Lovely room, basic but adequate. Very clean .Lovely staff. Superb breakfast. Alhambra theatre , media museum , ice rink and town centre all just a few minutes walk. Two train stations within walking distance . No free parking but covered, secure 24 hour parking available to rear of hotel. Very highly recommend a stay here.

Functional and very much in the centre of Bradford for ease of access. Clearly trying to be high-end, with free grapefruit water at reception and a focus on sustainability. However some issues with the basis, like there being damp in the bathroom and stained carpets. Claims to offer 24 room service, but when I tried to order from the night menu I was told I needed to wait 45 minutes for the kitchen to reopen, and then that most of the limited menu was unavailable. Passable, but must be better options in Bradford.

Always a pleasure staying in this hotel. It is a good location with fantastic rooms and a great restaurant. The beds are so so comfortable you don't want to get out

I’m on day 3 of a 5 day stay and I just want to go home! The room is nice but sleep is difficult, people congregate on seats at the side of the hotel and talk to 4am and not quietly and there is a horrible hum that just does not stop, no idea where it comes from but OMG! The food is not even average, chicken first night was way over cooked and coleslaw was just nasty! Second evening was prawns in a sauce clearly out of a jar and didn’t even come with rice and cost £16, I asked for butter and got margarine. The few staff that make the effort to communicate are pleasant but breakfast was not even laid up despite being at least 5 or 6 staff hanging around. Am sure there are better hotels around here.

Visited overnight during a coach trip.. Quite average really, nothing particularly good, or particularly bad.. Room was clean but needed updating, torn curtains and broken seals on shower door, average choice of food at both dinner and breakfast, noisy location due to traffic and people outside shouting and arguing..... friendly and professional staff, special thanks to Joseph in the dining room, and Amy behind the bar. Overall, would have expected more from Leoardo's... Not a patch on their sister hotel in Sheffield where I stayed 4 months ago. Wouldn't stay here through choice.

Great inexpensive hotel. Massive double bed in the room. Iron and ironing board in room as well as a hairdryer. Located in the centre of Bradford so not far to walk for food or pubs. There is a 24 hour car park behind the hotel. If you present your car parking ticket to reception you will get a 20 percent deduction on parking charges

Drinks expensive. Two pints of lager one gin and tonic one fresh orange juice with lemonade £21.00 Rooms nice no bathmat ask at reception if you require one. Meal very poor and service a shambles.

Not as nice as other jury’s inns I have stayed at. Looks quite run down/ missing modern amenities. Last premier inn I stayed in had better hair dryers/ TV’s etc. Breakfast was ok but hard to find someone to order specific items from (I.E veggie sausages) and expensive in comparison to local breakfasts.

Breakfast was terrible. Pastries were hard as rocks and obviously a few days old. Poached eggs were raw on the inside and I don't just mean the yellows. A door near my room kept banging shut every few minutes from around 5am. The staff was nice enough. Location would have been good if it wasn't currently facing a noisy construction site.

Really nice hotel. Very clean. Lovely comfy beds. Nice linens, towels. Staff brilliant. Food average. What you wud expect on a coach trip l. At least it was hot. Breakfast good. Nothing was a trouble. Thank you.

Was an alright evening, can hear neighbours slamming doors / in the hall way. Rooms not very quiet. Great staff, though breakfast was a tad sad - standard buffet but covered up with horrid plastic tops. Nothing wrong with cleanliness and seemed really safe - just not a good night's sleep and that's what you're paying for ..... Right?

The hotel is easy to locate. Easy booking and checking online and at the reception. I had to cancel and erroneous booking and refund came through without any hassles in two days. The reception staff was pleasant. Check in was easy. The rooms were quite dated but clean. Nothing fanciful even though the hotel is listed as few 4 star hotel. Small TV for a family room, no mini fridge but the air conditioning worked which was the main reason for booking the room.

Really good quality for price really clean nice quality bedding and really comfy bed . The shower was really hot and powerful just whst you need and tv had free satellite channels . £27 for 1 night a bargain too literally cheaper than staying home and putting heat on

Very clean. The room looked freshly revamped. Full English breakfast was included in a very reasonable price. TV was limited to terrestrial channels.

Nice, welcoming, and clean hotel, very close to the city center. Comfy bed. Breakfast was good with a decent amount of choices available.

I asked for a quiet room. It would have been except for the very loud buzzing noise coming out of the ceiling grate panel close to the bathroom door! It was a disabled friendly bathroom - the sink was tiny! How are people with limited movement supposed to use it let alone people without disabilities?! Not the cleanest of rooms/bathroom. Tiny TV - they have the wall space to mount a 43inch/50 inch TV. Bed was comfy. There's a reason why the prices are keen at this hotel!

Great Hotel! I’ve stayed here 4 times now and i’ve never had any issues at all. The rooms are always really clean and the beds are very comfortable. The staff are lovely and friendly. And it’s in a great location. They also discount your parking ticket by 20% (at the multi-story behind) which is great too.

Very tired rooms, and sullen service at reception -- not even told there was an option for breakfast or a bar or anything or checkous time. Literally just 'Name? Do you have a vehicle?Your room is here.' I had a beautiful view of the concrete car park and a tiny tiny TV. Bathrooms were grim with stained grout and watermarked taps. Location is very convenient for Bradford train stations and the interchange however.

Poor service from male staff member attendance at reception, wasn't very kind with his choice of words by taking certain things negatively with his personal own issues. Any job specially if you work in a Hotel you know guests are coming to have a relaxed/peaceful time. No matter how you feel, as a staff you've got to deliver your service properly not throwing an emotional baggage at them as soon as they arrive. Blessed it be

I had a very nice experience, the hotel per night was cheap, the rooms were quite large enough, the rooms had everything in it. It's like a self service system. The rooms had pressing iron and ironing board, extra mobile heater. Nice room well decorated and designed with good bedding. The hotel rooms had the same looks and standards with one ibis hotel in dubai with additional values as listed above. It's tries to meet up with the world class hotels. But the only thing I never like was the room cleaners coming straight at my door knocking so hard to tell me, if they could clean my room. I was very displeased.

Why this hotel is a 4 star is a mystery to me! Evening meal was absolutely chaotic! The menu was extremely poor. The chicken was so overdone we couldn't eat it! The fish was also overcooked! That left us with vegetarian Chilli..no thanks. Our dinner was chips and vegetables. No gravy, no vinegar. No salt. We had a jug of water but no glasses. The dining area is far too small for all the coaches that arrive! Breakfast was better, fry up, nothing great, just filled us up as hungry from night before. Rooms are fine but had winter duvets on beds in August! I know there is Air con but they were far too heavy, not even a top sheet if you wanted to kick duvet off! Staff completely inexperienced to deal with so many visitors, you could see they were finding it difficult. Won't be back.

I was alarmed at the lack of urgency in dealing with a very real hazard. We stayed overnight in room 703 on 21st July. My daughter had washed her hair and went to use the hotel Hairdryer, upon picking up the Hairdryer she found that it rattled, so something was obviously loose inside it, believing that the hotel (4 star!) would not allow faulty equipment to be left in the room she switched it on. Immediately it started to spark and crackle leaving a burning smell which we were surprised did not set off the smoke alarm. We switched it off and opened the window, on closer inspection the body of the Hairdryer was damaged and there was melted plastic on the nozzle. I went down to the reception to report the problem. There were two staff on duty, I informed them that there was a problem with the Hairdryer and what happened, giving my room number, they looked at each other then told me that they would send someone up, writing the room number on a scrap of paper, this was at 22:10. I asked about a replacement Hairdryer which they said they would sort that out for me. I went back to the room and waited, after an hour we decided that they meant as soon as possible/in the morning. We had breakfast downstairs in the restaurant at 06:30, a good selection, but the cooked food was warm, not hot. We got ready to go to my daughters graduation, but still no replacement or anyone visiting the room. When we returned from the ceremony at lunchtime we found that the room cards did not work even though we had paid for a later checkout (when we checked in there were no bottles of water or biscuits that came with the late checkout, and only two cups for a 3 person occupancy, the reception managed to sort this out whilst we were out for a meal and gave us a free drink at the bar) To say that the hotel is a 4 star is a stretch, the room was not prepared for three occupants, the furniture was worn with nail varnish on the table and the top of the fabric chair was very worn/threadbare, no attention to the later checkout with key cards. The only thing that was a plus was the central location, but this was let down by the lack of parking. There was an NCP car park which the hotel gave discount on overnight parking. I do not think that we will be staying at this Jurys Inn or any of their other hotels anytime soon, very disappointed...

We arrive and the reception was very rude, gave me my card not even mentioned about breakfast timing or room or even where the lift was. Room was very basic and old fashioned. Bed was okay , room telephone didn’t work. Lighting in room was very poor had to many light lamps instead of ceiling light. We left to go out to eat and the 2 reception ladies where very nice and helpful didn’t take there name. Breakfast was basic Couldn’t sleep much at night to much banging doors. The corridor smell of smoke even though we where in a non smoking area. Wouldn’t go back again,

No blanket on bed or in the room when arrived. Bottom sheet not on properly. Cigarette butt in the toilet. Dirty around the shower. Went to reception to ask where the blanket was . They apologized and had someone send it up. When I opened the door he just tried to give me the bedding but I opened door thinking he would make the bed ..he finally came in and thew blanket and bedding on the bed and.left making me have to do it. Then the hotel was noisy all night on top of it. I travel a lot and this is the first time I didn't have needing and was expected to make my own bed. It feels like a hostel at best. They need new staff here who actually have some level of care.

Very poor and rudely customer services, there was no parking facilities, no porter to help even there wasn't any baggage trolley, no disabled person facilities, the sleepery bathroom tub hasn't place non sleep mat, to request for one asked to come and collect from reception. I do not recommend this hotel has comfort staying or helpful receptionist.

Excellent value for money. Clean and tidy rooms with large beds. Grohe taps and shower. 3 star hotel and I also rate it 3 star as was not impressed with check in - initially felt ignored and then when being checked in, a long silence while staff member was engrossed with computer screen - perhaps software is hard to use...

The staff were so welcoming and the proximity to the gig I attended was superb. The room was immaculate but freezing on arrival and gave up trying to operate the heating system. Asked for this to be sorted while I wasn’t in the room but that didn’t happen. The bed was far too hard and the pillows were lumpy but there was no overnight noise so I did get some sleep. Stay here if it’s the cheapest option or if you’re staying in summer

Rooms were large and cozy. Although the room cleaning was on request due to COVID. Breakfast was basic but decent. Staff were friendly and helpful

Went with Caledonian travel the hotel rooms were fine, the staff fine, the dinner nearly every plate of food was not eaten. Breakfast was fine. That's the worst chicken it was inedible. And really? A basic cook can do a piece of chicken. Also potatoes hard the carrot and broccoli again nearly raw. Sorry but it was awful.

Decent clean hotel, good location and room that was fit for purpose. Tiny bathroom with poor air con and windows that don't open made for a poor night's sleep and the restaurant was closed despite it being a weekend. Having said that, the breakfast was exceptional and the staff members were very friendly and helpful. Would recommend as a great base if you are adventuring in the area.

Rooms clean and tidy. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Food selection was good so never went hungry. bar prices were a little steep but is city centre. Will use again if I need accommodation in this area .

Nice hotel and room was decent. The hairdryer wasn't working and it took three visits to the reception area and nearly an hour to get a replacement! This was not ideal when you're going to a concert and it makes you extremely late! No real attempt at an apology either.

Lovely and Helpful staff and rooms were well presented and everything I needed. However The dinner menu was very expensive for what you receive. Having arrived late I didn’t have a lot of choice but A half chicken and fries was £16.50 which is extortion.

The property was reasonably priced and was available at short notice. Check in and out was easy. The bar was open to 1am which helped when arriving from a late dinner. Sadly the hotel services were far from acceptable. The kettle was full of brown residue, the curtain was ripped, the bath didn't drain after a shower, the ironing board was covered with a single thin cover and housekeeping did not clean our room. I can go on and on. Had to call reception on 5 occasions, 3 was to chase the previous request. I had to ask for the room to be cleaned at 8pm after arriving back in the room from a day out in Leeds. Wine served in a dirty glass on the first night. I will never book a room in this hotel again. It may have been reasonably priced but I'd rather pay more and stay in a hotel where they, at least, clean the rooms.

British hotels are always a bit shabby compared to the rest of the developed world, but this place has a secret policy that AC that turns itself off every 2 hours without telling you why, our long, awkward room had one tiny light and they didn't want to loan us a lamp, then there was a power short in the "you have to put your card key in to have power in the room" slot so we had to use the toilet and shower in complete darkness until it was repaired. Then the repairman walked off with one of our keys. In other ways the rooms are above par for the area, with high ceilings and decent towels and shower pressure. Still, not a good first 12 hours.

  • 3/5 Derek O. 1 year ago on Google
Quite dated. I’m sure it used to be lovely once. It was comfortable and quiet though. Room’s could do with an update and they need to do some basic maintenance so door handles don’t come off in your hand etc.

Booked this hotel for a night stop over, honestly speaking, after reading few of the Google reviews, I wanted to change the hotel. As we a bad experience with another hotel just a night before, but my husband suggested we stick to the hotel since it's close to the location we need to visit. Glad we did not change the hotel, the staff, the rooms, service everything was amazing. We did not use much of the hotel facilities since we were only there for a night, but the experience in regards to customer service, and clean rooms with everything available in the room from (tea coffee tray, to iron/ iron board, hair dryer, clean bathroom with clean towels, shampoo conditioner, clean sheets everything was very impressive specially after some negative Google reviews.

  • 4/5 Mustafa K. 1 year ago on Google
An amazing hotel. The rooms were quite big and spacious. The rooms had AC but was useless. Everything was clean. The issue was our rooms were far. I mean literally on different floors. I had booked 4 rooms and was given 2 in 2nd floor, 1 in 3rd floor and 1 in 7th floor. All this was due to the different types of rooms.

Rooms are clean and tidy. Staff very helpful. I have visited this hotel a couple of time and I find it unusual that the bar closes early and regularly has numerous drinks unavailable

We were there for a film weekend and the location of the hotel was just right for the screenings at the National Media & Science Museum. Breakfast was fine but dinner was a bit shambolic with half of the wine list missing and big gaps in the food menu. Other than that it suited our purpose for a three night stay..

Rooms shabby and mouldy areas in bathroom. Heating takes too long to come on to warm the room. Communal areas nice and in good order. Lot of items on restaurant menu not available and pretty poor quality. Bar ran out of gin! Staff not very organised or experienced. Breakfast was very good....large selection of good quality ingredients. Staff very pleasant and well organised.

First time I stayed here was 10 years ago. Lovely hotel. Stayed again 2 weeks ago and it was still great. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Bedding crisp and clean. Meals were really enjoyable. Staff friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.
