Worst restaurant experience in my life.! Firstly I ordered at the bar a breakfast. I was charged more than on the menu. I pointed it out to the guy behind the bar. He took the menu off me and ripped it up arrogantly in front of my face and said that was the old prices! (even though that was the menu in the tables). He then refused to honour the advertised price on the menu. The £13.49 breakfast arrived speedily. So speedily that the chef didn’t have time to cook the fried eggs and they were extremely uncooked. The server slammed my plate down with a look of hatred on her face. The bacon and beans were stone cold. Totally inedible. I then complained about the poor breakfast and the person I told just shrugged and walked off. No apology. No offer to put right or refund. Clearly all the staff here hate their job and customer service is not of any interest to them.

What a terrible experience. AVOID THIS PLACE ! We all know we are going to pay more for being a captive audience in an airport but this place is beyond belief. The ultimate breakfast with toast £13.48 ! Come on, how the hell can this price be justified ? You have to order the food from the bar from a grumpy, angry woman who not only hates her job also hates everyone who dares to disturb her trying to make an order. It was very quiet, not busy at all but the woman still managed to be rude to every person who approached her. I ordered a decaffeinated coffee, she informed me with a big sigh they didn't have any. I asked if they had ran out or did they not serve any, which she replied "well we ain't got any !" Followed by a grumpy man making your hot drinks and slamming them down infront of you. I had four drinks to carry & asked for a tray. You would have thought I had asked for something for free. When I finally got the tray It was so hard to say thank you to such a sour face but unlike him I have manners. RUDE STAFF & OVERPRICED THEY DONT DESERVE YOUR MONEY.

This place is the opposite of value for money. Cheesy chips and bacon nearly £7 yet portioned for a child. Average food, tiny portion sizes at ridiculous prices and sloppy nonchalant customer service. The staff probably endure customer frustration from the obvious profiteering. Poor show Saltaire at Leeds Bradford poor show

Ok so airport food is often overpriced but we were genuinely shocked at the dreadful value for money here. The 2 breakfasts and cups of tea came to £28 in total and the portions the absolute minimum. Single sausage, rasher and egg. Not even hot. Disappointing.

Gastropub??! 🤷😆 quit mugging people off. Absolute joke of an ‘establishment’. If you find depressed nature of the staff surprising, you too will quickly become depressed when you realise you’ve been robbed for £20 as soon as they put the food on your tray. Since when does a thinly packed bacon sarnie need a burger stick? Does the bun have aspirations beyond its feeble reality? Even one visit here to be parted with your hard earned cash for paltry food in return would be enough to salt a holiday before it even begins. It would be worth joining a lounge scheme, but you’ll be double struck with holiday blues when you see the sign telling you all lounges are shut on the day of your visit. What a total shambles. No excuses now since its been ages since covid and you’ve been raking it in. Please stop being thieves ✋

Cheesy chips that didn't include actual cheese!!!! Just a very thick cheese type sauce. Only highlight was the kids fish and chips! No vegetarian topping option for the chips. Only vegetarian chili served as a main overpriced meal!! Malibu and coke had to be returned as coke was flat. Probably wouldn't return!! Katsu chicken chips was okay. Hubby described as breaded chicken with chip shop curry on the top. Chips topped with bacon was very salty! Not brilliant.

So not worth the time and money. Overpriced poor service and terrible food Tuesday morning, which is not even half way through the week, and the only available breakfast was just a breakfast roll. The staff brought food, but no cutlery. The only thing we could taste was salt.

I ordered some food from Saltaire Bar & Kitchen at 14.49 Chk 282310586567 is the food order ref. The fish and chips came out at 15.03, but we still waited on the pie and chips meals. I observed these were sat waiting under the hot lamp until 15.17, due to waiting km gravy. To which there were brought out without gravy. We ate two mouthfuls, they were warm and not nice and no gravy. I would like a refund for the two pie meals please.

Nice to start holiday with a drink and food, like most airports all overpriced. Circa £5 for small portion of chips ! Can’t remember drinks price as quite used to it at places where choice is restricted. Wouldn’t have reviewed, but just seen this amongst holiday photos and it is poor!

The staff were overworked but managed to remain pleasant. Packed, noisy, slow, the sausage and mash was a thing of evil. Tasteless, not very warm, peas like bullets.

Definitely overpriced, no fish n chips when we went but cannot recommend their beef burgers either - burnt and dry overall, with old lettuce leaves, which gave a funny flavour, and no tomato or onion. Some old ketchup n HP bottles by the side, but not even mustard or mayo sauces. Two burgers with two beers comes up to nearly £50, think it should at least taste good! Bottle beers not cold either. Menu’s dirty, but do not order through the QR as many things might not be available. I wouldn’t come back

Nice breakfast to start the day. Obviously being in an airport the Saltaire is a busy place, but plenty atmosphere with a good range of food and drinks. The garden breakfast was really good but they had ran out of hash browns…fair play they swapped them for toast and a fried egg which I didn’t mind. It’s tricky for phone signal in here so quite difficult to get on the Order & Pay app, watch out for that if you are a solo traveller, although you can just order at the bar. All in all a good place for food and drinks once you get settled and order 👍

Its an airport bar, its expensive. We had a breakfast sandwich and it was really nice. I did have to remortgage the house, but it was very nice.

Not a good experience at all. Firstly, on the menu - an offer. Add chips to any lighter bite for £3. I ordered a croissant from lighter bites menu, still was charger £4.69 for chips. Secondly, croissant was RAW inside, sadly to the point where it was non edible at all. Pricey and disappointing. Do not recommend.

Exceptionally clean & inviting. Well organised and managed well. Staff very welcoming and friendly, especially Michelle who made us feel like our holiday had begun in the Saltaire. Easy to use the app for ordering food & drink. Thanks to all the staff, well done.

Cold food, clearly microwaved. Paid £73 for 2 burgers a bottle of Wine a pint. Wost food I've had in a pub in years. I could have gone to Millar and Carter and got MUCH better quality food and drink for £14 more. Disgrace that airports charge these prices for the most average of foods. If you want a burger go to Burger King on the way in... at least you know that's been microwaved. Terrible

Four people behind the bar, one other customer waiting. Took nearly five minutes to serve him with just one drink, then we stood waiting another minute with four staff chatting right in front of us. Drinks about 50% premium, no cask, despite three pumps. Tables dirty, even though it was very quiet. Rubbish on table when we arrived, and still there when we left. Had to wipe ketchup off the table ourselves. Floor around table has food droppings that are days old.

On Monday 28th August when the technical fault caused delays and cancellations, we were in the Saltaire Bar from 11am til 9pm. The staff did everything they could to look after us and Michelle in particular was fantastic! She had a smile on her face the whole day long and was compassionate with the older ladies sat near us who weren’t sure what was happening. You’ve got a good one there, Well done Michelle!
