waiting

minutes
from
queue

I
eventually
spoke
to
the
receptionist
thinking
‘great
I’m
going
to
get
an
appointment’
I
found
that
I
was
going
to
get
a
telephone
appointment
at
some
unspecified
time
throughout
the
day.
I
work
in
a
call
centre
where
I
am
not
allowed
my
phone
and
surprise
surprise
I
have
had
3
missed
calls
from
a
doctor
that
I
was
unable
to
answer
as
I
was
at
work
and
cannot
have
my
phone
on
my
person
!
I
wasn’t
intentionally
missing
the
calls
but
when
I
called
to
book
an
appointment
I
didn’t
expect
a
telephone
appointment
-
covid
restrictions
are
pretty
much
over
so
why
not
let
me
actually
see
a
doctor
???
My
2
year
old
also
has
numerous
health
issues
and
everytime
his
repeat
prescription
is
supposed
to
be
at
the
chemist
it
isn’t
and
my
partner
has
to
call
the
gp
to
find
it
is
waiting
a
gp
to
sign
it
or
some
other
excuse
