If I could give this practice zero stars I would .They are not fit for purpose and they are the reason a& e is over run because it's near on impossible to get an appointment. The receptionists are rude and grumpy aswell as being patronizing. Somehow all the appointments are gone by 5 past 8 and you can't book in advance for minor issues it's a joke

This doctors have gone down the pan since doctor withers left. You phone up in the morning you wait in a queue for 20 to 30mins. Then to be told there is no appointment left .the receptionist say to you phone up in the morning. This is a joke .and getting in to see a doctor is a joke and even to speak to them is a joke if you get one you get to speak to a practitioner nurse not the doctors they then prescribed you something . Which then take doctors three days to sign thats a joke on it own .what is wrong with these people doctors are here to help you not keep you in pain for not signing your prescription.

For the record the Doctors here are lovely and helpful people. The 2 stars are for the management of the reception and calls. I was advised to call back the next day after 8 am to book for an early appointment, I did so around 8:01 am. Someone picked up the phone and dropped it immediateIy; I tried ringing for the next 15 minutes and suddenly I am in the 23rd queue waiting in line. By the time it reached the 18th queue some answered which was a surprise. They are deliberately meddling with the call queues or something fishy is going on in their end.

Absolutely appalling, you can’t book an appointment to see a GP in advance you have to go through a maze of messages and options before you get fobbed of with some verbal diarrhoea about ringing at 8 am to get an appointment that day !! You’ve more chance of being poked by the lottery finger what a sorry state of affairs this is. Although the girl on the phone was polite.

Ridiculous procedure - if you can't call them at 08:00:00am because you're at work for example - like most of normal people, you better forget about getting an appointment. They have cancelled my mums appointment without any explanation or re-booking. Got several bruises as the head nurse was unable to take a blood sample - tried more than 6 times and she did not know what the samples are for and how much blood is needed as there was no info on the system. Then I had to call after more than a week to find out the results just to be told "it's ok". I requested a treatment and all I received was advice. The silly welcome message warns you they will not tolerate verbal abuse but there is no smoke without a fire. The real problem is - they are not aware of how bad their practice is and why people are so angry with all this. There is no decent GP in this town...

These doctors are a joke 56 min on the phone waiting for them to pick and answer. Was 12 in the queue. Waited nearly 2 hours to press a button for them to send a prescription electronically to the the chemist. 56mins on the phone for them to tell me it as gone down .I ask the parctcie nurse if I could have it print out while I was there and she said I can not because she could not print it out because of covd rules. So it as just taken her hour half to press the button to send it .if I could have reviewed this doctors by given them no stars i would have done i was the only one in the doctors surgery so she was not rush off her feet but still took her hour and half to send the prescription then to top it off the chemist did not have them in till tomorrow morning. What a joke don't wander poeple do not go to doctors. You get stressed before you see them .

1 star is too good of a rating from me!!! First off I can’t get through, 15-20 calls back to back, when i do get through the call que is full, so by the time i do get through for an appointment there won’t be any, and it wont be possible to walk in and book an appointment over the desk!

I made an 8 week review for my daughter to be seen went to the allerton surgery to be told it was at Clayton. I couldn't get to Clayton as I don't drive and then the receptionist messaged the Dr to then tell me it was supposed to be a telephone review which never got stated either she also said I could be waiting all day to hear from the Dr to phone me I'm still waiting now to be called and this is 2 hours later!!This Dr's is an absolute joke and by sounds of things noone knows what there doing there! It also happened to another lady while i was stood there too. How is a Dr supposed to review a baby over the phone?

The worst clinic in the town. To het hold of them taking time, took us 4 weeks before we managed o get an appointment. Then waited 3 weeks for go to call is and then referred to specialist. We waited just over 2 month for seeing specialist and when attend found that go not attached any blood results to the referral and we have to go through same procedure again. What a waste of the time!!!!!

After waiting 25 minutes from queue position 43 I eventually spoke to the receptionist thinking ‘great I’m going to get an appointment’ I found that I was going to get a telephone appointment at some unspecified time throughout the day. I work in a call centre where I am not allowed my phone and surprise surprise I have had 3 missed calls from a doctor that I was unable to answer as I was at work and cannot have my phone on my person ! I wasn’t intentionally missing the calls but when I called to book an appointment I didn’t expect a telephone appointment - covid restrictions are pretty much over so why not let me actually see a doctor ??? My 2 year old also has numerous health issues and everytime his repeat prescription is supposed to be at the chemist it isn’t and my partner has to call the gp to find it is waiting a gp to sign it or some other excuse

I've had a horrible cough and vomiting, for over 4 weeks i finally got appointment to see the doctor which i think it was a nurse not a doctor, this lady was so rude she wasn't welcoming she was so abrupt and just looked feed up with her job and took the frustration out on me i explained my situation to her, All she had to say was have honey and lemon i told her I've been having that for 5 weeks and i didn't need to come in and take time off work for someone to tell me to have honey with lemon she shuck her shoulders and said there nothing i can do and she just continue tapping the keyboard !!!!! Absolutely appalling im so annoyed i havnt slept well for few weeks due to this cough I've been off work and the doctors can't even help you whilst your suffering!

I have been trying for a week to get an appointment... only to get the message at 8.01 that all have been taken. How can that be when lines dont open till 8.00 and appointments are only released in the morning there is no pre booking 🤔

Lady with blonde hair and glasses on the reception needs to consider a different career. She is so rude. Told her I’d been trying to get an appointment for last few days but the phone lines weren’t working. She said “it’s only been today”. I said “No, it was yesterday as well.” She huffed at me - literally huffed and shook her head! Then said “right well what you want?” No apology that the lines are down and I had to journey out. She was then useless in helping me get appropriate care and was rude throughout the whole interaction. Disgusting service.

0 stars... Worst health centre on the planet... The receptionist was so rude I couldn't believe it... Absolutely disgraceful. Blonde haired, middle aged woman with glasses and an attitude problem. The doctors are amazing here and really do care but this particular receptionist needs to be sacked.

If your here for good service give up. Didn’t think I’d have trouble getting a repeat prescription but apparently so never given the right meds dosage never on time quite frankly if I could give less than one star I would never go here

Terrible, terrible. Can’t see a GP they only have nurses that have no clue what they are doing or talking about. Was told that they don’t have a GP in the surgery. Very unprofessional and ridiculous they trying to kill their patients off. Stay away from nurse Jessica Layton. Really clueless

Unable to get an appointment. The fact the receptionist can’t make an appointment when you’re physically there is stupid. I was there at 8am for an appointment but needed to see a doctor but that didn’t happen

I have just had a telephone appointment with a GP who was kind, informative and understanding of my issue. She set me on the right course for what I needed and as a result I am feeling much more positive and confident. A phone call and process (which I had been dreading reading some of these reviews) I am happy to report was just brilliant! So thought I would share it!

Getting an appointment is like using a chocolate fireguard! E-consultation gives them 2.5 days to respond to your email, absolutely ridiculous. It's no wonder people go to A&E!!!!!

Took 2 years to get a face to face appointment, fobbed off with some medication, given incorrect treatment which resulted in severe side effects and Irreparable damage done, admitted to hospital, the Gp service here is an absolute failure! The places needs a compete rethink, Or shutting down.

multiple times I've rang I've been told i'll receive a call from the GP within 3 days and 2 weeks later i still haven't received a call. Not only that the receptionist asked why i rang if i can't give them all my time after i asked for a specific date and time of the expected call since I'm in uni classes frequently.

The doctor surgery was extremely rude to me when requesting support regarding a suicidal episode wirh my bipolar. Was also told 3 weeks for a call back in regards to my blood tests for my lithium levels.

The worst health centre I have ever attended, you can not get appointments to see a doctor, at best you might get a phone call consultation but that’s usually an out of hours doctor and you have to wait about 2 weeks for that, the health centre is a shambles with receptionists that are quite rude and blunt. If this was a private business then they would have no customers.
