Just been to baildon fisheries my fish and chips were cooked fresh but my fish was disgusting i have a pic of it I am not one to moan but i feel on this occasion i need too Seen your reply so i have put the picture up so you can see it if you think this is ok you need to go to specsavers

Been a regular here for years. Changed hands many times. Current owners as November 2022 seem efficient but quality has gone down while price has gone up about 30%. Fish is now made to order, which during a limited lunch break is an unwelcome few minutes of standing about. Several wasted hours per year! Also the fish has been "soggy" recently. An issue with freezing/thawing? Quality? Finally, the previous owners habit of including a few chips gratis on a fish butty was a very welcome policy that has not been continued...

Walked in no queue, friendly welcome, placed order of just over £12, paid. Then stood for nearly 15 minutes while they fulfilled telephone orders. Sort your system out !! I will not be returning. Fish and chips ok but not brilliant, better at Otley Road.

It's great news that the Baildon Fish & Chips shop has relocated and reopened. Definitely the best in the area.

I live abroad so always look forward to fish and chips when back visiting family, and our takeaway from Baildon Fisheries last night didn't disappoint. I had the light meal, small fish and small chips, which was fab, great portion size and very tasty. Parents had fish and a cake, and we all shared mushy peas and curry sauce. It was all superb, thank you.

Great fish and chips and great service. They cook to order so its hot and fresh for you. I ordered on arrival and only had to wait a few minutes for it to be ready (3 fish, 2 chips, curry sauce, peas). I asked for a light batter on the fish and it was perfect. Friendly staff. Will definitely be back!

Work around the corner from these guys, don't often get fast food in general but whenever I've given in to the temptation always been very happy with their food! Also great staff 👍

First visit of many today. Really good Fish and Chips and super friendly people. I was even offered some free curry sauce or peas. Ignore opening times on google search. It says open only Thursday and Friday but I have found it is open most evenings. Cheaper than top of Baildon chippies also. Highly recommend.

I have reviewed this takeaway before but decided to revise it today. I went in on a whim to buy an easy tea for my family and gave some special requests as it was not very busy. The fryer not only happily delivered on my requests but also chatted to me as to merits of different types of cooking and even quizzed me a little on my food knowledge. The fish was beautifully crisp on the outside and soft and flaky on the inside. The chips were divine- and I do not use that word easily!!! They were thick, firm on the outside yet fluffy inside. Easily one of the best I have had in recent memories. Some suggestions for the future- they provide some excellent eco boxes to takeaway so as to reduce landfill waste but the forks are plastic so maybe lose the forks.The tartare was too thick to really compliment the fish. Overall I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this takeaway. I would make a special trip here because I do not eat this type of food very often any more but when I do, I will be COMING HERE!

Just had fish & chips from Charlestown Fisheries , absolutely beautiful , thick succulent fish , always delicious from you wouldn’t go anywhere else and , excellent value . Thank you once again for a lovely tea

Brilliant fish and chips, flaky fish and crispy batter. Much enjoyed after performing in a brass band carol service.

Nothing is ever too much, even phoning to check I can order ten mins before closing as I’m greedy and just needed fish and chips! Lee and his team are all so polite and the service is next to none, the food is always fresh,delicious and piping hot, I will always recommend and would not deter from Baildon Fisheries! Have used for many years and will continue to use for many years! One of the very few places I can honestly say I’ve never had any bad experience. What’s more outstanding with Baildon Fisheries is their services during the pandemic and still serving many families in timely manners. Superstars!!!!

I never leave google reviews but the fish and chips we've had from here recently have been so nice, really good big chunky haddock and light crispy batter - so good I felt compelled to leave a review!

I cannot praise the owners of this Fish and Chip Shop enough. Formerly Baildon Fisheries. The food ia always spot on, as is the service. They go above an beyond to serve their local community. I used to occasionally use Charlestown Fisheries under the previous ownership and I regularly used Baildon Fisheries. It's great news that Lee and Jenny and team are back delivering top notch grub to Baildon and the surrounding area. We had a large delivery this weekend with family round, and everyone was very happy with what they got. We will definitely be ordering again before long.

They are only open for a couple of hours on an evening. So you have to go early. They never fail to impress. Beautiful flaky fish and crispy batter. They also give a discount if you pay cash. But happily take card payments too

Went today to collect a online order for the first time.. what can I say … Absolutely beautiful fish and chips and battered sausage !! Very good prompt service and friendly staff 😊👍 would highly recommend this place.. we will be going again 😁😁

Called and ordered the easiest order fish chip sausage curry sauce. Got home no sausage. Chips only nearly cooked. Curry sauce that thick I couldn't pour from tub and to top it off clap cold. What's happened to this fish shop. Total rubbish for good money paid. Thrown in bin.

We received our order today granted it arrived just after 5pm having made a preorder at 3:30pm. When we received them they were just warm!. We were very disappointed with our order this time sorry to say.

Last week,when the power supply had been outed by the storm.we sent out for fish and chips,they were delivered and arrived hot and crisp,and were a taste sensation! So thank you for that.So impressed was I,that I wanted to try Baildon Fisheries again just to be sure they were as good as I thought they were.They were not ! If anything they were even better,so congratulations to you, and very well done.

Only had a bag of chips when passing on a 'lockdown walk'. They were bloody gorgeous. Chunky Chips! Very friendly people there too. I will return as they do a lot more than fish and chips.

Lovely food, and the cheapest chippy around

Jumbo fish served in an unnecessary carton tray. Cost £5.20. An expensive lunch. Worked in the area for 12 years so far. Despite lovely fish, and friendly staff. Can't afford to pay this for one lunch. Doubt I will return to buy another lunch
