The most rude receptionist/practice manager I'd say in the whole of medicine! It's dead easy to get seen if you are jobless but God help you if you work and can't phone at 8am in the morning. The surgery has very dated equipment, the appointment system is an absolute joke and I shall be complaining about the practice manager to the GMC! Disgusting attitude! I know of 10 plus people that have left this surgery purely down to this woman! The doctors are decent, the other people on reception are great but I really hope people don't have to deal with this woman and anybody that is as rude and aloof as her should not be in a customer facing role. Edit: Recently I had a ,inor heart attack and didn't know for 2 weeks of feeling shocking and barely able to stand up and missed 2 appointments whiI apologised for as soon as I could yet they have removed me from their books. So no aftercare, no follow ups and literally just more bad attitude and rudeness from the receptionist. If you can find a different doctors surgery I would do as this surgery's actions in my opinion are shocking, bordering on, malpractice. I now have a hematoma on my head that I can't see a doctor about and a probable broken rib yet checked NHS app and I have no doctors. Never mind repeat prescriptions that I need. So if you enjoy being spoken down to, patronised, made to feel like a problem then go to this surgery. Make sure it's the large lady on reception as she will help you out without so much as a warm welcome never mind a smile. Good riddance to a terrible practice.

Absolutely joke of a surgery…. over 2 hours on the call no matter what time of the day you ring, go to the door and ring bell or knock and get ignored… when you do get to speak to someone they are rude and unprofessional and don’t care about the patients at all… doctors themselves are nice and friendly but trying to get to see one is almost impossible they should be closed down just took my entire family out and moved to another practice as I have been unable to see Any doctor for the past 2 years as never an appointment even after a 2 hour wait on the phone and then your told they are not following government guidelines when it comes to the vaccines total nightmare don’t waste your time and join this practice

They are totally joke. A medicine I need after every one or two month for Hey fever every time I request for it and I explain them please request the doctor to write down the specific brand as I’m telling you otherwise every time Pharmacy giving me generic brand and it doesn’t work with me it’s totally wasting my money. But I’m fed up now with them even they won’t give me doctor appointment. Even their service is now worst for the lovely excuse of corona. About on last July I requested for a repeat prescription and I turned up to the Medical Center on time, door was close for corona. Someone came out after calling, I asked him for my prescription, he replied to collect from the pharmacy. I told him my prescription shouldn’t go to the pharmacy because usually I don’t collect from this pharmacy I collect from GP reception. He went back to his desk again and came back said It is on the way to your home for delivery. I replied it’s impossible. Because I never ask for delivery and if someone do delivery to my home now their is no one at my house to pay for the medicine. Then The guy went back to inside and came back. Said - the medicine you requested for is not available here. I asked him can you please simply give me the prescription, then I can find out where is the medicine available. So far I know there are about 10 pharmacy in 2 miles radius from little horton medical Center, but he mentioned the medicine is only available at BD8 , I forgot the pharmacy name. He already made me upset with his service so I thought won’t waste the time to look at other pharmacy and I went to the pharmacy he mentioned and bought from there. The medicine were just 2 Inhaler brown 1 and blue1. I don’t understand about his drama. Anyway still we are thankful because of you are doing too much paperwork for us. You know medical Center does too much paperwork, not much service for patients.

If I could give this surgery 0 stars, I would, purely due to the unprofessional and ruthless reception staff. Absolutely appalling telephone manner and they think they're medically trained to decide whether or not you ought to be given an appointment. Out of the four reception staff I've spoken to recently, ALL but one have stinking attitudes and zero care/compassion. Where does Dr Gilkar find these people? The doctors themselves are pretty decent to be honest. But getting an appointment with them is nothing short of a miracle as the receptionist staff are so reluctant to help arrange one. Honestly it's almost comedic how these individuals have actually been hired in this setting when they have such little sensitivity and professionalism!

The staff here ARE SO RUDE! Medical receptionists and the doctors, it’s like they feel entitled of some sort. Unfortunately my elderly mum was a patient at this surgery , she recently went for a yearly check up , and the nurse SAIMA really said to my mum that she had bowel cancer and within the second as soon as she saw my mums face apologised and said she got it wrong. THE NHS IS A FREE SERVICE DO NOT FEEL AS THOUGH YOU ARE TIED TO A SURGERY, IF YIU ARE EXPERIENCING SOMETHING SIMILAR CHANGE YOUR SURGERY! the anxiety of having to plead and beg to be seen to then be confronted with complete hostility by the staff, wow, they need shutting down is you ask me.

The worst doctors surgery ever. Try to get an appointment as soon as you get through to them we are fully booked. Put you on a waiting list for something that could become very serious. Honestly if I was a lawyer I would sue this doctors practice. VERY VERY BAD !!!!

Rude woman on reception got really funny with me on the phone, really unprofessional. Only saving grace is that I dealt with a lad on reception previously who was decent and did his job correctly, and the Doctors here are very good people. It's like the lottery when you ring up. You might get good service, but you might get what I got today, which is a very rude receptionist.

If I could give Dr Gilkars practice a minus star, I would. When you call, they take forever answering. When you request an appointment, they tell you they are either full or the doctor isn't in, and you can't book for the following day either. I've been sat in the surgery when the phone has rang and the ladies behind the counter will be on Snap Chat on their phone rather than answering the desk phone... Honestly the fact some of these people are qualified enough to work for the NHS is probably the reason why the NHS is suffering... When they do eventually pick up, you feel so grateful to hear someone's voice that you ignore that unrefined Bradford accent which would usually make you run a mile. The reception staff are so rude. I missed a call from them and when I called back, I was accused of wasting their time. I told them we needed to see a female doctor, and yet they referred us to a male doctor, who then referred it back for a female doctor... The dimwit on reception needs to know the practice policies instead of accusing the patient of wasting their time. I've sent a formal complaint and I'm going to be referring the matter to the local Trust... This practice is not fit for purpose and needs to be investigated fully. It simply is not on, they are funded by the tax payer and they behave like they are doing the local community a favour.... Honestly avoid and sign up with a different practice if possible.

Awful service. Was on hold for 1.5 hours only to be told no appointments available. The appointment was for someone vulnerable and really needed it but told to go chemist to purchase medication. To the staff who said this ask yourself would you pay if your eligible for free. Horrible service. A few curse words for you all.

Absolute joke. I will be leaving this practice immediately. In my previous medical centre, I've never had to wait over an hour on the phone, whilst in a queue; all I get is "you are number 13 in the queue" and it stays on 13 for 35 minutes. For those seeking a medical practice, I advise you to look elsewhere because this is the worst medical practice to register you/your family at.

Avoid at all costs. I have been there 3mth qnd been treated horrible 😢. I made 7 appointments within that time as I have fibroids and adenomyosis qnd pain is so unbelievable. They stopped all pain medicines all.. so I have to make appointments to try sort it . I was taken in to the office by the manager and told I am wasting nhs money making appointments about pain medication and im not in pain. Refusing to dip my urine as I was in so much pain. Was told make another appointment for that as this is for my stomach pain . I ended up in hospital for 3 days given antibiotics and strong pain relief all because the gp refused to dip my urine. I've left this place and will never return. They will leave you sick so there surgery gets good government rates for less medical expenses completely disgusting behaviour there .and doctors are at the root of it grrr now I have to wait to be registered elsewhere 🙄 avoid for your own health

I have numerous dealing's with this practice over the last few difficult months and years , my family and I are patients . The care and attention i have received have been second to none. Each staff member is helpful, sympathetic and kind. Dr Patel and Dr Aziz have always gone beyond my expectations and displayed clinical expertise and empathy .I want to particularly name Naima on reception who has displayed such care and help. I could not have managed without her, she is a shining example of just how good N H S staff are. Finally a special mention to Rifat nurse practioner for her help and to each and every single member of staff . Well done for your hard work and superb service

This surgery is gone downhill since Dr K P Mall left! Dr raja was good at one point now he fobs you off doesn’t like sending you to specialist neither does he give you time to describe your symptoms! He doesn’t want to treat you it seems like! He doesn’t want to be there. Very hard to get an appointment with Dr khorkar as he’s really good. New girl on reception thinks she a doctor now! Very rude girl with mousey brown hair skinny!
