Open more nice affordable shops and keep the Grafton open. Don't waste the space by turning it anything else. We need another Debenhams kind of shop. If you had more interesting shops there would be more customers. But not ridiculous pricey shops.

I came a bit early so most of the shops where still closed but seemed like a nice place with a couple of cafes and places to eat. Liked the area with small streets and a nice atmosphere.

It's literally dying, the only reason I visit it is for Vue Cinema and the amazing food trucks besides it In the 8 years I have been in Cambridge; it's only been going down hill - there is so much space that can be used for community events/etc but the owners would prefer running this to the ground rather than thinking out of the box to get it back up and running. Every major city has a food market, which has restaurants around the border while stage/entertainment in the middle and this place can easily be used for the same function

Not many shops, most are closed down, pretty cold at one end. Not sure if this shopping precinct can survive the lack of business and/or the amount of shops that can afford to be there which is extremely unfortunate.

This is shopping mall but with very less brands and the vibes is also okay. It has h&m home, decathlon, some beauty salon, 2-3 cafés and restaurant. Restaurant vibes was good. I dont often go there unless i have work around this mall. Average place

Amazing place. I was in search of decathlon and it was inside The Grafton. Friendly people around to help. Lovely spot.

A nice shopping centre on East Road close to the centre of Cambridge. Stored range from Next, Boots, H&M to sports and outdoors shops. There is a car park at the centre. From Grafton centre you can walk around 10 mins to the main Cambridge city centre.

Very disappointed with the lack of shops in the Grafton Centre. Plenty of space for wheelchairs to move around the centre but not in some of the smaller shops where we had to battle clothes rails just to get in. Because we also went into the city centre to find the shops we were looking for, our parking cost a small fortune.

I recently visited the Grafton Centre and was underwhelmed by my experience. While the mall has a decent selection of stores, it always seems to be overshadowed by the Grand Arcade. The Grafton Centre needs to do something to keep up and attract more customers. The mall itself was clean and well-maintained, but it just didn't have the same buzz and energy as the Grand Arcade. Overall, I would say the Grafton Centre is an average shopping destination that could benefit from some improvements to keep up with its competition.

Great shopping experience, but cost me £25 for 6 hours parking.... I nearly choked! Clearly visitors from further afield aren't supposed to bring a car... I'll never park in the Grafton centre again.

The Grafton doesn't currently have very much to offer, most of the shops are duplicates of what you can find on the other side of the city and the ones that are duplicates aren't really that great. The only saving grace for the grafton is the cinema and gym which are always great additions to have in the area. They are planning to upgrade and change the use of the space in the future which I hope will make it a much better space but for now I can't really give it more than 2 stars

A very sad shopping centre. The whole atmosphere of the place is sad and depressed. There is a large H&M store which is worth a visit as it’s better than the one in the middle of town but the rest of stores aren’t worth a visit. Restaurants feel the same, they just kind of exist but feel neglected and sad. It’s says a lot when the highlight is the parking of which there is lots.

Has lots of great shops. Calendar club! Great selection. Toilets next to it. Very clean! Cambridge is a great place to shop for clothes or computer games. Books etc going for coffee.

Nice, modern place, clean toilets, no noticeable antisocial behaviour from shoppers that go there but my first impression was very disappointing. I travelled all the way from Norwich to visit the grafton but I was left very unimpressed by the lack of shops. The place has potential but it is all left in the hands of fate.

Light, spacious area. Its a pity lots of the shops have now disappeared. But still have a good selection of eateries, clothes, pharmacy, jewellers, sports.

Empty space with most of the shops closed now,I understand there will be a refurbishment which is long overdue, however hoping for more interesting shops than there have been in recent years, we don't need mobile phone shops or coffee shops, keep the Italian deli, the only reason for my visit recently.

It's really quite a nice shopping centre, it just needs more and a bigger range of stores and things to do. Most of the shops are clothing stores so if that's what you're looking for then the Grafton will do fine. There's a few restaurants and I really like the idea of the tinier "food truck" like restaurants, but it just misses a greater variety of shops/things to do. If you're looking for something to do, there is a cinema, but you're better off going further south to the Cambridge leisure area as there is also a cinema there, plus an arcade, bowling and karaoke.

Great place, I'm amazed it's still running after 30 something years, or however old since it was built. I started going here last year, when I was getting more work in Cambridge. The car parking price is reasonable and the Vue cinema is everything, refreshment shops are plentiful, especially if I'm running late to a movie or back to Trinity college for my second shift of the day.

Had not been to the centre for about 12 years...how it has changed. So many of the units were empty and others were closing down. If it is happening in Cambridge, even with all its visitors and transport links, God alone knows how it must be in other city and town centres outside London. A real worry.

The Grafton is a shopping center located in the heart of Cambridge, UK. It's a popular destination for both locals and tourists, with a wide range of shops, restaurants, and entertainment options. The shopping center has over 60 stores, including popular fashion brands, technology retailers, and department stores. It also has a food court, where visitors can enjoy a variety of cuisines from around the world. The Grafton's stores are well-organized, and the staff members are friendly and helpful, making for a great shopping experience. In addition to shopping, the Grafton has a cinema, which shows the latest blockbuster movies. It also has a bowling alley and an arcade, which are great for family fun. The Grafton's entertainment options make it a great place to spend an afternoon or evening. The shopping center is located in a convenient location, making it easy to get to by public transport or car. It's also close to other popular tourist attractions, such as the historic Cambridge city center and the River Cam. Overall, the Grafton is a great shopping and entertainment destination in Cambridge. Its wide range of stores, entertainment options, and convenient location make it a popular choice for visitors to the city. Whether you're looking for a new outfit, a bite to eat, or some family fun, the Grafton has something for everyone.

The centre's looking and feeling a bit sad these days, every year becoming less and less of a destination. The best area is outside which still has a lot of shops and cafés to the front and side. The new science centre will be a welcome change giving the area a bit more purpose. Some lovely side streets and lanes to explore in the surrounding area, so still worth a visit.

The shopping centre is conveniently located near Burleigh Street and has a nice selection of shops but always gives a feeling of a bit dated. The multi-storey car park is attached to the shopping centre.

We just used the overnight night car park as free from 6pm to 8am. It looks well maintained & clean with it being well lit so it gave me confidence. Very handy for shopping. Very handy as less than 10 minutes away from Premier Inn & Travel lodge. Also a retail park a few minutes away to give another 4 hours parking.

A shopping mall next to Primark and Vue. Shops and cafe around. Convenient location , easy parking or on foot. Enjoy your day here

Good shopping centre, but seriously lacking of shops only a few left like h+m,river island and next. Recently refurbished but the amount of units empty is depressing.

I like the Grafton, the cinema is comfortable, the shops that are left I like and are reasonably priced. Looking back to how the Grafton used to be to now, it's a shame. The Grafton Centre maybe disappearing and replaced with office/ work space, although a small selection of cafes may open too. Will see what the final plans are.

Shadow of its former self. Many empty shop units with little sign of new business taking their place. Some nice touches with the food trucks outside the cinema but all in all a disappointing experience. Seems to be a victim of Cambridges drive to keep anyone but tourists out of the city.

Nice shopping centre. It's a shame quite a few shops are empty but there's still alot here and it's very clean and the staff dotted around are very helpful and knowledgeable. I asked if there was a levis store and was told no but which store did sell levis and even which side of the shop it was on. Great experience!

Its been over 25 year's since the last time I was here and I must say it has gone down in looks, it has a rough feel about it and like most places Charity shops everywhere in which you can get items cheaper of Amazon and new. Phone shops, food shops, Coffee shops & last Hairdresser. You can get all this in most cities or towns. I personally liked it 25+ years ago than now it's lost it's sparkle.

Place looks modern and clean. All shops close early during the week, don't really see the point. One automatic door was broken yesterday and would not open leaving us stuck in the parking, not great. Good variety of shops.

This is one of the best malls I've ever visited. It is so peaceful and comfortable to be in compared to most malls that are quite rowdy. I watched the bad guys in Vue cinemas and went back to my hotel after that.

It is sad that this is a shell of what it once was. I don't think it has been helped by the direction of our economy and the rumours/news of its long term future. Still on the positive side, it is an area I feel safe when I need to use the facility

Nice range of shops, clean areas, bright and tasteful, but could have done with better parking. Closest I could find was nearly £30 for 8 hours. That is almost a days wage!

We had a lovely time at the Vue Cinema 🎥 in the Grafton Centre Cambridge, the reclining chairs were perfect and it was lovely and clean . The staff were really friendly and helpful, they made sure we had a great time.

Great center, but to many empty shops and waisted space. Need to have more exciting shops.

Great place. Go to vue cinema and parking is nice as it's straight through the doors and your there at cinema or restaurants .

Spacious and so good to have lovely little cafe's and restaurants to choose from. You can shop, take a break and eat out too.

Sadly has become a ghost shopping centre, with all the major shops having closed. Good if you like Primark, and H&M home is worth a visit, otherwise only worth going for the cinema and cafe/junk food or for cheaper parking and a walk over to Cambridge main shopping centre.

The shops are good, some are closed, the car park is very expensive check before you go, maybe park nearby "sturton st". The restaurants are OK, the cinema is very cold and expensive but the sits are great. The access is easy. It's not very big.

I went here for the first time last week and was pleasantly surprised at the great range of shops. There's plenty of bicycle parking which given the amount of bikes in this small city was very nice to see. Cycling is prohibited within the roads leading to the centre, this for me and I'm sure many others is a good thing. Saying this a lot of the cycle parking is within the prohibited zone but walking the bike to find a free spot is no real issue so no marks off for that. The centre seems well laid out and everything is easily accessible. If you're looking for a particular shop the maps are easy to follow and you'll get there without any major issues. It does get busy but being a major shopping hub in a small city this is to be expected. Saying that, it doesn't feel claustrophobic as many similar places do. Overall I'd say it's a nice place to visit either for a pleasant meander round the shops or to pick up almost anything you want or need. As I said it has a very good variety of shops so you should be able to find pretty much anything you need here.

Looking a bit shabby and sorry for itself, like most shopping centres there are a lot of empty units. Has seen better days, it gets more empty the further you get into it especially with Debenhams gone and no other anchor retailer.

Very nice shopping mall. A lot of shops, used to be better few years ago, but we can't complain after COVID, it will take time to go back to his former glory. NHS vaccination centre is here and it's very efficient.

I played tennis there for free. it is a cool idea that a large area has been allocated so that people can spend their time usefully and interestingly. also many shops, great selection. thank you🇺🇦👍

  • 3/5 Ruth G. 1 year ago on Google
This centre is being sold and, despite a reasonable selection of shops still trading, is being used for Covid vaccinations and boosters. And that was the purpose of my visit. Lots of exits, but fairly poorly signposted as to which one to use! Large multistorey car park, but poor public availability.

I am visiting Grafton rare these days but same as 20 years ago is cozy place. In the evening on Thursday around 5pm shops were closed. Though Waiterose on the street still open.

  • 5/5 SP W. 1 year ago on Google
Shopping centre with shops to shop in. There are big names such as primark amongst some smaller brands and independents. Also holds the Vue cinema. Parking is straightforward at the attached carpark but watch the cost as it’s not cheap.

  • 4/5 Ronita B. 1 year ago on Google
I often park in the Grafton Centre. Easy parking and a great location for what I need. A couple of things though. The spaces are very small and there are great big pillars everywhere. This can be a good or a bad thing. Be careful you don't hit one (no I haven't) but once you are in, there is a little more space for you to open your door. There are lots of shops inside or places to eat. My only annoyance is YOURS Clothing has permanently closed! I loved that shop!

  • 3/5 Jane J. 1 year ago on Google
The Grafton is a relaxed and down to earth shopping centre with a more friendly feel about it than the main central one. But sadly the shops are closing down all the time now prior to its re-development as a science centre. I do hope that somewhere they find the space to retain some of its community feeling. For now, still worth a visit but don't expect full shopping experience.
