The Best Italian in Yorkshire! Tremendous food, and fantastic drinks selection. I can not argue with any of it, after visiting regularly since they opened i have never sent a meal back. Lovely atmosphere, with attentive and super friendly staff, as well as the owner too. Christmas Day is also a delight as well with a traditional service. 5 stars!

Great place to hold a celebration as the venue is spacious, very comfortable and warm. The food is delicious, hot and the mains dish leaves you satisfied with just enough room for a desert.

Well where do I start... the food amazing, the staff amazing, the service from start to finish absolutely outstanding.... we booked seats about 1 week ago for a party of 20 and since had to change the number of people upto 30 everytime we called to add people the staff have always been polite and accommodating, when we arrived we had a short wait for our tables to be arranged ( we arrived early ) and while we waited a staff member took our drinks orders and brought them out to the seating area for us. After we was seated food orders was taken food came quickly and was absolutely amazing 👏 I can't recommend aldos enough I will most certainly be going again in the future for both family meals and party's...... well done to all the staff if there was an option for 6 stars this would be my first

We had a family meal (32 of us!) for our son's 18th birthday at the weekend and everything was amazing. We'd booked the marquee which looked lovely and was well heated. Having pre-ordered, the food came out at the same time which meant nobody was waiting too long to be served and the food was hot and tasty. The atmosphere was great and we've had lots of positive comments from our guests. Thanks to everyone at Aldos for making the occasion so special.

Wonderful evening dining in the marquee. Delicious starters with lots of choice. Calamari was filling and well presented. The house pizza was so good we brought home some for our lunch tomorrow! Service was excellent and staff made us very welcome.

Lively place with excellent staff. We received our drinks very soon after arriving and then when we were ready the order was taken promptly. The food was lovely, beware of the size of the mixed meat starter though, it is really for two people. My steak was exactly at medium rare and my wife's chicken meal was perfectly cooked. Hilarious when they came and sang happy birthday to my wife - it really made her night. Top class and I can't wait to go again, thank you Aldo's.

Having spent many a happy meal at Aldo's previous family restaurant, 'The Ital', over the years, I wondered whether his current venture would measure up. I'm happy to say the same family friendly vibe was still in evidence, as was Aldo walking round the restaurant chatting with customers, taking orders and getting stuck in as any proud owner should do when their name is above the door! All in all a great meal with helpful and friendly staff who cared about their customers and made sure everyone was having a nice time!

Food was amazing, no faults at all. Service was a different matter. Inattentive, rude and moody, we walked in to be ignored by the front of house. The drinks order was taken by a miserable member of staff who looked like he didn’t want to be there. There was a female waitress who was rude to me but pleasant towards my husband, I didn’t notice it at first but my husband picked up on it and wanted to leave at that point. Aldo was very kind but his staff need reevaluating. If you don’t like your job, don’t work there

i came here with my boyfriend on our anniversary expecting a romantic evening with good customer service and a peaceful atmosphere, but got the complete opposite. they made us wait for around 10 minutes just to be seated, we were sat right in the middle even though we asked to be seated close to a window. they expected us to order straight away but then took time to bring us our food. food wasn’t great either, they served us 5 meatballs and filled the plate with salad making it look full.

Me and my partner Hired Aldos Marquee for our sons christening/dedication party on Saturday. It was fantastic on every level. Aldo ,Robyn and team couldn't do enough for us. Also it was very child friendly. The food was excellent especially the spicey calzone. Thanks again we will be back very soon.x

Aldo has been continually improving on all fronts. Tonight was no exception. Since he extended the premises the ambiance is second to none. The lamb shank fell of the bone and was delicious. The team make me feel like an old friend. It is top value for money. Long may it continue. Last week my Pollo Crema (My usual choice was perfect)

Briliant service, food amazing and the staff very attentive.👍😊 Fairly priced too.👍 Only issue is parking. However you can park a bit further down Harrogate Road only a short walk away. So please don't let this put you off otherwise you will be missing out 👀 Definitely returning 💯

Visited Aldo's Italian restaurant for the first time last night, Wednesday, with husband and family for a 40th Birthday dinner with entertainment.. enjoyable experience. Food was good, and a fair selection of Desserts. Great entertainment with a Michael Bub'le tribute act, singing & dancing. Food & Drinks the average price.. friendly accommodating staff. Cosy atmosphere, adequate table seating, great place for party's. Clean toilets. Car park at rear with adequate parking spaces. Will definitely visit again!

Our first time at the newly refurbished Aldo’s and all I can say is WOW! The decor is classy and upmarket, with tables for small and large parties. The staff are all smart in appearance and very welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. The food was tasty and well presented, and portions are generous in size. Well done to Aldo and his team - only one thing to maybe have a look at - when ordering drinks before eating can these be added to the bill rather than paying separately??

Took some friends last night the restaurant has had amazing refurbishment. The food was outstanding, staff are extremely helpful and the atmosphere is warm and friendly. Excellent value for money. Aldo you should be very proud of what you have achieved this is one of the best restaurants around.

Celebration meal. Excellent range of dishes on menu. Delicious fish especially the Cod served on a bed of sweet potato. Attentive but unobtrusive staff. Throughly enjoyable evening.

Good food, good portion sizes, reasonably priced. The staff are friendly and helpful. My only criticism is it took a while for someone to take our order.

Great place with a traditional Italian atmosphere, friendly staff and Aldo is usually around to check everything is ok. The food is really good and reasonably priced, pizzas are great value but the steaks are fantastic and always cooked perfectly. Would recommend for any day of the week and particularly for a celebration as the service is great and they go that extra mile to make sure everybody enjoys themselves.

I had a fantastic birthday night here last Thursday. Food was excellent, brilliant having a vegan menu and the vegan cheesecake was delicious. The staff gave the best service, even though they were so busy with other birthday celebrations. Aldo’s you are the best and credit to your staff.

8 of us went last night the food was absolutely Beautiful. Excellent value for money. Bit weird to walk into to as u go round back but set out lovely when in. The staff at the beginning of the night amazing. I don't know what happend but towards the end service was not as good.i don't know if short staffed or some work harder than others but such a shame . We still left a tip and would go back and would highly recommend. Thank you for a beautiful meal.
