Some good alternative shops here along with some scruffy looking bargain shops. They sometimes have entertainment in the centre square like making it into a beach for the kids. Today they had deck chairs out and a big screen tv showing Wimbledon. There is a very large B and M store here which is a place I usual visit when I venture over to Birmingham. There's a lovely chippy on the street just below the square too.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 A VERY CROWDED AREA ♡ particularly around 4pm when the school children are supposed to be on there way 🏡 home after school but instead POPULATE this environment CHATTING with their FRIENDS 😀 🚍 BUS TERMINALS are located on the roads adjacent.. therefore the COMBINATION of CROWDS of school children, commuters, police, beggars, homeless individuals, security personnel, shoppers, delivery riders on 🏍 motorcycles or 🚲 bicycles at times CAUSES FRICTION ● 🚔 POLICE have increased VIGILANCE in this entire area because it's has been ADVERSELY affected by the CONSTRUCTION work in CONSTANT progress.. The rail & road WORKERS are effecting IMPROVEMENT on Corporation Street, Upper & Lower Bull Street.. They are Upgrading, EXTENDING & Installating LARGE STEEL RAILS into the newly RESTORED STREET 🚊and the TRAM SYSTEMS throughout the Birmingham City Centre 🚎

Can't be easy running a business here especially with the tram works here and the pending redevelopment. However there are a good mix of businesses, even with vacant units. It's nice that there are some independent sites as Birmingham does lack these especially in the city centre

Wandering around the city centre for the first time in many years, I came across the shopping centre, completely by chance. What a depressing, shabby and frankly, ugly complex this is. Mishmash of 1960s concrete monstrosities combined with attempts presumably from the nineteen nineties to improve the area. Couldn’t wait to leave.

Situated in city centre region and it has various shops such as apparels, coffee shop, B&M store, an open area with benches & easy chair to relax, etc. Surrounding this place you have other retail stores, eateries (Burger King, KFC, Arabian Wraps, etc). About 700 meters you will find a famous bull ring market. And also access to broad street, grand central etc. Various bus stops to catch buses to different parts of Birmingham. Worth roaming around.

A really beautiful and appealing location. Few stores to go shopping, restaurants and seating area for coffee. Due to the present security, a high level of security is conveyed.

Got so lovely bargains at Sims Shoe Store! It's a fantastic shop, good styles, and friendly helpful staff. Great seasoned styles, so I'll be going back to stock up! Thank God it's still there. It seems so hard to find a good footwear shop now!🤔?😗??😒!

Great little shops for all the odd stuff you want to buy. Many have closed possibly due to the cost of living crisis or pandemic, which was sad to see, still a calm location

Wetherspoons. Dirty tables not regularly cleaned after previous diners, after waiting ages for my preferred table. The lemon and herb chicken was undercooked, with a slimy skin, and certainly not worth the £12 something price. The steak and chips were'nt hot, and the fat was tough and crispy. I used to enjoy the breakfasts here and their previous reasonable prices. I don't think I'll bother again!

Beautiful food and service, lovely friendly staff. I've been to the Ivy quite a few times, and I'm never disappointed with my choice of food.

Diversions up due to the eternal roadworks and pointless tram rail lines that are everywhere. Bit of a forgotten area of town due to the bright shiny attractions of the Bull Ring & The Mailbox

A 5 star definitely! Pablo's is a destination point tourists should stop at. Met Pablo himself and was really helpful with getting us coins, detergent and conditiiner. The hall of fame round the store with pictures of famous international stars who had visited the store kept us entertained.

  • 4/5 Mark L. 2 years ago on Google
Only went for a pint at the Peaky Blinders Bar. Good fun. Loads of PB memorabilia on the walls etc. Not the most salubrious part of the city centre but very welcoming.

A few shops that abit different plus b&m as well as some where to grab food. I liked the green area in the middle. Was nice to be able to take a break and have a drink and eat in the seating area away from the busy town.

  • 4/5 James A S. 2 years ago on Google
More bins would be great, but shelter from the elements and warm food are always appreciated. The park area and seating are still locked from public use

  • 3/5 Noel M. 1 year ago on Google
Handy shopping area surrounded with shops and cafes. Large spacious area in center designed for shoppers to rest and eat. Close to High St and access to Bullring. Only a matter of metres to a whole range of bus stops including services as far as Tamworth.
