Very clean and calmer than the surroundings, although it can feel a bit sterile and there isn’t a huge variety of shops.

Great shopping centre. One of the best in the South West. Lots of different shops, good range of clothing shops. Love all saints so good for me. Fair few food shops as well. Would recommend this as a place to shop.

Quick scoot around Exeter, always some interesting sites but difficult to park if you have a car around 1.9m tall. Managed to find somewhere in Prncesshay hence the review. Beautiful day. Totally loved the boarding around the Ivy, wish all mundane things were made this beautiful. Lots of work going on around the Green, but plenty of people out. Tried to spend some money but want inspired.

It looks good (and it's mainly undercover) but most of the shops are big brands, so have your wallet handy. A lot of places have closed here so it's a bit forlorn without the likes of Debenhams which occupied the largest unit over several floors .. hopefully the shops won't be empty for too long though .. worth a visit if you're into places such as Levi, Joules, Crew, Superdry, Fat Face, All Saints etc

Princesshay shopping , easy to navigate round , fair few empty boarded shops but the bigger stores M&S and Next we're good and well stocked. 👍 Pleasant afternoon on first visit to Exeter. Cathedral small but nice construction , walk to the Quay

Nice shopping centre, affected by store closures like everywhere Elsa. Still has a nice mix of shops though and places to eat.

Nice place to shop in the summer, but because it's an open air mall, it's freakin cold in the winter. A good selection of clothing stores, comic con stuff, iphones and eateries to go crazy on - if they had gas heaters during winter, it would be great to hang out here

A great open air shopping district in central Exeter. All the big high street brands are here plus some boutique stores. Lots of places to sit and have a drink or a bite to eat and watch the world - and people - go by.

Nearest city from Barnstaple! Quite busy during the holidays but always a worth visiting especially it’s near a quay where you can have a nice walk. Also, they got bigger shops and lots of restaurant to dine in.🤩

Understandably, looking rather gloomy right now, with Covid 19 restrictions, one way pedestrian routes and barriers Most shops are making the most of it and have adapted to the necessary constraints, and the place is as reasonably lively as one might expect. Not many places to eat or drink, yet, and even less opportunity to take a 'nature break'. Well done to the local businesses for continuing to fly the flag!

At risk of sounding like a doomsayer I would say AVOID if you are being health careful. Very Busy and virtually no face masks in evidence despite the crowds. Apparently the Exeter shopping public is under the impression you can only catch C19 indoors... as I could count on one hand the number of people wearing a mask outside in densely packed street. Sadly no attempt by most people to properly distance or wait for others to pass either and a general attitude of 'hey back to normal'. It feels like there is a silent Tick tock tick tock....

Plenty of shopping choice, queues not too bad (Nandos virtual queue was the exception!) Parking however as always was horrendous but its city center parking. Shopping mall however was very clean and social distancing good.

A place where you finally get to see people (students, professionals, locals, foreigners) in an otherwise uncrowded city. You will get just about every brand in the world and so many amazing options of cafes here with good connectivity to other parts of the city via buses.

Walked into Pandora shop and was shouted at by a very rude abrupt shop assistant telling me to wait outside. I looked around and could see no notices of a restriction on numbers in the shop. I went and spent my money elsewhere!

Exactly what you expect from an outdoor shopping centre. Avoid at Christmastime and on Saturdays if you don't like big crowds. Avoid at all costs if you can't stand slow walkers and space-hoggers. There are some benches in the sheltered portion, however, are very welcome.

Exeter's Princesshay Shopping Centre is a pedestrian area and has a number of well known branded shops, such as the Apple store. You will also find street entertainers and musicians performing in the summer months for shoppers and holiday makers.

So much better than it was years ago. Suffering a bit from shop closures but clean and a fun area to stroll around and shop, grab a coffee or just window shop.

Beach bar was hilarious fun - convinced a mate that I had gone abroad. I like how this area changes every few months with food stalls and bars, etc.

Really good range of shops including an Apple Store. Car park is large if a little tight. Best thing is the electric car charging on the top floor, trouble is this is often not working or blocked by people who are already fully charged.

One of my favourite places to shop, particularly during Christmas. Great range of shops in different price ranges, and everywhere is clean and well maintained. Easy for wheelchair users as shops have level access and are spacious inside. Also has a changing places disabled toilet with bench and ceiling hoist, located centrally and free to use.

Nice little shopping centre but can be pricey as its big brand shops and the city could do with more toilets when you have young kids I feel you gotta walk ages to get to one

  • 4/5 Jaki 1 year ago on Google
Princesshay is a good shopping area. It has lost a couple of stores like other areas but hopefully when the economy picks up there'll be stores replacing the closed ones.

Good selection of shops, exactly what you'd expect of a shopping centre. Not as big as what you'd find in bigger cities but does the job.

Had a Paw Patrol fluffy toy Chase made for my Granddaughter, Amelia. It's such fun for Amelia watching the young lady stuff the toy. Then, before the young lady stitches the toy, she asked Amelia to pick a heart, make a wish, and promise to look after Chase from Paw Patrol ,then pop the heart inside the toy, and the young lady finishes stitching the toy. Amazing experience for young children, the most friendly staff too Regards Keith Riley.

Very clean and tidy with large stores and a variety of places to eat. Parking was difficult to locate if you were unfamiliar with the area and it was expensive although this seems to be the way these days.

Went early on a Saturday morning to buy a suit, but ended up spending more time browsing around an interesting and varied collection of shops and street stalls. Was particularly struck by an effort being made for urban bees with pollinating flowers along the wall of Roman Walk, so stopped at Coffee #1 for a beverage, to enjoy it.

Nice, modern shopping centre, variety of shops, mainly high street brands. Lovely to see old and modern buildings blended together. Several places to eat and not far from cathedral. We parked out of town and walked in

  • 3/5 Lord P. 4 months ago on Google
The first thing I would say here is, you need a city guide to jump in the car and show you the way to get into the car-park... It took us nearly 20 minutes to find the right route, which avoided bus gates and no left or right turn roads. It was a nightmare to navigate to the car-park and when we got there, we found a very limited number of disabled parking spaces, all of which were taken, so we "squeezed" our way up to the third floor - it is very very tight in there... we found the exit and made our escape and parked just outside in a disabled space just made available. So if you enjoy an adventure go try your luck at parking here. Oh the shops are your run of the mill high street designer ones.. £119 for a coat in Superdry or £3,000 for a new watch!!!
