Really good experience, perfect service from Tony and the team. Value for money is incredible and quality of food was spot on. Absolute gem of a place and you can tell why it's always packed out. You simply won't find another Italian restaurant that can compete on the taste and quality at these prices on the midweek 2-course offer. Will definitely be returning, really looking forward to it.

Went at 5:30 on a Thursday, as part of a birthday group of 25. We were able to take advantage of the two courses for 11:95 early bird menu. Excellent value for money. Waiter was really good and quickly took orders. Food was served quickly and was lovely, especially pizzas. Had a really good time there. Would recommend.

This place never disappoints. It's one of those rare places where the food is so good you think the bill is cheap. The staff are super friendly and are genuinely nice people aswell. You can tell they enjoy what they do. It's a family favourite for sure.

Update: Visited here again recently and it was just as good as the previous visit. Great early bird offer with great value! Excellent find. The food is amazing and the staff are nice and friendly. Very well priced for today's cost of living. I had the Sambuca Special Pizza and it was one of the best I've had, even the mixed salad was on another level. Cannot recommend this place enough!

Service that goes beyond any other to fulfill customer satisfaction. Tony really goes the extra mile to make his customers happy and this makes all the difference. The food is always excellent and the prices are reasonable. Safe to say no one will leave disappointed.

My favourite Italian Restaurant.

First time at Sambuca, the food was delicious and hot, you can see the chef cooking through the serving hatch which is always a nice touch. The service was great, very helpful and friendly. They had the whole restaurant singing. Would recommend!!

Good food, good service, good value. The staff is very friendly. If you like singing it is the place to go to. Personally it is not my cup of tea so I will go early to avoid that because it gets very noisy.

Such a lovely restaurant! Amazing food and atmosphere. The staff make the place and the owner is a great guy! Will definitely recommend and will be our new restaurant for birthdays and celebrations. Also we really enjoyed the sing song at the end of the night. It finished the night off with a bang 👌

Boxing Day meal, with family. Excellent, as usual. Very busy, but staff coped brilliantly. Also got takeout for the people that couldn’t attend, again excellent.

Took my family for a day before we had the funeral for my wife. Everything was so personal and Tony ( the owner ) is so welcoming. Great staff.

A small cosy place and very friendly atmosphere. The staff are very welcoming. I had the calamari for starters, not rubbery at all, lovely crunch and flavour to the batter. I had bass for the main, I recommend ordering chips as an extra with that. Lovely succulent fish, fresh tasting and nicely seasoned. Unfortunately they ran out of the very popular homemade tiramisu so I had some fantastic profiteroles instead. Very large, chocolatey and creamy. Then the music turned up, and so did the atmosphere and we all sang along to That's Amore. 😁✌️🎤🎵

What a fantastic place, the food is gorgeous, the staff are welcoming and so friendly, the pizza"s were tasty the lasagne was lovely and filling. Cannot believe we've not heard about this fab Italian. Price wise is ace, could easily be so much more and we have been those and this is far better, Google it read the reviews see the dishes and just book it.

Great service. Food portions good for the price. We were expecting the pizza to be more spicy but other than that everything was great. Even got mocktails when asked if they had any. Toilets nice and clean and the ambiance very nice with good music also.

5 stars do not feel like enough stars. We are OBSESSED with this place! The food is always fantastic; and so are the prices! My partner and I went on our first proper date here, and whenever we have the chance to eat out we don’t even think about booking another place. Every single waiter in the house look to genuinely enjoy their time there and are incredibly welcoming to all guests (especially Tony, we love Tony <3). There’s candles, there’s singing, there’s free shots - couldn’t find any way to fault this restaurant.

Fantastic meal this evening! I have had Italian food from five star restaurants in London and Venice and this place out does them all in; quality of food, atmosphere and staff.

Absolutely love this place. The service is second to none and the food simply sensational. Just make sure you book as its just about full every night. And their 2 course offer is such good value for money you can see why they're full.

We (4 adults and 1 child) just had a beautiful meal on the 2 for £10.95 menu here and the food was absolutely lovely, very generous portions of quality, tastey food. Honestly could not find fault with our experience, all of the staff were incredibly attentive and pleasant. And a nice complimentry shot of lemonchello to finish was a treat!

Welcoming - Turned up when it was fully booked but they worked out to get us seated & did really quickly. Amazing food, lovely staff, great ambiance.

Portion size and pricing is good but not the best Italian iv had by a long shot I had a fried mozzarella starter that was pretty basic and a calzone that was flavourless, the sauce is on the outside and without that sauce I would have struggled to eat it. Worth a visit though. Thank you
