Quite a big looking place, but not much in way of shops in this shopping centre, but everything nice and clean and well layed out. Plenty of parking with Morrisons on one end of the shopping centre and Marks and Spencer’s on the other end. The food court only had 2 places open sadly.

The centre is small compared to many shopping centres nowadays but, in general, has a good range of stores with just a few vacant units. It's parking is free and always spaces available. There is tram station where you can get into the city quickly at a good price. There is also a train station opposite which is just a short walk.

Ah the Gyle. If it didn't have a Morrisons and a really great M&S (food shop there is immense) it would have died a death a long time ago. It's a pretty drab shopping centre with the usual mix of budget bookstores, tartan tat, mobile phone shops etc. Worth it totally for M&S and groceries though. Massive car park and a tram stop to town right there as well as many bus links.

One of the Good shopping centres in Edinburgh and Biggest in Gyle. You can Find good clothing stores here like NEXT and M&S, River Island and Many more. M&S has the biggest store here. If you are looking for a pharmacy that's also here located inside Boots. Gyle shopping centre has a very good public transport connectivity either by Bus Or by Tram. The number 2 and Number 21 bus from the city center has a high frequency to reach here. Overall a good place to be .

Very nice shopping centre - if you like that sort of thing. Big Marks & Spencer store and all the usual outlets. Tree lined car park is quite nice too, although I couldn't find my car for quite a while.

We needed a few bits and pieces whilst staying close to the airport and stopped in here. There's a Morrisons, Boots/Superdrug, The works, clothes, e-cigarette shop and a food court. Easily accessible by tram.

Lots of shops. Shame the disney shop disappeared. Plenty places to sit and rest. Plenty toilets. Food court up stairs. There's a subway, on the ground floor as well as marks and Spencer and morrisons who both have cafes.

First time I have been here in about 6 years. It certainly isn't what it used to be. Quite a few 'tat' shops and empty units now, which makes it look a bit nasty. Still got some nice higher end stores and a good choice of fast food eateries on the first floor.

Whilst shopping in Morrisons my daughter had the unfortunate need to use there toilets before she went in she was advised by 2 young ladies not too use them. Mainly due to the state off them .Absolutely disgusting. She also said there was a sign off sheet saying they had been cleaned. No way.

Passed through on the way to rugby. There is a decent mix of shops and food outlets on top floor. Large M&S and Morrison's with a number of jewelers and fashion shops, chemist's travel agents etc. With all shops on one level it is accessible for disabled people.

Old style shopping center, and I say that as a compliment. The shopping center is a lively place where people not just shop but apparently have fun. Has a nice, comfortable, happy feel.

  • 2/5 Gordon J. 1 year ago on Google
The shopping experience may be satisfactory however if you fancy a bit of lunch or even a refreshment during your shopping experience then you will be hard pushed to find anything suitable in the Gyle Centre. The large sign states food hall upstairs. That is exactly what it is a Hall. Very sparsely equipped to feed the masses of the Gyle shopper's

In for a Flu jab. Had a walk round and was more impressed than I remembered being the last time I visited 15 (ish) years ago. M&S is brilliant, especially the food hall, which is massive. Several other shops which were not bad too. I will visit again..

I have a love/hate relationship with the Gyle since I grew up when the mall was built. Some of the shops are great, it's always clean and the facilities are good. It just lacks variety particularly for clothes (menswear). It has the usual suspects like Next, River Island and M & S. But that is about it.

Great place to shop, not too busy, lots of parking, next to tram stop making it easy to get into the city centre.

  • 4/5 Zora 1 year ago on Google
The food court has a good offering if you're sick of the usual fried fast food! Potatoes, sushi, sandwiches, and soups. I wish that was more common.

  • 5/5 Natasha R. 7 months ago on Google
Lots of good shops here. I personally like Superdrug for cheap beauty and Boots for their more expensive cosmetics.Perfume shop is good and of course the massive M&S has everything from clothes to food and even a restaurant too. Also worth a mention is One Below if your looking for good value, they have a home section and beauty/cosmetics and whole aisle of cheap crisps/snacks and chocolate. Love my local shopping centre the only downside is the food court is basically non existent anymore just a chopstix and a cafe have survived. It was so much better when Burger King/Pizza hut and the baked potato place was there in the good old days!

I visited O2 to ask questions about my contract. Unfortunately they could not help and I was told to contact them on line. Anyway I had my booster jab for Covid and the NHS staff were very friendly and helpful.

Very nice place to buy products for your needs. Has Morrisons,M&S, travel agency,Shoe shops and etc.., Not that much crowded but the shops will be closed by 6pm except 1 or 2 so please check timings before leaving. Abundant parking space!

Still an okay centre but it's clear it's starting to struggle a bit due to Edinburgh Councils anti-car policy. Despite having a tram stop right outside (but who wants to slum it out of town standing for 40 minutes on a shoogly tram?), many of the units are boarded up or have filler pop-up shops. Sad to see, but at least it's not as dead as Princes Street (yet). Still a few decent shops and food court with a limited selection of outlets. Big M&S as well which is probably keeping the place afloat.

I don't shop at the Gyle Centre as much as I used to. The main reason I do so is that Marks and Spencer have expanded their food hall giving a wider choice of foodstuffs. Sadly quite a few shops have closed and there are a number of vacant spaces with no sign of anyone moving in. Costa Coffee could do with bigger premises or perhaps Cafe Nero would like to move into part or all of the old Gap shop? The only bus I can get direct to the Gyle Centre is the no 300 which now only runs hourly and not on Saturdays or Sundays or Bank Holidays so not such a good service now.

Multiple shops all under one roof as usual masks have to be worn unless you are exempt cleaners are doing a fantastic job throughout the place it's a good place to visit on a cold or rainy day lots of different shops to visit

  • 2/5 Mark S. 2 years ago on Google
Handy(ish) if you don't want to go in to town...but with the exception of WH Smiths, Morrisons and M&S, the outlet are very small, poorly stocked versions of their city counterparts. As far as shopping centres go, it's a pretty naff shopping experience.

A real big and nice shopping mall where collection of multiple types of retail shops available. There’s a small but nice food court in the 1st floor. Very good Christmas 🎄 decorations to create festive mood.

  • 4/5 Kevin “Nil” H. 2 years ago on Google
Very nice visit but due to the covid outbreak a few shops are now no longer. Would be nice to see something take their place something with a bit more choice than the other shops. Me personally, I don't think there is enough diversity

Usual mix of 'same' shopping centre shops. But it is what it is. Good parking and access. The place is clean and well kept. There are public toilets along with some additional relief points in some shops. The help point in the middle is always staffed. The centre wasn't busy when visited. (Monday late morning).

A sad reflection of what it used to be. Once a great example of an out of town mall, now just rubbish. An empty food court just shows how bad it really is. First visit in years, last as well

  • 3/5 Harmoney R. 2 years ago on Google
It's a old building like Many I understand it was down up a few years back but the last time I was in it it's seems to be going fast again part in due to so many empty shops and so much rubbish shops in it Wich is a shame Bec felt like it was on the up few years ago and the food court if we can call it that they is nothing left of it every thing has shut down even the burger king I believe is closed as been they many times and was never open so not sure the food court reminds me of the old st James shopping center food court Wich was dred full I think all the Edinburgh malls should look at Glasgow malls in part they got so much right and the food court are pretty good the only ok one in Edinburgh is the prince mall one it's not to bad lots of choices

  • 4/5 Anthony R. 1 year ago on Google
It is well placed close to a tram stop, making it an easy location to reach when you just want a few food items when travelling. They have a large car park making it ideal for locals. I have not looked through the whole of the place but have seen that it is large. An online search can easily show you if your choice of shops is there.

A couple of new shop's have opened since my last visit. One pound below. Similar to other pound shops but still worth a look in and spending a few pounds. There is a Morrison,New Look, Disney Store,Marks and Spencer, along with many other shops that makes the Gyle worth the visit. Great eating areas if you are feeling hungry after a busy shop. There is something for everyone from baguette to burgers and pizza or Chinese. Very clean and calm shopping experience.

Good all round offering of shops. If you're into food... Great Belgian beer selection at Morrisons, who also have a fantastic meat, cheese, and salad counter. The M&S has great food if you're looking for something just that bit more special.

I visited the Food Court, I love this Venue. I remember it when it first opened when it had plenty of food outlets and sparkled. Today it is in need of a revamp and more food outlets. Its lost its flagship status.

It's a shame the plants at M + S looked do dry and limp today. I had come to buy some but decided not to bother

Medium sized shopping centre with Good coffee shops and amenities fora leisurely shopping experience. Plenty of parking. Easy Access to buses and trams.

  • 5/5 Stuart D. 1 year ago on Google
The Gyle doesn't have the biggest range of shops but does have some good ones and some nice eating options. Always end up in Tiger and there is a very good M&S to always save the day.

  • 3/5 Paul G. 1 year ago on Google
no where near as good as it was when it first opened and is in need of a freshening up. footfall is definitely down and the closing of Burger King and other food outlets in the food area upstairs doesn't help. this is in a corner of Edinburgh where there are lots of businesses and housing developments going on nearby but the trams are also close to the centre which could draw people into the city centre instead.

  • 3/5 Edgecumbe V. 1 year ago on Google
I went into M & S for a white T-shirt ; I found several the right size but none in white ; I bought one in the least unpleasant shade I could find. I noticed a Morrison's filling station there so, when I left Edinburgh on Friday, I called in to fill up with diesel before my trip South. Here ends my evaluation of the Gyle centre !

  • 3/5 Ian B. 1 year ago on Google
Well past it's best. Sparse customer footfall reflects mediocre shops and food court which has declined to the point of death. Too small a retail venue to make the journey worthwhile

  • 2/5 Paul G. 1 year ago on Google
Nice place to shop but not as good as it used to be.. Alot of good shops are gone. The food court is a joke now. Not much choice. pizza hut and burger King are gone which is very disappointing.
