Woking has come a long way. Great cafes, shopping and disabled access. I didn't recognise the centre all set up for Wimbledon. A great family day out

We visited during the Christmas period to go I've skating and see the pantomime, or first time in Woking city centre. Parking in the centre was simple enough, we parked in the shipping centres car park. The centre was in the middle of everything, nice range of shops however it was a little bit of a maze to find the exits of the car park and the centre as well as finding bathrooms.Nicely decorated for Christmas. Really clean and spacious, even though it was pretty full, it did not feel as if people were billing into us!!

It is a nice place to go shopping and there is an interesting area in the centre with huge chairs where people can just relax. Many of the secutiy guards are extremely rude and unfriendly. They often seem to be very hostile.

I try to stay in woking if I have anything going on in a 50 mile circle.Loads of shops nicely laid out with very easy access and never over crowded when I've been there.quite a few odd statues floating around the town lol, loads of shop choices and great if you stay in woking premier inn as its a short walk into the town by road or even better along the cannel.Be back again oct with kids for legoland and around town no doubt. If you not been it's worth a visit ,very close access to Windsor and around.

The place is cool to roam around. One of the favourite spots for window shopping for my wife ☺️. I love the local market and it's walk way. Parking is shared with The Peacocks - another shopping mall with cinema screens just next to Woking centre. Got really cute and stunning views and places to enjoy some quick bites if it is a sunny day. Update on 13/07/22 : Added two quick pics 😉 lovely weather . Amazing warm vibes with all these chairs 😍

A great shopping centre with lots of variety. I have always enjoyed visiting. There are plenty of outlets for food as well if you are spending an extended period of time here.

Victoria Place is a great place to shop, eat, and relax. It has a wide variety of stores, including high-street favorites and independent boutiques. There are also plenty of places to eat, from casual cafes to fine dining restaurants. And if you need a break from shopping, you can relax in the cinema or take a stroll through the Market Walk.

After being closed for 3 years, I have to say it was a little disappointing, there is so much wasted space that could be used with seating areas and possibly nice stalls. Outside the centre, near the new bus stops, it was beautiful and it could benefit some seating area there to enjoy the view, enjoy lunch bought from M&S or from any of the cafe, outside in the sun when the weather picks up in the spring/summer.

Looks amazing from the outside, inside is really underwhelming. Food hall small but nice but we couldn't see any options for a bigger shop as you seem to have to cart your bags to your car. Parking £3.00 for 1 hr 50 mins on a Sunday - should be free, Woking was empty!

Worst place for shopping if you have mobility problems. Parking is expensive. There are no lifts working when parked at the Blue parking site. There are hardly any decent shops open. I hope it manages to attract some well known retailers after the departure of Debenhams.

The new areas of Victoria Place are quite impressive, a few new shops such as gails, superbowl, sketchers. The centre itself still has a fair few shops in and plenty of food places on the ground floor, the theatre is still a highlight and that I would highly recommend. Loads of parking and easy to get into the shops, very accessible as a centre and town. Worth a visit if your in the area.

I recently visited shopping centre woking and it exceeded my expectations. The diverse range of stores offered something for everyone, from high-end fashion to budget-friendly finds. The layout was well-designed, making navigation easy and enjoyable. The discounts and deals were impressive, providing great value for money. The staff were friendly and helpful, enhancing the overall shopping experience. Whether you're a fashion enthusiast or looking for household essentials,Victoria place is a must-visit destination.

Variety of stores indoors and out. Restaurants and coffee shops, and market stalls with fresh foods. On the weekend there were vendors grilling sausages and one selling fresh donuts and hot chocolate. Both were very tasty. Holiday decorations were up and very festive. Ice skating rink set up at the far side of the square and enclosed. Nice place for visitors to do a bit of shopping. Seemed to be a popular place for local shopping as well.

Parking is easy and has lots of space. Good store within one building. There is room for improvement, like better signage to get to another store or Mall as I was very confused about getting to the food court. Map is confusing.

Nice and convenient mall, with plenty of stores. Parking is relatively easy, but not cheap, but if you are only picking up or dropping someone, there's a convenience bay where you can wait for up to 15 minutes for free. If you want to park, enter one of the colored areas (red, blue and yellow). Entering is simple as the car license plate is automatically recognised. Parking payment is made on one of the several machines available around the shopping, you just have to inform your licence plate.

Came here to see Blood Brothers. Never been to this theatre before and thought it was a great venue. Seats were really comfy and had plenty of legroom. I am a big theatre goer and this was up there for comfort

Reasonable shopping centre which serves all your needs from high street retailers, food kiosk, restaurants, bars, games arcade, gym and cafes. Parking could be priced better which will draw more shoppers and also need more good outlets !

Great shopping centre here in working. But they need better maps to get around. It was our first time but couldn't find all the shops because it's so big. Great food hall down the bottom. Great transport links with trains and bises 2 mins away. Also take away places outside close by and toilets inside. Definitely will be back.

Plenty of different shops within a short walking distance. Good food options as well. Nice clean walkways. And car parking close by.

  • 5/5 Ann M. 4 months ago on Google
Plenty of well marked parking in the multi storeys and nice wide lanes going up the ramps. The west car park is a spiral so be aware if you get dizzy easily. Good range of shops and probably one of the last remaining Auntie Anne's pretzels. HMV has a good range of anime things and other bits that are out of stock online. Beautifully decorated come Christmas time.

  • 3/5 Simon B. 7 months ago on Google
Perhaps 3-stars is a little harsh as the shopping centre is clean and tidy, and they are trying to keep things relevant. Unfortunately, the shops themselves aren't up to much and as there isn't a great choice even if you include Victoria Place its not that good an experience. The addition of the new shopping area has helped a little.

I hadn't been here for a few years and was with two relatives, one in a wheel chair and another with a walking stick. Was completely confused with the lift signage not matching the buttons in the lift, felt like gooseberries having to go up and down to find the correct floor. Then having looked on the map for a coffee shop the lack signage, directions or any coloured lines to assist us getting there do not exist. So of course we left. Get it sorted please, so frustrating! Only 2 stars as no coffee shop in central area and of course lack of guidance.

A very modern & clean shopping center. Lots of parking available. ANPR system to enter/exit. The car parks are color coded & are located for best access to stores/cinema/theatres etc . We parked in blue, which is close to the theatre.

This venue has beautiful fishing lakes but access is very restricted.I am disabled due to mobility problems and long covid.most lakes are a good walk. The lakes are stagard to the bottom of the valley. The owners should offer some kind of shuttle for people of different mobility.out of the 7 days booked I only managed ,2 days fishing. The venue I believe miss informed our party of the access of the lakes. Very disappointed with negative response with surgestions.i would not book again unless changes were introduced.

My wife and I stop in Woking in our way back from London, and we decided to stop by this cosy and lovely restaurant, where I end up eating a dish the main owners of the restaurant prepared for themselves hahaha, it was amazing 👏 and very tasty 😋. We would definitely come back as long as they could prepare for me the same food 😊😊. It was amazing having a chat with the owners of the place :) Thank you for the lovely lunch and chat guys 😊 From us, Kasia and Alex 😊

Massive shopping mall with plenty of shops and restaurants. There is even a market section their where you can purchase a wide range of vegetables and food from different cultures.

Parking was excellent, ticketless using Anpr. Although forgot my number plate when coming to pay 😂. Range of shops looks good although didn’t have time to fully explore. Will be coming back when it’s warmer for a good look round. Will update review then.

Nice shopping centre with plenty of the high street usuals. Places to eat and have a snack too. The lifts were being worked on, but there are plenty of escalators to get you between levels. You also have access on the upper floor to the new Victoria Theatre. Car park is not quite as good, although there are plenty of spaces, every third Parking space has a concrete pillar, which makes parking tight especially if you have a big car. It is almost impossible to open your door. One of the ticket machines was not accepting contactless payments, so I had to find a cash point. Found one in the shopping centre outside Santander. The smallest amount I could withdraw was £20 and the ticket machine doesn’t yet accept the new £20 notes!!

Lifts not working again causing havoc with a baby and pushchair!! No signs up so we parked on level 3 and didn't know there were no working lifts. Absolute pain. The centre itself is everything you need under one roof and always lovely and clean.

We arrived just after it was closed a see were attending the theatre, but from the vantage point of the balcony from the entrance from the car park, it had wide spacious walkways, clear visible signs, the shops looked well ordered and free from rubbish, I would certainly come back during shopping hours to take a further look

Limited shops and overly zealous and ignorant individuals who pretend to be the long arm of the law. However they are glorified litter police. Two Asian lads, who clearly haven't achieved their GCSEs, walking around with gold teeth in the mouth. Running behind innocent members of the public to ticket and make their commissions. Complete shambles of a council policy. Needs to be revised or new staff need to be hired.

Very quiet I town. I went to Santander. Staff lovely and friendly . H&M, Next, Wilkinsons ,Poundland. All very quiet. Nothing exciting really. Lots of sales. Mostly things you wouldn't want anyway.

Peacocks shopping centre is lovely, lots of stores and cafes, still lots of work in progress but would happily visit again. Only downside is peacocks food area on ground concourse is very noisy, chairs scraping on ground and very echoing no chance of a quite meal, but lots if choice.

After the massive revamp it felt new and exciting like an American mall. All the previous areas are spaciously inter- connected. The new bowling alley is nearing completion a very positive step to provide entertainment for the huge population.

  • 4/5 S B. 2 years ago on Google
It's a lovely new 21st century feel that Woking drastically needed as was at one stage very old and run down 1970s style. However I do feel Woking needs a few more higher level brand shops and independent cafes and independent boutiques.

  • 4/5 sowmya m. 1 year ago on Google
Tons of space to walk around, can't say it has a lot of international food or grocery choices, but the space is very good for mall walkers!! Love the shirt little farmers market on Wolsey walk... and the square is quite quirky!! My favorite part if the Woking Library+ and the lifelike statues (my kids love having conversations with them, mostly asking wju they're so angry all😀😀). Overall, diverse shopping (from furniture, hardware, food, groceries, clothing and food court), lively environment- children friendly and convenient for everyone - with ramps, escalators and lifts as well.

  • 4/5 Andrew H. 1 year ago on Google
HUGE! Incredible high ceilings, almost like being outside inside! It’s so cavernous that I missed a huge cascading waterfall. Loads of good shops, looks like more to come. It links with other “plazas” as also the old high street which still has many shops. The pedestrianisation of the Town Centre seems for the better as less traffic & pollution IMO.
