Was looking for a decent laptop for general office type work & was shocked at the prices in here considering the spec of the laptops and the fact that just next door the prices were much more reasonable with similar specs if not better. Word of advice, check out Phone Hub next door prior to going into cash converters as you will have a better idea of the prices & hopefully a better deal too.

If you ever have the pleasure of dealing with Jordan you’re in for a treat. Talks to you like complete s**t and try’s to belittle you. Offers a low price and bullies you into accepting it or he simply goes ‘if you don’t like our offer then do one’ baring in mind that he’s never dealt with me before and it’s the first time I’ve dealt with him for nearly 4 years I’ve been going there either selling phones or stuff I don’t need anymore. Clearly having a bad start to the day. Also calling people outside ‘dossers’ and making jokes about customers. Something needs to be done.

Always friendly staff, good to liaise with and very helpful. Wish they had more Sony stuff. Only criticism and not their fault is that on some days customers come in whom have no idea on how to wash and have never worked this decade. Complete scam. I returned the tv i bought like a less then a day ago in the shop as it had a problem with the white light going through the lcd screen. They told me no returns accepted as you viewed it in the shop and not online. The only thing i saw when wiewing it was a picture that was displayed on the screen. With that picture i coudn’t see that fault with the white led blooming. So i thought they would accept the full refund, but no. They only game me 70 precent back for what it was worth. However i had to argue for even that. I got the 70 precent of money back, but felt really bad for not knowing that they don’t care about your money and how you feel about losing hard earned money. I get their view, but i only had the tv for a day. Lastly i also had to spend over 15 pound to get the tv back for taxi as they do not do shiping if ordered from shop.

WARNING-WARNING-WARNING!!!!!! Avoid this shop at all cost. You will be met with violence and threatening and abusive behaviour by the staff. Massive internal inquiries going at the moment in relation to violence and abuse by the staff. You will be told to come back at closing time to have a fight with the staff if you as much as slightly disagree with any offer they propose. Should you try and stand your ground you will have the glass partition smashed in your face by the guys fist behind the counter. Avoid these animals at all cost.

Went into the store today to purchase a mobile phone, served by Tee, a lovely young man, very polite with fantastic customer service, he went through the various features on the phone i was looking to purchase and compared with other phones to ensure this was the right phone for me. Tee was very helpful, he had a great sense of humour, welcomed me nicely into the the store, went through the company policies with me to ensure i was a aware of everything before purchasing my BARGAIN new phone..Thanks Tee keep up the good work, looking forward to meeting you again in store 👍👍👍

TIME WASTERS. say one thing over the phone to make me trek all the way into bradford from a different CashConverters just for them to refuse the item at all! when they could have just said that in the first place! if anybody wants a 42" non-smart tv comes with remote, stand and games/dvd rack included. id have been happy with taking massive losses on it cause it was nearly 1000 pound new back in its day, now i just want rid of it for the space. id seriously be happy for somebody to make good use of a decent tv capable of gaming and home theater systems rather than it sitting my hallway, so id let it go for 25-30 pound. maybe even just 20 pounds if you are a worthy cause or would even be willing to come pick it up? Either way. that's the last time i'm letting them incompetent cash converters workers that cant even communicate between stores even while on the phone with each other! which was the whole purpose for the call between stores in the first place! and they still cant relay correct information between stores. this just screams incompetency at my end and now i have wasted my time effort and fuel when if a worker relayed the correct information in the first place and the other worker on the other end being too lazy and incompetent to ask the right questions could have saved a lot of hassle time and fuel, instead of just saying "yeah well buy it but you wont get much for it" which i was prepared for. atleast it could have covered a couple pounds worth of fuel which i was practically guaranteed id get for the tv, the stand and the remote 0/10 would not recommend getting your time wasted and then ridiculously low balled

Went in today and the guy with that ponytail heavy beard who was going to buy the phone off us put numerous sims in to check if it was unlocked which it was he goes it shows the signal but when he calls the store it says call failed when he should off called the networks directly not the store. Obviously its not going to call out because the sims are not topped up to make them calls. Pure scammer avoid this store!!

I visited the store last week and was given a absolutely amazing customer service experience by a member of staff called Tee he was very respectful, welcoming and had a jolly smile and he was very friendly and understanding also he was very helpful and he made sure i was happy with the customer service and also with the service provided. Not many retail assistant go that extra mile to make sure us customer are happy with the service and are satisfied and from this experience i will be visiting again. thanks you for employing such a gentleman and a respectful, hardworking and friendly person. This gentleman deserves some of recognition.

I was served by a Man called Tee... This man is extremely friendly absolutely lovely to have a chat with. I didnt feel like I was being served..It actually felt like I was talking to a friend.. Rang the store on 19/09/20, spoke to issy, was looking for a specific power tool, issy very politely answered all my questions I had, also kept the one I wanted for me. When I came into the store, his big smile just said it all, it feels so welcoming, issy showed me the one I wanted and also went out of his way to test the product before I left the store, he told me the warranty policy to. Such a easy and pleasant transaction. Will be back for some more tools. Thanks issy

If you have items and want to sell them, I'd seriously consider taking your time and selling them online. They use ebay to value items anyway. I took 4 items into store, a programable digital hula hoop, a app controlled BB8, a levitation wand, and a diabolo. And the guy behind the counter offered me a laughable £15 for the lot. Most likely because he couldn't find an ebay listing like it, and because it wasn't his usual 'tech' couldn't see the value in it. He even scoffed "you can get £50 for that?" I hope managers read these reviews, as that guy cost you profit, today I sold the wand alone for £65, and the hula hoop is as good as sold for £90. That's a lot of profit they lost, for simply not making a sensible offer... at the time I would of accepted £50 for the lot. So thank you to the member of staff who passed judgement on me as soon as I walked through the door, your ignorance, arrogance and general rudeness in the long term made me a lot more money. You can find the sold listing now on ebay mate ;) maybe you can learn from this 👍 And if what another review stated about an investigation is ongoing about staff attitude and behaviour is true, I can totally see why. Terrible service. Only sell if you're desperate.

An all-around allhadins cave of reasonably priced electronics (and guitars,power tools,video game consoles. I got an Xbox one set,perfect brand new for £200 Inc £50 worth of games and a Bluetooth speaker for my phone thrown in . Never met a more friendly, helpful set of staff.regar customer and user of financial services like pawnbrokers (28 day buy back)
