11.07.2022 Lots of choice - clothes, shoes, homeware etc. Very clean and modern. Good to see fewer empty shops. Came looking for dinos and was not disappointed. Pity they closed down the loos on LG floor. Very handy if in a hurry and the lifts are all full (esp with a pram). Maybe they will re-open them?

This Place looks so magical at Christmas, it was amazing to spend some time shopping for gifts for family and for little goodies. The Christmas lights in this mall are incredible and the their is a wide selection of shops in this mall from Hotel Chocolate to Zara so you can buy your foodie friends a gift aswell as your fashion obsessed friends too!! There are lots of good little cafés located inside and you can buy really lovely cupcakes from the centre of the mall. I highly recommend coming here for your annual Christmas shopping in Norwich :)

I didn't realise that Shop Mobility has mobility scooters that you can use for a few hours free of charge. My neighbour was so excited to be able to get out finally! She hasn't been to the city in years but to know she could ask for a scooter free of charge was amazing! I believe you have to ring to book.

A good shopping centre with a good range of shops. The shopping centre has a reasonably priced modern carpark with easy access to the shops via escalators or lifts. The shopping centre also has good sized modern public toilets, handy for those who have driven a considerable distance to visit the shopping centre.

The Chantry Place Shopping Mall in Norwich has the practical element of many well-maintained public toilets. However, you would never find me inside Chantry Place unless I had taken a wrong turn and walked in by mistake... Ghastly

Nice and clean place, lots of shops to choose from (even though all on the more pricey end of shopping) and plenty of choice for food/drinks. Big issue that there are only toilets by the food area, absolute pain when you need to go in a hurry especially with pushchairs (lifts can be slow/full) and even worse when you have children toilet training! Definitely need to rethink the closing of the toilets.

Great place to go shopping. Lots of different shops over 2 floors On the 3rd floor there's a food court with a variety of places to eat & drink from KFC to Subway & Chinese. The toilets are also situated on this level.

It's a shopping centre, its a big one, but its actually not too bad. A good mix of the expected chain stores you get everywhere, and independent stores, as well as niche stalls throughout the centre. Food courts with nice array of restaurants, catering for all tastes and ample pay to park nearby. Toilets too... for a shopping centre you could do way worse!

Great place to go with friends and family. Absolutely filled with stores to occupy your time and attention, as well as plenty of food to indulge on. A good array of stores for adults and children, with beautiful decorations as well.

An obvious effort has been made to make the mall feel upmarket and there is a very wide range of shops ranging from fashion, food, health & beauty, as well as the large department store Frazer. There is an attached multi-story car park and just outside the mall is a small variety of restraunts. It's also only a few minutes walk from Norwich Market. Some highlights inside the mall include, a hotel chocolat with its own cafe, the fashion brand Urban Outfitters and the gift/homewares store Lisa Angel.

A great shopping centre. It contains everything, everything. When we first came to Norwich we were able to get everything we needed from here. You can also have a nice time in their beautiful cafes. Since there is wifi, you can work and surf the internet easily. Toilets are clean and tidy. Although the food court is a little lacking, it is enough to satisfy our hunger.

Absolutely loved it in here. Loads of my favorite shops. Wasn't too busy, even on the bank holiday. We were so lucky with queues and generally the atmosphere was great too!

This is a lovely centre, goid range of shops,Sketchers staff lovely people. Wide range of eateries ,ranging from the usual to Italian, Greek, Asian. Bakers & Baristas make fantastic smoothies & best latte I've ever had.Lovely staff too. Toilets very clean.

Meh, it's a pantheon to consumerism. All the usual chain stores, fairly bland. Carpark lacks footpaths so you have to take your chances squeezing between rows of cars or walking in traffic, not ideal. Parking was £5 for 3 hours which feels a bit cheeky. It's clean, modern, well lit, all the things you recognise from any new shopping mall, but that's also the big downside - you could be anywhere, there doesn't seem to be a compelling reason to go to this particular one (except it being the nearest/most convenient). Doesn't smell as nice as the chocolate factory it replaced.

Great parking for Norwich City Centre has a huge array of fashion/tech/toy shops, cafes, fast food, and even an escape room. It's very spacious even when the city is busy.

Easy to dismiss these places as soulless, it's hard to describe the emptiness in a place so full of people. The lights are bright, the ceilings are high, it should be majestic but it feels lacking. I want to be jostled, cajoled, enticed into spending my inheritance. I want to forget about the world. I want this to be a place of magic and dreams. Instead I hanker for the freezing rain outside.

Not generally a person for shopping centres however was impressed with the place. Specifically looking for a particular store. Good range of shops. Lovely Christmas decorations. Clean and tidy.

The only thriving mall in Norwich although the other is still worth a look. Chantry Place is located closer to the bus station and with a bigger car parking area and three floors of food and shops offers more shopping opportunities.

  • 4/5 Martyn C. 5 months ago on Google
Lots of good shops and places to eat, nice and bright, and has a welcoming feel. The only real downside is the lack of toilets on each floor, and it is hard to locate the ones that are there. My disabled wife also found that there were not enough facilities for disabled people.

  • 2/5 Carol B. 7 months ago on Google
I don't like shopping and feel trapped when I'm in Chantry Place. It's hard to work your way through from one side to the other. Is it just me? St Stephens Street to The theatre Royal. ..hard to navigate.

Its clean and lovely if your looking for high fashion and more expensive shops , not great for families as there is no child friendly shops since the removal of disney store and build a bear . Would be great to see more family friendly or budget friendly stores

What's going on in Norwich?! it's a tragedy that retailers are fleeing Norwich. God Almighty I'm like going back to the 80's or something. Backwardness on every level from restaurants to clothes and everything else. Don't clap and give positive feedback because soon we will be shopping only online by amazon or ebay. They give people positive reviews because McDonald's?! ...that's some paranoia. Every simple village in Eastern Europe has more to offer than Norwich.

Extremely rude and unfriendly security staff. Food delivery drivers are forced to take off their helmets in rainy and very cold weather. Other shopping malls in other cities do not require this. Delivery drivers are providing a service to the community

Great place to shop, nice modern and open, you could definitely spend a few hours here if your into shopping. Located right in the centre of Norwich, many choices of lunch and breakfast and isn’t too far from Castle Mall too, if you get bored of here

  • 4/5 Ethan 2 years ago on Google
Nice enough shopping center, a bit too many clothes shops There is a lot of empty space so feels a bit desolate which is not great for having a friendly atmosphere. Employees are very helpful and informative. Escalators are broken so stairs are only way up and are difficult to find. Most stairs in neatherlands are too steep but these ones are easy enough to get up

Chapelfield, or now Chantry Place, is now a staple of Norwich and is a great location full of a variety of shops. They also have a good food hall located on the top floor, though this can get really busy. Car park is in a handy place and has plenty of capacity, even if you don't plan to shop in the centre itself.

  • 3/5 Isaac G. 2 years ago on Google
This is the best shopping centre in Norwich, however the toilets near the car park have been permanently closed meaning you have to go to the other side of the centre and then you have to go to the top floor. This is not good if you have a buggy as for the last 2 weeks there has only been one lift working in the food court set. A tip is to use the H&M lift as it is not busy and H&M has an exit onto the food court. Other than that there is a good selection and I would recommend.

Full of great shops, lots of restaurants and full of security to ensure your safety in the huge mall full of people. Janitors constantly wiping down surfaces. Can be a little crazy with the amount of people but definitely the best place to shop for miles

Having not been there before, we decided to try the Italian restaurant in Chantry Place before going to the Theatre Royal. Being the 1st people in,we were served quickly, both of us having myshroom&chicken risotto. Deliciously hot all the way through. The choc tarte&coffee(I had a cold drink instead) was just enough to finish the meal off. Hannah, our waitress was lovely. Will def go back again!

Don't normally like shopping but quite impressed with this place. Good selection of shops and places to get something to eat (I hate the word 'eateries'). Good number of new shops as well, not just your generic High Street shops. All in all, pretty good.

  • 4/5 Tony P. 1 year ago on Google
Always clean , always buzzing! Chantry place offers such a variety of outlets, from Hotel chocolat to super drug, there is little you cant get here. The food court has a great selection of cuisines, both take away and eat in

A new shopping centre, nice and clean and spacious. Lots of independent shops and plenty of chain shops so you can shop to your heart's content. Ample of cafés for a rest.

  • 3/5 Mark V. 1 year ago on Google
Not sure why the toilets downstairs were removed, but it does mean a long trip up to the food court which is normally very busy. A good range of shops but nothing special.

  • 4/5 Pauline Y. 1 year ago on Google
One of the biggest mall in Norwich. There are 3 levels. Upper floor is restaurants and fast food. The rest are all retail shops mostly fashion outlets.

  • 5/5 Maryjane A. 2 years ago on Google
Have a feel of the mall with loads of beautiful shops, grab a cart and shop exquisite designer wears, have some great meals at KFC, McDonald's, some bumble tea and others. Tech items aren't left out.

  • 4/5 George M. 8 months ago on Google
Definitely going downhill. Every time we visit there is a different shop that has closed down. The food court needs to be improved because there is about 3 closed down restaurants up there now and they have removed the normal seating areas there now.

  • 3/5 Hannah T. 1 year ago on Google
Really great mall except one thing! After visiting for the first time in quite a while they closed the toilets by the car park entrance inside. So you now have to walk in the opposite direction from parking and go up 2 storeys just to use the restroom before leaving! I don't understand WHY you would get rid of those toilets???

  • 5/5 Richard C. 1 year ago on Google
Nice clean and modern shopping centre. Parking here as well but can be expensive if staying for a full day. Good selection of shops all the major shops in one place. Top floor has places to eat.

  • 4/5 Andrea 1 year ago on Google
Very good shopping mall, leading into main street shopping. Plenty of shops and elevators for the disabled and elderly. Food stalls on top floor, for example: KFC, Macdonalds, Subway and many more. Only down side is the toilets have been moved to the top floor only, where they used to be on lower levels.

Nice shopping centre, clean and well laid out. Easy spend a day in there 😅

  • 5/5 Claire H. 1 year ago on Google
This has always been seen as the richer of the two malls in Norwich. I do find it wear I gravite to grab a quick bite with my daughter when she fancies McDonald's though and when we visit a favourite shop of hers. I always find it clean and tidy.

  • 5/5 Ela L. 1 year ago on Google
Very nice shopping mall. Great food court with most of the top fast food restaurants. Loads of seating to take a rest and a great variety of shops. Would recommend if you are visiting the city.

  • 5/5 The Peanut T. 11 months ago on Google
A mall in the true sense of the word. The layout and shop choices make this much more familiar if you are used to shopping in malls in Europe or Asia. A good selection of outlets, on multi levels connected by lifts or escalators. Clean and easy to find toilets. It was raining when we were there and it was big enough to want to stay and just window shop until it stopped. Located behind St Stephens church, just a very short walk from the market square, The Forum, or the bus station. At the rear of the mall is an outdoor ground level eating plaza with a decent selection of restaurants offering various types of cuisine from burgers to Greek styles.

I visited this place for the first time in a couple of years and was actually quite impressed at the range of shops, with goods at sensible prices. Seemed much better than the castle Mall. I will probably go back for some things. It had an air of being clean, bright and airy.

  • 1/5 D M. 9 months ago on Google
This place is extortionate, even with the prices going up up up up up. It's pricing us poor people out. Now we can only use the place to warm up when it's chilly in winter and dream about having enough money to spend in there.

  • 5/5 Henry O. 10 months ago on Google
Sited in the Norwich city centre, Chantry place is a one-stop shopping experience for people who live in and near Norwich. Food court and toilets are on the third floor.
