Good condition, nice and clean, good range of shops, never too busy

Abysmal. A few mobile phone shops, access to The Range from the centre, some £ type shops like Poundland, New Look, The Works, Bon Marche, Boots and Semi-Chem and a clatter of empty shops. Dunnes has gone and is replaced by a Sports Direct and something else. I didn’t even walk up that way - no point. Hardly a sinner in the whole centre. It used to be open later in the evenings but now closes at 6pm. Plus some of the stores had their shutters well down at about 5.45-5.50 or even earlier! That was my first visit since before covid and it will be the last as there’s nothing in it worth talking about. Car parking is ok because there’s no-one in it. It has a food court upstairs but not sure what shape it was in. There’s a seating area in the middle of the mall but it’s tired looking and the chairs etc are all chipped. No-one was near it. Needs knocked down now.

There is definitely room for improvement at Connswater. It has a lot of potential but over the last number of years a range of shops have closed inside the centre. Some of these were big brand names such as Argos, Tesco, Dunnes Stores. It is quite a modern centre and has a food court with Burger King and subway to choose from. It also has quite a large retail park which offers a number of shops to include Lidl and B&M.

Very limited selection of shops and the heating hardly ever works which makes for a disappointing shopping experience. Change of managers/owners required if this once great shopping institution is to survive.

This use to be a great shopping centre but not now, they don't even have trolleys so don't expect to do a big shop

The shopping center had a wide variety of stores, ranging from popular brands to local boutiques. The layout was well-organized and easy to navigate, with clear signage directing shoppers to different sections. The mall was clean and well-maintained, creating a pleasant shopping and making it a great place to spend the day. Overall, I had a positive experience and would highly recommend this shopping center.

We got our Sky TV there... accessible... more like a mall and the fact that there is somewhere to put your art exhibits is a plus👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

The place has died since I loved going there as a kid. No pic wicks anymore. It lost its appeal now. Easons was great, pick wicks was great. This place needs more appeal. Better shops. But the place does have that potential. How many empty stores than open ones?

It's got a wee bit grim inside. Staff at shops such as the works and Newlook were excellent however I really feel for the businesses here. There is a lack of stores moving into the centre, decline in footfall, it would be a great community hub however as with many local shopping centres the big value shops in the surrounding grounds seem to have the big people pull. Many little gems such as Savers, Boots and a food hall.

It's such a shame to see conneswater now. They need a decent supermarket in there to increase footfall and bring back good retailers, maybe even Primark if you want to keep the low prices going. It's currently full of discount shops. Only decent shop is new look and of course the range, otherwise it's only really used by the locals because it's so depressing.

Really this centre needs some life injected into it. It had a totally different feel when I was a teen, now I find it verging on depressing with the constant harassment of charities and companies bombarding you when you are walking through it. I try to go elsewhere if I can avoid it, only the range tempts me and the cafe at the front doors.

As always, never seems to be to busy. The people who work in the centre are in the majority pleasent and helpful. Sad to see it running down!

Lovely centre but new superbowl overpriced with a full onion mixed into your meal, waiting 1 hour for my meal+ everything lukewarm, never again

Speaking as someone who remembers when Connswater first opened, I seriously need to ask "what happened?".....it's like watching an injured animal die slowly! Please give it some attention and bring it back to life OR put it out of it's misery! It's depressing!

Need more investment, shocking when the politicians decide they don't need to spend money on area's like this, when it could only be more helpful than not.

It has lot of shops like Boots, Peacocks, Bonmarché, Poundland, Savers, Shoezone, etc. they have a small open cafe and many other small shops, including Sports direct outlet and a cafeteria on the first floor. It also provides an entrance to the Range. All in all a good shopping centre.

  • 3/5 Michelle P. 7 months ago on Google
Not as busy as it used to be but handy for picking up bits and pieces

  • 1/5 Neil R. 1 year ago on Google
One of the most depressing thrown together bunch of shops I've seen in a long time, opening times are random, so many empty units the place is close to rock bottom. They'd be better closing it and building apartments.

  • 3/5 Ross D. 1 year ago on Google
While doing a message in Belfast I decided to go here to see what it was like. It was not what I had expected there were more closed units than open ones. The biggest store was The Range which fair enough had lots of items to pick from. I don't recommend making a trip from outside Belfast.

A shadow of it's former self. Barely any shops of interest and a lot of (charity and low quality stores) The place is also starting to have a fusty smell due to most stores being closed and not heated properly. Their events are one saving grace with my kids enjoying searching for dragons. The place is also well displayed during Halloween, Christmas and other events. I can't fault their efforts in trying to revitalise Connswater. Hopefully one day we'll see it attract better and higher quality stores in the future, otherwise I can't see it staying open. The range is the only thing keeping people coming for the most part. Perhaps a soft play area like newtonards would bring in more families.

For the sake of your health, I will register you at Iveagh Centre on 67 Broadway street. Let 's go here for a physical examination. If you want to improve yourself from the inside out, my opinion is that going to Better Gym Connswater located in the Unit 11 Connswater Shopping Centre for a regular workout is a good way to go.

It's my local shopping centre I frequent it a few times a week some great shops although over the years a few have closed and the sites remain empty which is a great pity I would like a few more fashion and shoe shops but I understand times are hard for businesses as they are struggling with the cost of living but it would be nice to see more shops opening up in the future as it is a great local shopping centre

  • 4/5 Pauline J. 1 year ago on Google
Good variety of shops, but also a lot of closed units

  • 4/5 Karen P. 2 years ago on Google
A variety of shops. Free outside and covered parking. Good toilet facilities. Fast food outlets on first floor. Passport photo booth. Security personnel available to answer questions.

I went in looking for a table and chairs, on site there is a furniture shop, my daughter and I had a quick look, although they all were lovely, it was much more the size and colour and comfort I was looking for, so I left and went to furniture direct on the falls Road, it was there I got what I needed colour comfort style price.

Don't worry if you haven't got a mask, it's not like they enforce the wearing of them. Example being went in on Friday afternoon straight through the main entrance are 3 "security guards" only 1 of them with a mask, kind of sets the tone. Formerly a decent shopping centre that's now very tired and on its last legs.

  • 2/5 The Lone T. 1 year ago on Google
Gone downhill from when I was a kid. Shops close at 6pm, despite being in a city and people finishing work. Grubby and grim.

There is nothing much in conswater anymore. Just alot of empty shops and what shop are there. There isn't much in them. Unless conswater get alot more new shops fashion home etc it's not worth going to, to be honest

Used to love Connswater but it's lost it's atmosphere since Covid struck and looks tired! I hope it gets on track again- Tesco is missed although The Range is a great addition- difficult to get out past the queue if you are not buying tho!

  • 3/5 Harvey G. 1 year ago on Google
This is a fairly good shopping centre. Most units are occupied. It has a decent variety of shops including Range. There is a nice cafe on the ground floor at the front entrance and other eating opportunities upstairs.

  • 5/5 Aci d. 1 year ago on Google
Great shopping center with so many stores to pick from and best thing is the free parking so you can take your time. There is food stores so you can even spend all day if you want checking all the shops and with so many to choose from and not from the area it could nearly be a trip for the family has you never know what hidden gem could be in one store that isn't in your local one.

We enjoy going there especially fir coffee and lunch at RELISH. Great food. Savers, semi chem, pound shop and lots more. Only orioles there is no grocers.

  • 1/5 Eleanor S. 1 year ago on Google
I haven't been here for a number of years. I couldn't get a trolley and had to carry my grandson in his car seat. It wasn't a great experience at all. Some of the shop units were empty and the variety down the mall was poor. I imagine the main reason people go is for the range. I won't be back

  • 2/5 Khaled G. 1 year ago on Google
I don't know how this shopping centres still open , theres nothing in it worth visiting as a child I remember going here with my granny every Friday it was always extremely busy full off great atmosphere and could buy what was needed . If ur traveling from somewhere avoid here and go to a different place just a few pound shops , empty shelves , and clothing from years ago

Lacklustre Shops, empty units, ignorant management, always inaccurate opening times, rude customer service and generally not a nice place to have to go through. 2 stars because Del Pierro's coffee and staff are excellent.

  • 1/5 Johanne P. 2 years ago on Google
Was told to leave today as dogs are not allowed in spite of the fact that my dog was securely strapped into my sholley trolley. Have been taking him there on a regular basis for the past six months. Nothing was ever said to me concerning this until today. These people are obviously not pet friendly

Odd little mall, dipped in to use the toilets on our way to the cemetery. There were a few security guards chasing down some ten year old boys, it was mildly amusing.

  • 5/5 Keith M. 1 year ago on Google
Lovely local shopping centre. Has everything you need and it's a pleasure to dander around it. Go for an ice cream in Del Pieros and a coffee in Relish. Fantastic spot.

Good wee shopping centre always remember going here when I was a kid. Some shops have shut down would be good to see more pop up but unfortunately it's like this across all shopping centres.

This Connswater shopping centre should be shut down Like Flagship Bangor some days when I come into the shopping centre it's like a goat town and plus the opening hours everyday say 9:00am to 18:00pm and Back in the day they Use to stay open Late night shopping on Thursday and Friday But now it's not even worth the visit anymore and all it's Left is Peacocks Poundland poundstretchers 02 Maxx Store The Range and Boots and back in the day they have plenty of shops like Argos JJB Sports Dunnstores and Tesco and Connswater and when you walk in it doesn't even feel like a shopping Centre and when it Came to 2022 some stores Shutdown like Argos JJB Sports but you feel you can't even want to go to the shopping centre anymore Because some store shutdown now

😠 As many have already posted here you will be charged £100 if you stay over 3 hours in the car park which is not at all well sign posted. Hopefully others won’t get caught out too. I will shop elsewhere in the future.
