called
direct
to
book
family
room
and
then
had
to
call
back
to
change
room
as
my
mum
can't
manage
stairs
well
and
original
room
was
top
floor.
When
we
arrived
we
were
still
allocated
top
floor
room
(which
was
massive,
had
four
poster
and
was
stunning!)
but
staff
were
more
than
happy
to
prepare
other
room
as
luckily
it
wasn't
booked
out
or
occupied.
Price
I
was
expecting
was
increased
as
was
told
I
hadn't
mentioned
the
2
year
old
and
the
dogs
despite
knowing
I
had
done
so.
Agreed
to
only
increase
price
by
£10
rather
than
£20.
I
did
not
send
or
receive
a
booking
confirmation
which
I
should
have
and
would
request
next
time.
New
room
was
clean,
beds
were
comfy
and
the
breakfast
(included
in
price)
was
fantastic.
Dogs
not
allowed
in
restaurant
(obviously)
so
they
set
us
up
for
breakfast
in
the
bar.
The
property
and
location
are
beautiful,
the
room
was
great
and
the
staff
were
apologetic,
professional
and
friendly
which
is
why
I
have
have
still
given
5
stars
despite
the
booking
issues.
Would
definitely
stay
here
again!
