Had a family lunch here for 6 of us and we were looked after fantastically well. Mum is 94 and in a wheelchair but that was accommodated no problem. Food and service was spot on!

Really nice atmosphere and friendly service. It was quiet, but didn't feel empty. The food was good quality, and we didn't leave hungry. Reasonably priced. My only disappointment was the sharing Antipasti plate, which in my opinion had no where near enough food considering it was £8-9; tasty enough, but not enough substance (needs cheese, and maybe some more salad). We enjoyed our visit, and would go back.

First time I've been here and decided to bring some friends who are visiting from the states. Very cosy interior with lots of places to sit, staff was extremely friendly and interacted with my friends well. Food was quick to the table and was delicious. Yet to try a pint here but first impressions matter and this was a great experience.

Absolutely delicious food, incredible value for money, friendly staff, bit cold in the area with the fire which wasn't lit if you're not sat next to the radiator. I'd highly recommend this pub though to all my friends

Came here on a Tuesday night, didn’t expect it to be as busy as it was. Lovely cosy atmosphere, looked to only be 1 staff member serving food who patiently dealt with several complaints from tables around us, regarding how long we all had to wait for food. You could see he was working hard. Took over an hour for our starters to come which wasn’t ideal as we had a 2 year old to feed. Despite this, the food was good, just a little let down by the time it took to get the food. I wanted to order a dessert but by the time we’d had our starter and mains we’ve been there 2.5 hours and couldn’t wait any longer as needed to put toddler to bed.

Great pub, almost hidden away round the corner from the train station. Really friendly and welcoming atmosphere. I've been back a couple of times now and always enjoyed the reasonably priced food & drink. Parking is free, although you need to enter your reg on the machine at the bar so you don't get fined. Would recommend this pub to anyone and easily accessible by wheelchair, just let them know that you are coming so they don't seat you upstairs! Will be back again to try more food off the menu!

Food was good, drinks too. I had the Sunday menu. Nachos for starters, needed more cheese. Beef main, which came with carrots and partially roasted parsnips. Red cabbage with apple. A nice Yorkshire pudding and lots of gravy. Apple crumble dessert and custard, which tasted nice, although the crumble was mushy not crunchy. A little more care in the kitchen would take this from good to excellent without changing the food or cost. Lovely outdoor seating areas. Large car park at the rear.

Went for a family meal today to celebrate the birth of our newest member. Really lovely atmosphere, great food and quick/friendly service. Will definitely be back. Shout out to Chloe and Lily, as well as chef Suzy.

Arrived today for Lunch 4 of us.On arrival I asked would it be possible for my dietary liquid need to be heated up for me when the food that the other 3 people were ordering arrived it was in its own container so no cross contamination and was told yes - when the food arrived I was then told no they couldn’t it was and industrial microwave and would be too hot. I asked for the manager who then said it’s company policy that they don’t heat up anything even bottles for babies. So disappointed when they told me yes before ordering sat with nothing to eat also had a tea cold and had no white sugar just giving people the heads up wouldn’t be going again

Decided to pop out spontaneously on a Sunday for a meal and found this place. Very nice atmosphere inside, cosy but open. Quick and very friendly service. Food was amazing, everything seemed to be made in house and just felt and tasted amazing fresh and made to order, which given how quick and delicious it was, was a great plus. Will 100% be back again can't recommend enough.

Came in for food with my partner and it was amazing! Service was really fast and the lads behind the bar were great. Our food was beautiful I had a beef Sunday dinner and my partner had a burger couldn’t have been cooked any better. My first time visiting here and I’ll definitely be back again.

Great tasty food, a wide variety to choose from and reasonably priced (a bit more expensive than a weatherspoons but worth it for the taste) Pudding was a tad cold

A nice little local pub, reasonably priced food on those nights when you really can't be bothered or when a Sunday walk tempts you in for a pint. We love the gorgeous open fireplace (and the hot wings). Friendly to dogs and children alike.

The Sunday roast had the potential to be very good but was served with cold vegetables and meat, and overcooked parsnips and pigs in blankets. What a shame, a little care in the kitchen was all it needed. Mike & Jan

Had a meal with a couple of family members. The food was good quality and decent portion. It's a reasonable price for a meal out.

Much improvement must be made to staff training. Although I do realise that staff turnover among young staff is a common problem throughout the industry, I do feel that better training before being customer facing would alleviate many of the frustrations that customers feel while staff are put into a customer facing position without training.

The service from the staff is excellent, enjoyed a relaxing evening, with quiet ambient music and the people around were all chatting quietly. We moved away from our local which had loud music, then loud rugby on the televisions and everybody's tables were loud and shouting. And they no longer sell Stella! Not had much experience at this pub for a long time so will see how things go.
