Morrisons

Supermarket

🫤 This store is going downhill, the shelves are never fully restocked, many of them are over half empty, quite often you cannot get your usual basic food items at all. Their freezer cabinets are always leaking leaving wet floors. Gave up this week and went to the Guiseley store to do the main shop, no... People often mention staff, time, store,

What a miserable checkout experience, told not to pick a bag to buy from checkout, then not offered one so just used trolley to vehicle, no pleasantries at all, not even a thankyou...just a total miserable checkout man...I would say a robot would offer better service. Some work on customer service needed here Morrisons. 🙄

Some staff are absolutely lovely but 50 per cent of them are so rude. Try smiling from time to time. The deli counter in particular is a mine field, you feel like you’re a total inconvenience to the woman on there. I work in retail and my self manager wouldn’t tolerate an unwelcome attitude to customers. Also I think the managers/ team leaders should set an example, most of them are rude. Change your attitudes, Lidl is also coming and you lot need to step up

They don't re stock shelves often and staff are not really that helpfull,to add to my previous review me and my partner use Morrison's on a daily basis and have been doing so for her over a year and for her under a year have experienced poor customer service which include Mickey taking about my own disability regarding my fear of numbers I was trying to add up 69 x2 I understand for some thus is an easy task for me it was a big thing as I'm trying to do things for myself so I was counting on my fingers the lady on the till made a comment saying it isn't really that hard my partner then said she has a diagnosed fear of number she us dyslexic there was no apology she had went red and looked imbarrest, the staff are constantly making my partner feel like she's a criminal following her round whilst shopping looking in her bags hovering over her yes she is lesbian and yes she does look like a tomboy and yes she does wear tracksuit and trainers she has never stolen anything in her life and had never given reason for this behaviour, I witnessed this myself when we were shopping holding hands a staff member named Sally repeatedly gave disapproving stares and muttered something under her breath. And for 2 days in a row I've had the bold muscular security guard watch every move then followed to the self serve watched whilst scanning every item and even then when I'd finished paying walked behind us whilst leaving the store looking in to the bags he's her seen us scan pay for then pack this caused me to have a full in panic attack thus is not acceptable I feel like we are both been victimised and feel the staff are homophobic and lack in customer service skills the only staff member I have a good word for is Ruth thus lady us such a lovely person always polite and cheerful even when see is having to deal with abusive behaviour from customers

Around lunch time, you'd think they'd have the hot counter and salad bar stocked up... You'd be wrong... Hardly anything most of the time

Great supermarket I go there all the time, great prices and it's great. Morrisons cafe is also amazing, there's great food and great deals.

My first visit. A slightly smaller store but with everything I needed. Very friendly and helpful staff. Wonderful large cafe, clean, well staffed/stocked and even has a Barista Bar which can be accessed from the cafe area and the area behind the tills as you leave. Will become my local store of choice despite a 20 min car journey. UPDATE Still shopping here but since Covid ended, things have gone down. Severe lack of staff in all areas especially the Market Street sections with salad bar, pizza and deli having customers waiting so long they walk away. Today I nored the staff who were there were not wearing disposable gloves and the pizza guy was placing all the ingredients on with bare hands. Store needs a good shake up from management.

Cafe had no coffee. Ran out of sandwiches. Wait for food was half an hour. Store had run out of anything fresh. Cheese pasta salad was rancid. Coffee machine also broken. Staff indifferent. Terrible place, terrible stock control, terrible staff. Do not shop here.

Waste of time. Never any baskets, never any cooked chickens, counter is always empty. Fridge with all the raw chicken in has been leaking for about 10 years. Staff stand around do nothing and are rude. Last time I went in and asked about baskets, I asked one of the staff where the baskets were and she was too busy talking to someone that she responded “they are around….somewhere” and walked off. I have complained before to head office but they never responded

Unique building, great position in Yeadon and well-looked after. Back alley on Main Street is a bit sketchy but otherwise perfect. Also there's a bus stop.

Not enough staff. Not enough staffed checkouts. Not enough staff on self scan checkouts. Took longer to get through checkouts than shop. Needs to get it's act together

Everything is well layed out. Not enough staff though and bought some strawberry doughnuts but turned out to be labelled wrong and were actually custard ones.

The petrol station self service never seems to be able to give receipts. Five of the last six times I've not been able to get a record for my files. Poor.

It's okay, l like the fact that morrisons sell 'wonky' veg for reduced price but dislike the use of plastics on all the fresh produce. This goes for all supermarkets in general. The morrisons products on market street all seem to be decent and the price is fair and in-line with the other supermarkets. I would like to ser a little more worldwide food, like a little American section and some more Thai products as its growing in popularity and the bigger supermarkets are already reaping tje benefits.
