Amazing food. Every time I have visited here I am truly impressed with the quality of the food and the service. Will always return to La Rue- my favourite food in Saltaire.

Cosy little restaurant, nice decor, excellent service. Food excellently presented and mostly cooked to perfection. Only quibble was the sides of veg (slightly over done) and the dauphinoise (needed more seasoning). But don't let that detract too much, overall still 5 stars. We had the full 3 courses, Inc a nice touch with a free mushroom soup shot before the starters, and I'd definitely go back.

i took my wife for a pre wedding anniversary meal, we had a very warm welcome from a nice young lady, the starters and main meal were very nice, we both had aberdeen angus steak which was cooked perfectly, we both enjoyed our night and will definitely return again and recommend booking a meal at la rue. best regards mr m hunter.

Five of us went a last Saturday night. Overall it was ok but I won’t be rushing back. It took 30 minutes for them to take our food order. Three of our starters had poached egg and all eggs were hard. The rest of the starters were nice. My main was a Thai green curry. It was ok but not the best I’ve had. The rest of the mains were really good, including beef Wellington and pork t-bone. Price was very reasonable and the setting was nice.

Lovely evening meal. We all had different choices and we were all very satisfied. Top quality food, friendly and attentive staff. I would definitely return.

Wow. 20 years I've been coming here and never had a bad meal. The food is truly exquisite with perfectly balanced flavours, interesting combinations and always beautifully presented. My recommendation is go midweek for the £16 2 course menu. Great value. I am an ex chef and ex mystery shopper so am exceptionally hard to please- I flipping love the food here. Go try it. Firstly the food at La Rue is absolutely delicious also the prices are very reasonable . The house red is decent and well priced . I had black pudding with rosti , poached egg and bacon everything cooked really well . For my main I had a rate fillet steak done just right . A couple of mushrooms and a handful of chips and what I believe was home made pepper sauce . We will be back and I recommend you pay La Rue a visit .

What a gem this place is. Lovely inside with friendly staff. As for the food, it is top quality. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.

Went for the first time with my wife. What can I apart from a great food experience. Great service, food was excellent plenty to choose from and will be back again to try something different.

Beautiful meal enjoyed by all 5 of us but a tad disappointed by the bill when we realized the g&ts we had been happily quaffing were £10 each. We had asked the price of gin and was given a price of £6|7 which we thought was par for a restaurant so £3 on top for tonic was way overtop. We will return for the delicious food but not gin.
