Shopping center

👍👍 Been here before. Lots of small original shops, not your normal high street stores. Lovely walk through area if you're just browsing. Couple of small cafes as well, to rest those tired feet. One cafe is on the terrace, with lots of room and lift access for disabled guests. People often mention shops, shopping, small, visit, lovely, good, dogs, friendly, Lovely, area,

Lovely shopping area.there is a lovely café called the terrace tea room. Food is excellent and the staff are polite and courteous. Well worth a visit. There is a shop called the little niche, sells gothic/alternative wares, not over priced either. I forget what one of the shop's is called but it sells bath bombs, amongst other things, reasonably priced and I would say they're as good as lush bath bombs but without lushes price tags.

Not much there really. Couple of gift shops, clothes shop. Charity shop, bodyshop, sweet shop. Couple of tea rooms, both of which are good. Unfortunately loads of people with dogs, the entrance is quite narrow so you're have to navigate through past people and dogs, minding the puddles Skipton is bad for dogs in general. Which is a shame because it is a nice place to visit. Shops and shopping, and tearooms are not for dogs.

Lovely cafes and shops. The best cafe I think is the one upstairs. Mostly independent shops selling a wide range of products. Recommended

Good variety of shops at street level. Also undercover if it is raining. Shop fronts are colourful and encourage customers to enter and browse. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Craven Court Shopping Centre has constantly changed throughout its 40+ years history, but it's still a bustling thoroughfare off the High Street in Skipton! It's full of speciality shops, certainly worth a visit. Places of old & new, products you don't find on the modern High Street anymore, priced favourably. Plus, for the ever patient husband, there are a number of comfortable benches, or even grab a coffee on the terrace, whilst you wait....

Ideally located in town centre well set out with a grate selection of small outlets including a few cafés. Original buildings with a roof fitted to give an indoor centre with an outdoor feeling. Worthwhile a visit whilst in Skipton.

Great variety of shops. Upstairs Terrace Tea Rooms is a personal favourite for a cooked breakfast with a pot of Yorkshire tea. Dog friendly on the undercover roof of Craven Court. Highly recommended.

Lovely large café with a small dog friendly area inside and large outdoor area too (still inside craven court.) Staff very friendly and helpful. The menu was good and reasonably priced. As an observation though I would consider reserving the indoor dog friendly area for people with dogs rather than be forced turn people away with their dogs when there are plenty of tables that those without dogs to use.

A small indoor shopping area with a bit of history which is a pleasant change to the usual indoor shopping experiences, especially those built in the 1970s and later. Several small shops with an interesting mix of goods to buy. The cafe is good with well filled baguettes on offer. Not an easy place to get around if you're using a mobility scooter, it's quite narrow in places.

There are some nice independent shops in this small shopping arcade. We went for coffee and cake at a place called The Cakeole, ( not misspelt). The place makes you smile as you walk in. It's quirky, eclectic decor is fabulous. There's allsorts to catch your eye, from bowler hat lamp shades to chairs with wellington boots on. The ceiling is blue with white clouds on. They do a good selection of cakes, different teas, coffee and food in general. Delicious. The staff are friendly, and even the loo is quirky being papered with old Beano comics. Well worth a visit.

This is a lovely little shopping centre. They are some lovely little shops in here, the only problem is I can get in them, I think there's only 1 I can get in, as I'm in my mobility scooter, and there too small and have a step going in the them. This seid the shopping centre is a lovely place to look around, the shop owner are very nice, snd my sister bring things out for me to look at, so don't let the accsessabilty put you off. It look amazing at Christmas too. Well worth visit.

Love ❤️ going to the Cake Ole for a snack at anytime of the day. Cake to die for but their sandwiches are fantastic. Treat our Grandson who loves the cake and icecream, and had had his Wedding Cake made by the Cake-ole. Beautiful.

A great shopping arcade boasting a great tea shop on the first floor and a superb Jewellers, Alexander's, on the ground floor. We always buy something on our frequent visits. Well worth a look in.

Visiting Skipton is a great day out. Craven Court is good, but in the last year quite a few shops have closed. The cake ole cafe is very good for something to eat and drink, cakes are a lovely treat. Dandelion has some very good gifts and hilarious cards. Give it a visit you won't be disappointed.
