👍👍 Brilliant lake, large car park, on site tackle shop with Nash gear and bait, the cleanest and most modern toilet (and shower!) I've personally come across. All paths are top quality and are well maintained - you can tell the owners have invested and look after their fisherie. Will defenitley be goin... People often mention fish, lake, great,

Brilliant lake, large car park, on site tackle shop with Nash gear and bait, the cleanest and most modern toilet (and shower!) I've personally come across. All paths are top quality and are well maintained - you can tell the owners have invested and look after their fisherie. Will defenitley be going back. My son caught two nice carp on a quick 24 hour which was great for the first time visiting. Owner very helpful aswell - drinking water is provided on site, large bins are provided, unhooking mats, landing nets and slings also provided!! - Class lake! 👌

Very clean and very well maintained fishery with state of the Art on site facilities..great staff alongside a great restaurant and food... A real shame the best water onsite and possibly the northwest for carp has become a syndicate water...going from having promise for all to enjoy too been a place for the elitists to fish undisturbed by the everyday carp angler.

Information is misleading, website states open 7.30am so set off from Manchester to arrive for opening. Gates shut until 8.30, stated fishing times 9 until 9 we get to lake only 2 pegs free ask what time they will be leaving and told 12pm so that's a 4 hour wait if you want one of their swims. States cafe on site doesn't tell you that it's shut until new year, luckily quick search on internet turned up an excellent Chinese that delivered Redluck well worth it fast and food was lovely. Fishing wasn't good didn't see or hear any movement at all, peg numbers don't match the map depths seem to be inaccurate this makes it difficult to find the deeper water as I would be looking for at this time of year any how's don't always expect to catch. Pegs are very Rocky very hard to get your pegs to hold and you need a hammer ended up collecting rocks to hold one side of bivvy down as pegs just would not hold. Shane really as it looks good on a positive they have the best anglers toilet I have ever been in.

If you're not on syndicate. You get offered the pastie pits. Ridiculous at 30 pounds. A club card works out cheaper also access to bigger fish.

Fantastic facilities in which are set in a beautiful location, shower and toilet + shop all on site. I am more of a novice angler and I have not catched as of yet however a more all rounded angler would probably catch in either lake. The fire pit was brilliant never experienced anything like it, all anglers socially having a bond and crack from all over the country was my highlight and I'll never forget it. I look forward to returning to this great complex, the lads are doing a smashing job.

Brilliant and fantastically well run fishery. For me the best carp fishery in the northwest. Wish the cafe was still open
