nothing of substance left in the main Rochdale exchange. Getting rid of the indoor market was the worst decision any council has ever made. A real self inflict...
