We order from Rajpoot every time we get a takeaway, it is absolutely amazing! The customer service is always phenomenal, the staff are lovely, the delivery is always on time and the food is BEAUTIFUL! my partner is allergic to nuts and they are so brilliant when it comes to allergy safety, everything is clearly labeled, they keep allergens separate and always so helpful when we call to check about an allergy order. Their website is really good too for ordering and delivery is waaayy cheaper than any other round here. Could not recommend them enough!

First time visit with a friend. We ordered a Maharaja Jhinga, chicken and prawn balti, paneer daal with garlic naan and chapattis. The dishes were all brought out together and in a reasonable time, the curries were very good with plenty of protein in them. The breads were very soft and fresh, the garlic naan had LOTS of garlic which was smoked and gave a very nice taste to the bread. The bill total was £31 with 1 glass of lassi. Definitely recommend here as it's much much better value than the other curry houses in the local Shipley centre vicinity. Will visit again.

Rajpoot used to be the best takeaway around the Shipley area..... Unfortunately they are now the worse. I haven’t ordered for 3 months because of missing items on my order and late deliveries. I’d like to say thanks for saving my samosas from 3 months ago & bringing them back tonight. The starters are inedible & really hard. Also the green sauce that everyone loved that used to have chopped onions in has now been watered down so much it has has no taste at all. Really sorry Rajpoot because the guys who built this business don’t deserve this review.

Hadn’t enjoyed a Rajpoot in a few years and I was really pleased the food was still superb. If you want no fuss service, top notch quality and unbeatable value curries then head here. It was a busy Saturday night with many diners inside, but yet the operation run like a well oiled machine. Highly recommended; puts other curry houses to shame and shows what can be done with a team who clearly take pride in their establishment. 🙌

After a number of years not ordering any takeaway food from a number of establishments due to being under whelmed to say the least, Rajpoot has revised my confidence! What can I say but amazing! Thank you so much for helping me finally find a decent curry after all this time! New regular personified!

Less than one star, a mediocre meal but more importantly the service and attitude of the middle aged waiter can only be discribed as dire!! You're in the wrong job, you almost threw the food at every table I watched as you rolled your eyes and grunted at every customer. Never again, the young man who was new to serving was delightful hope he doesnt pick up the bad habits.

Ordered 2 curries mild. Recieved 2 curries....have a guess eh......far from mild....when 3 curries are over £35 please at least listen to how people want what you offer. Not just blanket it with chilli powder like someone who's never made one before...unless thats what it is.....10 yrs ago definitely. Now ? Make it yourself.......1/20 ....A sad shame its gone to pot...

Best dish house in Shipley. Great service. Food was clean and very well served. The taste was amazing. Very good value for money. Don’t be deceived if quiet. Try this place out. The lamb on the bone is so good. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Heard good things about this place but unfortunately it didn’t live up to the hype. Still trying to get the taste of chilli powder out of my mouth 🤣 Maybe I just ordered poorly but it wasn’t what I was expecting.

I had been to this place once however the food taste is average. I had ordered chiken tikka biryani but the taste was not so good. You can try sizzlers that was ok but not awesome.. Tandori roti is quite big in size. people are humble. service is fast and good.Ambience is quite ok.

Very sad to be writing this review. Rajpoot used to be a reliable curry, good value and great portions with superb flavour. From the start of 2022 - things have gone a little down hill. Changes to the seekh kebabs, smaller/thinner, less tasty and less juicy - for example. Delivery has been slower and dishes look warm on 1 our of 2 deliveries. I hope the team can get back to their best.... sometime soon? Its hard to find a good authentic curry in BFD - shame on you!

Was quiet when we went. But service was very slow. No staff where present for a while so we seated ourselves. Then we waited around 15 minutes before we could order. Curries was pretty bland and did not have much spice/ flavour. Starters where of good quality. If i was to return again would only be for starters not curry. May try them again in the near future as it might have been an off day, but for now, this was my experience!

It has been roughly 35 years ago since my husband and I have eaten from here. The menu was very carefully explained. I explained I did not like very hot, spicy food. I was also told that any dish could be ordered to my tastes. My husband ordered Chicken Tikka Madras with chippatis, whilst I ordered a chef's speciality with a side order of potatoes and cheese with rice. Brilliant customer service, could not fault the staff at all. The food, well, that was superb, it was extremely tasty, well cooked. Hubby says his food was nice and spicy. We both had mango lassi to drink. It would appear that the lassi is home made, which, I would say, is the best lassi I have ever had. Everything was beautifully cooked. We will definitely be coming back. Absolutely beautiful. The price was reasonable which is a huge bonus in these hard times.

I always order from here as the food is really nice. High quality, fresh and flavoursome curries. I usually order a fish bhuna or a fish and prawn masala from the seafood dishes menu. One of my favourite curries is the King Prawn Lahoree from the Rajpoot Delights menu, it's a bit more pricey than the other curries but it is so delicious with a mild, nutty and sweet flavour; great if you want something a bit different. I also recommend the vegetable dishes, they always taste fresh and there is a big selection. I recently had a mushroom curry that had a nice creamy taste. Nice food for a good price. Service is always excellent; on less busy days I have received my food in just 20 minutes, on busier days you will have to wait about an hour but I don't mind because the food is always lovely!

Think it’s time we shared a review, after 4 years I’m hoping we’re at Christmas card level now. The food is always absolutely incredible. We have only eaten in once due to tiny people (children I mean, I’m not being rude) but it still feels the same quality. We once waited 1hr 45 mins (still worth it) but that’s improved a lot since the delivery charge got added. There’s been a few poppadoms forgotten but only a handful of times in 4 years. We stray occasionally to try new things but always return because I’ve never found anything better! We will use this place as long as it’s open (or the chef quits) oh and always get Asian style! FYI I ALWAYS get a meat, keema, chicken balti, medium, Asian style with chips. Insanely good.

I went here this morning 12.35 a.m (2.12 23) when an old friend took me Never been before, wish I had. Place wad packed and I can see why. Great service and the food some of the best I've had in an Asian restaurant. I had Chicken liver tikka to start, simply delicious and generous sizes of chicken in it. Main course was Lamb Karari. Again generous sizes of Lamb and a very spicy sauce. I had take take half of it home as there was so much.

We ordered the Mix Vegetarian Platter and the Rajpoot Special Mix for starters, and both dishes were delicious. For the main course, we ordered the Maharaja Jhinga Biryani, Chicken Biryani, Garlic Naan, and Tarka Daal. The Maharaja Jhinga Biryani was especially delicious, but both the Chicken Biryani and Tarka Daal were too spicy for our liking. Additionally, all of the main course dishes were under-seasoned, so we had to add salt separately. Despite this, the overall quality and taste of the food was good. However, the wait time for our dishes was quite long, which was a negative experience.

We have eaten at rajpoot upwards of 20 times now I almost always get a lamb handy gosh the food is cooked perfectly every time It's a very simple and relaxed atmosphere me and my partner love sharing a chicken boti, all of the staff are nice and we like to have a desi tea to finish. It's my favourite places

Will never order again customer service is appalling (cold food as well) Made an order and was told it would be an hour. We waited 1 hour and twenty before ringing back. When we rang back we were put on hold for 5 minutes as he kept on asking for our address, then told us he was packing it up now and we would have to wait 50 minutes for it to get too us. When it’s a ten minute drive away. They clearly forgot about our order!!!!!. Not the first time they have done this food has also arrived cold and items have been missing. Quite frustrating when it’s costs over £35.00 for two curry’s,chips, two popadoms and a bottle of coke.

Six years ago, I would have recommended this restaurant to anyone as being one of the best and most economically friendly curry houses in Bradford. The curry was very delicately made, well balanced in spice and flavour and fit the definition of comfort food. Most importantly, the curry was profoundly consistent; a quality that is vanishingly rare to find amongst Bradford's curry houses at this moment of writing. Sadly, the quality of food has slipped very steeply over the past few years and I seldom recognise the curry as being the same one that I used to enjoy. The curry is now very clumsily put together, a lot redder and runnier than it used to be and is, more often than not, dominated by an overpowering taste of garlic. It is just simply not flavourful or consistent enough to justify the purchase anymore, I am sorry. I do hope that things improve again in the future and I will be happy to return as a customer, if so.

I went here with a group of 8, what can I say a very mediocre meal but more importantly the service and attitude of the middle aged waiter I was shocked and disgusted! Xlearly in the wrong job, you almost threw the food at every table I watched as you rolled your eyes and grunted at every customer. Never again, even then had the cheek to come Over and say two items hadn’t been paid for, packing for taking our food away and pododoms. Shocking

Small restaurant in Shipley. Evening visit. Service and staff were good. Ordered the mix sizzler starter and two large curry dishes. Food was too spicy and did not impress. It is a no-frills place but the room was too cold despite assurances that the heating was on. Did not enjoy the visit.

Decent enough food and good portions, starters especially. Atmosphere a bit dead and cold, literally both with the bright lights and the fact most people in there had to keep their coats on! Fella next to us falling asleep constantly and seething wife spoiled the atmosphere further, not somewhere for a romantic meal but for after pub grub it seems even though no alcohol served. Handi Gosht was lovely and spiced well.

Curry order delivery. Waited 1.30 minutes. Not impressed!! No communication, tried ringing no answer!! Had to warm everything up, when finally arrived. Curry was nice, but wouldn’t order delivery again. Not worth the wait!
