😠 The worst soft play centre I’ve ever been to. Especially since covid, you would have thought that places would be extra clean - this was filthy! Dust and dirt and equipment taped up. So very disappointed as I had thought this was going to be a great place to go. I have twin boys under 2 and it cost... People often mention staff, play, children, kids, great, time, centre, clean, soft, area,

The worst soft play centre I’ve ever been to. Especially since covid, you would have thought that places would be extra clean - this was filthy! Dust and dirt and equipment taped up. So very disappointed as I had thought this was going to be a great place to go. I have twin boys under 2 and it cost just short of £20 plus £13.50 for lunch which was a very basic chicken wrap with cold chips. Will not be returning.

I’ve been a few times and never been impressed by the hygiene of the place, but today was another level. The floors and equipment were filthy, you can see what looks like years of dust and grime built up. To top it off, it was freezing, even my children who had been running around had freezing cold hands and runny noses, and half the lighting was off. Half the toilets were filled with used toilet roll too. The staff were friendly enough, but for how quiet it was, they for sure could have been disinfecting something rather than standing around. I had to throw our socks away it was that bad. The kids had fun though and the place has the potential to be great. Didn’t think to get any photos but here is a couple off a video where you can see the dust where kids have written their names in it 🤢 and the unicorn carousel being filthy. I fantasised about cleaning it😬

Decent apparatus for kids, but the place could really do with a clean, so much dust and grime, not hygienic. The place was put up for sale last year and it seems that everything including management has gone downhill since. We should have read the reviews before booking... Also does not provide tap water (in an active play area for kids?!) Management said it's because they don't have the system in place (surely BS), but they somehow still have a functioning kitchen. Food is expensive and very sub-par. Would recommend going to a Wacky Warehouse or similar instead of here. Edit: The owner has rudely responded saying this is a false review instead of taking any responsibility, appalling management. We have been to many attractions in Lancashire over the years, this has to rank amongst the worst. Also attached proof we went, the owner is a liar.

Worst soft play one ever been to! The staff are rude and got our backs up before we'd even got through the site by telling us we can't take our own kids juice bottles in and then to find signs saying 'tap water is not available in this building!!!' THEN, minimum card payment is £5 so if your child wants a drink, you'll be charged at least £5 for the privilege! If your going to charge people through the nose, at least have the decency to offer clean toilet & changing facilities, and maybe Chuck a bit of loo roll in for good measure aswell! At least 3 people complained about their food while we were there, we had to ask twice for ours and then still left out items from the kids boxes

Horrified with this place. Brought my son for a fun few hours to burn off some energy and I was disgusted at how dirty the place was. I understand play areas get dirty but I felt like this place hadn’t been cleaned for a very long time. Staff members looked as if they had no idea what they were supposed to be doing and looked as though they had never been around children which is slightly concerning given the environment. I would not recommend and will be finding a new local play area to take my son in the future. If I could give 0 stars I would.

The slides and variety of soft play here are actually great. A friend and I visited on a weekday with our little ones and we pretty much had the place to ourselves. Online booking was slick and easy to navigate. Nice variety of time slots too. I rated it as a two and that’s showing kindness because the soft play did entertain the little ones and the staff were friendly but we did have to be mindful of dodging used chewing gum on some of the soft foam squares, fluff/dirt collecting in our little ones hands and the odd packet of old crisps scattered in amongst the ball pit. I was happy not to bring food with us, as it mentioned you could only purchase food and drinks at the premises. And that’s okay providing there is food and drink available. Signs and leaflets were scattered about reinstating no food on the premises but when I asked for a menu, I was informed by the manager that there was no menu on the day we visited and that there was no service of hot or cold food for little ones nor adults - other than a cheese/ham toastie or a pie. There was a happy meal box for 3 year old plus but we did expect a better selection particularly for babies weaning. If bringing food from home for babies is okay, the signs and leaflets should be updated. And when we asked to refill our little ones water bottle, it was a firm because we were told they had no sink. The toastie not only didn’t look great but it didn’t taste great at all. And I am still hoping that the black marks on the underside of the bread was something other than mould. The pastry pie was served partially frozen in the middle which was taken back and the lady defrosted it before serving it a second time. Luckily I had emergency food for the little ones but otherwise they would have gone hungry. With a food hygiene certificate rating of 3, there is room for improvement or even reinspecting might help you identify what needs enhancing. The venue has so much potential and it’s such a shame the food is a let down. In the meantime the lady handling the money moved onto serving food without washing her hands, with her long hair lacking a hair net. The manager did explain hot food is only term time and we noticed that the majority of the electrical soft play machines and ball guns were all turned off.

These pictures show how much my daughter my loves coming to funtazia, we go to the center at least 4 times a month she loves playing on all the equipment. Since covid has been around the place has been spotless it is a fantastic center for my daughter and all my friend bring there children along too. The staff are fantastic very welcoming and helpful, the staff are constantly keeping on top of the cleaning and making sure the center is fully Sanatized. The food is fantastic and great prices for what you. Will always attend this center with my daughter as we can't find a more welcoming play center like this one.

Superb place with loads of fun for children of all ages. Extremely clean and hygenic and this place deserves a round of applause for how well they have coped throughout the difficult and challenging times and changes throughout the pandemic. Would definitely recommend.

After seeing the popular review regarding the onion rings and veggie nuggets, I eagerly awaited to test these out but they refused to serve me as “I wasn’t Fun enough for the Tazia” which was outrageous! I will be reporting Funtazia to the police and compiling all of these reviews where the members of staff actively harass members of the public for having opinions. Shame on you, I hope your business goes under!

All the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Lots of equipment for all ages to ensure all children can enjoy their time at Funtazia. The food and coffee from the cafe is lovely and convenient as I could get something to eat and drink while waiting for the kids. Everyone is welcoming and it’s a lively atmosphere

Took my grandchildren here today. What an amazing play centre. The boys loved it the area for toddlers was great but the equipment for the older children WOW!!! There was so much I don't know who enjoyed it more them or me. 2 floors of delight for my grandkids and a cafe to have food and a hot drink. We finished the day off with a race on the go karts.. will definitely be returning.

Well first time I've been since covid. I thought it was really good for the kids. Not totally busy like it used to be. It's good with the sessions. It was clean and tidy. I was very impressed with the male staff member who was helping children on the big slide. He kept on giving my daughter confidence to go down the slide and right at the end she achieved that. Give the lad a pay rise 😊 The place is not that warm. But in my opinion thats a plus because the kids won't be getting ratty because they are to hot. It's a place for the children not parents. Kids loved it. Staff was good. Food reasonable. Thanks Crew

Really good concept of a place, unfortunately very limited menu with strict "no own food policy" without gluten free, dairy free or vegan options. Adults not allowed on big slide without a child, even though fee paying, so difficult to build kids confidence separately, slide will burn holes in football shirts and leggings so be prepared! Behind the times would be a good description :) Staff are lovely!

I have to say, I haven’t been here and unfortunately I am reluctant to try this place. I wish to explain why. The responses by the owner, when people leave a negative review are not one that show customer service at the forefront, or empathy for some people. Out of the five responses I’ve seen from the owner, there is only one where there is an apology that they had a negative experience. Instead the negative reviewers are slammed and the responses are rude from the owner, in a very informal way. Even when it is the customers fault, there is no formal way of responding to the issue, but gets very personal to the person who has complained. Whilst there are many positive reviews, what doesn’t sit well with me, is knowing if something didn’t go quite right, it doesn’t seem staff or management would be supportive. I wouldn’t normally leave such a long review about a place I haven’t been to. Maybe the owner should consider how their responses affect the attraction of new customers. No doubt there will be a negative response from the owner about my review.

Kids love it here plenty to do for under 3 years old section and over 3 years old sections. Good jumping trampolines, slides, playing pits, bazookas firing rubber balls etc. A new go-kart like section has been opened too. Note new timing sessions for weekends and school holidays where staff clean premesis 30mins before each session times so must be there 10mins before session to ensure children admitted inside. Cost is expensive but worth it considering how much kids can do. I cannot comment on the food as we don't eat from here.

I had read the reviews online thinking I was going to walk into something from a horror movie. My kids absolutely loved it. Really fun roller slides, 2 bumpy slides and probably the steepest slide I have ever been down. Yes there was a little bit of dust in really hard to reach places and quite a bit of tape over ripped fabric but nothing major. I mean my joggers had burn marks after leaving due to the speed you go down the big slide (literal burn marks) but I can't blame the play centre for gravity. Really great place to take the kids I will definitely go again at some point.

Great place to visit, staff are chatty and friendly, they all seem to get along really well, staff always seem busy cleaning but will also find time to chat with customer should we need them. The new vr system is fantastic. cant wait to come back.

Play centre is lovely however not pleased with the food service. Went for a 2-4 session and asked to order food but told no food is available because they are only catering for a party. They do not allow outside food and nor do they inform you there will be no food.

Absolutely Rubbish! 😂 As the managers/owners will probably reply with - well I could say the same for this place. The worst play centre you’ll ever visit! It’s so filthy! The play centre that’s known as the RAT place, wish I’d done my research before paying £20 for 2 children and 2 adults. You’d think these people would have learnt a thing or two during the pandemic about hygiene 😩 There’s a reason why there’s no reviews on their Facebook page! Clearly got rid of the feature so no one could write anything bad. Save your money people and DO NOT VISIT.

The best play area we have been too by a mile! Plenty to do for all ages and so many areas to explore, my 1 & 3 year old had a blast! The place and equipment is all very clean and the staff are absolutely lovely. Would highly recommend and we will 100% be returning!

Had a lovely time with my children, visited this morning. Plenty to do with them. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The play area was clean and tidy. Ordered food and drinks, the staff brought them to the table for us, enjoyed our time here and can't wait to come back!👍😊

Bring my kids here all the time, the staff are lovely and managers are always around to help. The staff are constantly cleaning and tidying up. The food and cafe area are great, I can sit at a table with a coffee and still see my children running round. There's plenty for them to do and the centre is always active and busy with lots of children running round having plenty of fun. It's the biggest play centre in the area for us and the only one my children love to go to. Fab team in place, keep up the hard work! 👏

I find it very strange that we were in the same position as the other lady re- a party booking at Funtazia - we booked our sons party in May when they first re- opened as we have been many times and we and our children love the place . we rang them after the 21st June when we should have been out of restrictions to ask about the situation regarding covid -19 and our booking - They could not have been more helpful .The lady explained we could not have the 15 children as the restrictions had not been lifted ( I thought everyone would know this ?) We totally understood and although it was disappointing we were just grateful we could still have our sons party with his closest friends in a socially distanced and safe manner . We made it up to the 3 friends by having a small tea party the week after at home . The lady said she would understand if we wanted to cancel the party and we could have vouchers to spend in Funtazia to the value of the deposit if we wanted ? I also have friends who have moved bookings for a very small admin fee of £1.50 - I feel sorry for them as it must be very difficult trying to manage in this environment when everything is so uncertain . Our party was amazing and all the children loved it as always. well done Funtazia
