Fat Friday again folks and we were able to eat out, instead of taking away 😁 We chose this place for its rooftop dining area, lucky for us, the weather was ace, sunshine and 18c! You have to wear face masks as you enter the building, we then walked up to the Rooftop Cafe floor, there is a small lift, but we didnt use it. The staff who greeted us were friendly and helped with the menu he let us choose a table in the sun with a really nice view of the cathedral too. We ordered a battered fish on flatbread and a chicken wrap, they both came with salad, but chips cost extra, only 90p I think. We ordered 2 soft drinks too, they do San Pellagrino here, which is my favourite soft drink brand πŸ‘Œ Service was good food was good, prices are not bad, I think it cost around Β£16 for 2. Location is perfect, especially in the sun, parking, obviously will need planning as it's in the city centre. They actually serve some beers and wine here, so might pop back in for that some day after work. I'll definitely come back for lunch and I highly recommend this hidden gem πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘Œ

Stopped in for breakfast when it opened at 9am, we were seated immediately and offered drinks which arrived rapidly. Ordered omelettes and the full English, I was very impressed with the locally sourced meat and the overall quality of the food. My companions felt their omelettes were amongst the best they'd ever had. The location is convenient, peaceful and unique. Top marks for service, quality, price and location. 100% will return regularly.

What a wonderful welcome by all staff members, friendly and inviting. There is a large variety of menu options including a good childrens menu. The cafe itself feels relaxed and open, with a lovely and usual view of part of the catherdral and gardens. There is some local merchandise eg bradford tea towels and pictures too. My beetroot, humous and pepper hot sandwhich was very tasty and a good salad too. My husband was very happy with his kebab sandwich (from the specials). Also there are some Nov and Dec Christmas special group bookings although get booked now as places are going fast. Just a stones throw away from the Broadway shopping centre, this is more than worth a visit.

This was a great find I heard good reviews so wanted to see for myself. I took my Dad and we had breakfast which was delicious. The staff was so friendly & nothing was too much trouble . Wonderful surroundings & views of the cathedral. I will most definitely be going back I was not disappointed

Fantastic cafe, well worth seeking out. It looks like a bit of a climb, but a lift is available. Great value freshly-made food and drink, with a close-up view of the Cathedral and surrounding industrial heritage buildings of Little Germany. Sit in the airy interior or on one of the outside balconies. Definitely recommended.

Went in the waiter at the till said we can have cake and drink and then another man in formal clothes came a few seconds later and told us we can’t have anything and rudely told us to leave, why be rude we didn’t even sit down and there were still several customers in the restaurant? Never went back and won’t do. Absolutely do not recommend this horrible restaurant with awful attitude towards customers by the second man (probably the manager not sure).

Lovely Cafe. Very nice food and reasonably priced. Unusual and pleasant location. I have been lots of times now since my original review and I have always received excellent service which is why I keep going back.

Had two pots of tea in this open, airy space with table service. Seats with a great view of Cathedral. VERY friendly staff and service!

Don’t do it! I was recommended to try this cafe and yet had the most dreadful experience. The coffee was burnt, meaning the extraction time was too long but I was told that β€œthat’s how it is!” Clearly the man is not a barista. I ordered the hot beef sandwich, which was tepid and so tough that I couldn’t cut it with the knife provided. The pot of gravy was like glue. My guest quite enjoyed her chicken and chorizo bagel, saying the bagel itself was tasty. We also shared nachos with beef chilli which was very greasy and had clearly been under the heat lamp too long. Overall a very poor experience.

Lovely hidden gem in the city, freshly made food, reasonable prices, we sat outside with a view of the cathedral. I've lived in Bradford for 48 years and it's the first time I've been, definitely not the last

Coffee roasted in Howarth, fruit and veg from St James market and fish from east coast. Even the ale is local (Ilkley). Great spot for a wonderful roof top lunchtime snack. Views of the cathedral along with a lot of trees. Perfect.
