Always lived in Bradford but never before been to this hidden gem! Always travelled further afield however this cinema had a great deal on tickets with my employee discounts app so purchased tickets, easily and hassle free. Got there and the atmosphere is just lush, easily accessible for all and the decor and layout is modern and tasteful. The toilets were spotless, as was the whole cinema, you can tell they take pride in its appearance. The staff were friendly and helpful aided by them being so quick and efficient. The seats we chose first turned out not to be suitable for my fidgeting little boy, but my partner took the tickets out and they swapped them straight away with no fuss at all and we moved further up as not to disturb others enjoying the film. Seats are super comfortable and the little tables are ace for sweets and drinks if you have smaller children with you. An added bonus is the free parking in Broadway, easily redeemed by entering your registration on a tablet in the foyer. Will definitely be returning to the The Light!

Would have been 5 stars but can't use meerkats. Nice comfy seats though free car park validation for 5 hours. 6 quid for each ticket. Lovely inside nice vibe different to other cinemas with bar and food available. Nice seating in foyer area. Great overall experience.

The cinema room it's self was fantastic, the staff were fantastic and my experience as a whole was really nice, the seats are much more comfortable than competing cinema's and the temperatures was perfect along with a great screen and outstanding sound quality. The only thing that let it down for me was the price of food, I think, i could be wrong, you could keep the same food you've got and lower the prices to no more than 7.50 for a meal deal, although the food was lovely, the price I actually paid was a lot, everyone can agree on the fact we that we hardly ever buy popcorn from a cinema because its £8 for an amount we could probably get for £3, If you lowered this I think you bring even more people in and beat the competing cinemas in the area. Summary: everything was absolutely fantastic but the price of the food didn't hold its value.

Walked into the cinema first time. Customer service is top tier, the lady who scanned my ticket volunteered to open the door for me. The seats are extremely comfortable, the cinema room is clean and comfy. The seat and the food are worth it for the price in this day and age of price rises.

I don't normally leave reviews but I had to after these 2 heroes (Matty and Khuram) allowed me back in to validate my parking after they'd closed the doors for the night, on top of that the overall customer service when collecting the E-Vouchers, popcorn and drinks was spot and served with a smile, will definitely be coming back again. 👍

My favourite cinema from Bradford and one of my favourites in general, having a perfect location near Broadway. I went before to the one in Bolton, and I have to say I was impressed by the one in Bradford. It is very clean as a whole, it has a modern appearance, the seats are comfortable and they have enough space between rows, the staff is very lovely and the popcorn is really tasty. I like that they have a wide range of films too and the sound is good. The people who attend the films there are polite too so you can actually enjoy a film without being disturbed by others. I fully recommend it.

Went with my son to watch the latest resident evil film. Purchased tickets, food and drinks. Started to go to the screen room when we were asked to prove my sons age. That's a perfectly reasonable question to be asked, unfortunately we had no way of providing anything that would prove he was 15. I'm his dad for gods sake and I'm willing to accept responsibility if anyone came in for proof of age. Well we didn't get in because we had no proof to show, who has proof of age for a 15 year old going to the pictures. If he was on his own fair enough. They said to watch another film, stupid suggestion in my opinion. So we had to accept a refund for the tickets but not for the rip off food. The attitude of the staff was nothing short of we don't care or want to know. Can honestly say we won't be back. You would think with the last year of shutdown they would be more helpful. Well I won't recommend this place I'm sticking to the vue in future. No stars worth giving here. But we had to give one star to register the opinion

The cinema is right next to Broadway shopping centre, making it easily accessible. The staff are friendly, and available. The seats are very comfortable. The cinema accepts blue light card, for a reduction on holders ticket.

Super intimate venue. Love that local chavs go to Cineworld so the respectable civillized of us can watch movies in peace. Comfy reclining chairs. Clean throughout. Nice toilets. Good bar selection. Polite, friendly staff. My #1 go to cinema.

Been my go-to cinema for a while. The majority of the other Light cinemas are bigger, but I actually prefer the size of this one. Serves alcohol which is never a downside. They also put on some decent film events. Halloween, for example is quite good.

I had a fantastic time today at the Light Cinema watching "The Creator". The ticket prices were reasonable, and the auditorium was impeccably clean. The large screen and superb sound quality really added to the overall experience. What stood out the most were the fabulously spacious sofa seats that allowed me to relax and enjoy the film in absolute comfort. Highly recommend this cinema for a top-notch movie-watching experience! They're showing a live screening of A Little Life this Thursday so will be heading back for that.. Great cinema

Love the light cinema. Seats are super comfortable and recline. There is ample space in between the rows, and you will never experience any kicks from the person sitting behind you!! The tables in between the chairs are extremely convenient. Staff are very helpful and friendly. The only snag is that some screens are smaller than others.

A nice space to watch movies. The chairs are comforand the environment is just the perfect space. The ads prior to the movie starting was 30 minutes long though; I think there are cinemas with shorter d duration

Lovely place, relaxing for adults and kids, good price, comfortable seats, snacks variety good. All you need to spend time with your family and friends watching good movies.

Whoever designed these seats is a total fool. They are like hammocks or a moon chair or some such ridiculousness. They feel unsafe when they tip back and furthermore whenever anyone makes the slightest movement they clunk and thud which, in a cinema, is profoundly unconventional. Will not be returning, sadly.

Very pleasant Cinema. Depending where you live difficult to get to. Free car parking in the Broadway Centre if you're not used to it difficult to get in and out of. Simple when you know 🤔 Maybe more signage needed when the Broadway Centre is closed

Actually a very nice cinema, rooms were small but screens very nice size and sound. The staff here were all lovely and coming here on my own I was scared. Got a good deal for tickets, food and drink too.

Comfortable seats is the only saving grace first I had to kick some little shots out of our seat one refused to go until I said if he didn't move I would have no option but to sit on his knee. Him and his stupid mates who couldn't work out that the 4th row was row D not C once they moved they were on their phones all the way though the movie and varying no staff came in totally ruined the whole experience
