I'd only recommend this swimming baths if you don't like fun and want to be constantly harassed by staff. Seems like you can swim and breathe and that's it. The kids they were telling off all the time were causing no harm and doing nothing dangerous. I think it's because they didn't have any adults with them that the staff took it upon themselves to become Karens. The shouting that the staff were doing was far more annoying.

They have a male lifeguard working during the female only sessions, hope they change to female only

The pool is great and it is warm which is nice. We attended the free swim session with our children. The children enjoyed themselves. It wasn't too busy and the session is fairly long. The changing area is mixed for both males and females which I found slightly uncomfortable. There are separate cubicles. There appeared to be great disabled facilities. Went for a pilates class. I didn't use the changing facilities, took my own mat (there are mats available), the studio was clean and spacious. The class was full, it was enjoyable. The instructor is lovely. Very positive and encouraging. I felt comfortable as a beginner. Would reccommend.

I've been swimming here for over 30 years the pool is very warm, they have a gym and sauna, and the disabled facilities are very good with two full hygiene rooms.

My twin sister and I have been swimming at bowling pool for 4 years and we love going thier. We have missed going with it having to be closed. The staff are very helpful, pleasant and well mannered and always have a smile for you

Really friendly and helpful staff. They offer a quiet gym and sauna as well as pool where you can buy a membership which is £27 a month and gives you access to all facilities. The pool itself is lovely and warm and customers there were all nice and friendly as well. Though the changing rooms are unisex which can be an issue for some people so that's something to consider but the cubicals are all private even though it is quite a small space. Lovely x

Have used the pool for few years now. The staff here are friendly and helpful. The pool is ideal for kids and disabled people as it is warmer than other pools and has a ramp and hoist to assist users with mobility issues. Changing facilities have family rooms and lockers ( £1 refundable required for lockers and change is available from reception) . A seated viewing area is available with vending machines. Never had any issues finding parking in the car park either. Swimming lessons and pool parties are also available here.

Great facilities, friendly staff and entertaining place to enjoy your swimming. They have done a nice refurb job.

I am not been at this pool nearly 6 years. After that I took my son who's 9 to women only family swim. I am.been looking at this website and checking everything like times price ages. And again they didn't mentioned how old a boy allowed in a pool. I used my own brain I thought it would be up to 10 years old who will not allowed. But when I got there fins out that my 9 years is not allowed aswell. And on reception lady was insist that there is a age mentioned. What they looked for themselves and couldn't it. After all these years website same.

Pool water was nice and warm and the pool is wheelchair friendly easily including people of all physical abilities

Go every week for ladies lane swim on Monday an Friday night it also has a suana but u call to book in for the swim u want an sometimes u get there for the staff to turn round an say oh your not booked in an then its disappointment an al a ok fulstrating by meany means

The gym is very good, has the main muscles building machines needed a good workout, hep given if struggling.

Excellent I took my 14 month old granddaughter to the under 8 year old session and ot was really fantastic.

It was my first experience using a gym. Well equipped and not too busy. Loved it.

Very rude staff,nasty to children, don't let you swim in peace,over the top micro management, worse attitude ive seen towards families. Shocked people behave like this in 2022. Try any other pool avoid this if you have any dignity to preserve.

As the rating suggests its OK. Its a small pool, serving a large local community. Good for a quick dip, or some lengths, but it can be quite busy at times, making it cramped and difficult to swim with younger/weaker swimmers. No slide or diving boards, so take some inflatables to entertain the kids. Water is warm, and changing facilities are pretty good usually a cubicle available, and lockers are free, but you do need a pound coin which is returned. It is convenient it being local, and at least we have it there, however if you want a more exciting swimming experience for younger children you may want to consider looking further afield.

This place was closed for refurbishment but when it’s open I didn’t notice any refurbishment & sadly it’s again closed for refurbishment

When is the pool open ? Always seems closed for maintenance to me

Great staff, lovely warm pool! Gym so close. One minus, old showers and old hairdryers.

I only give it a 3 at the moment because the pool and the sauna are not open untill January. But the staff was very helpful and show us around looking forward to January and trying it out.
