We've
been
coming
to
this
place
for
years,
and
before
COVID,
have
had
great
food
and
service.
However
since
the
new
owner
(which
I
believe
to
be
the
son
of
the
previous
owner),
the
quality
and
service
has
gone
downhill.
We
went
today
after
a
very
long
time
and
were
thoroughly
disappointed.
Our
fish
was
freshly
cooked,
but
the
chips
were
not
fully
done.
However
we
decided
to
not
inform
them
of
this
as
they
were
busy
with
other
customers,
and
it
was
near
closing
time.
At
the
end
of
our
dinner,
my
son
went
to
politely
inform
the
chef
(owner)
that
the
chips
were
undercooked
and
they
had
ice
within
them.
The
cook
and
waitress
then
told
us
the
chips
were
not
frozen
when
stored,
and
that
they've
never
used
frozen
chips.
Whether
they
do,
or
do
not,
does
not
matter.
My
son
simply
told
them
as
a
way
to
inform
them
of
the
food,
for
any
future
customers;
he
did
not
go
to
them
and
complain.
They
proceeded
to
tell
us
that
we
had
previously
left
a
"nasty
comment"
on
their
reviews.
This
is
simply
not
true,
as
we
used
to
be
a
regular
customer.
We
told
them
of
this,
and
they
became
aggressive.
They
kept
saying
you
should
have
told
us
earlier
(though
we
only
wanted
to
inform
them
of
the
matter)
while
repeatedly
telling
us
to
leave(
it
was
exactly
the
closing
time
off
6:30pm)
They
also
kept
repeating
how
no
customers
have
complained
before,
though
this
is
not
true,
evident
by
the
reviews
on
Google.
As
we
were
talking
to
them
at
the
doorway,
the
waitress
shut
the
door
on
me
causing
me
to
trip
over.
This
is
really
a
shame
as
the
quality
and
service
has
not
been
upheld
(especially
across
to
the
new
owner)
As
a
person
looking
to
eat
here,
I
urge
you
to
look
at
how
the
owner
responds
to
previous
feedback.
It
will
give
you
a
good
picture
as
to
how
the
service
is.

owner,
I
look
forward
