This was our first visit and tbh it is a really good micro pub. Decent choice of draft beer and even bigger range of bottled. There is also a seating area upstairs. No negatives & will certainly return.

Just loved this wee place was packed when we were in, loved the free bread and dripping.

Nice beers, very friendly, good clientele, would recommend. Today there were 5 different very friendly dogs, all well behaved.

My interest in The Ainsbury was peeked in reading about a recent award online. Bank Holiday Friday I travelled up from Worcestershire to check it out. What a lovely welcome on a lovely sunny afternoon in this quiet semi-rural district of Bradford, Thackley. The proprietors and keepers, Mr & Mrs Higgins have magic'd their quirky vision of genuine hospitality. I say magic because the one-up, one-down is perfectly formed as a neighbourhood pub; to never feel empty, and one would have to be bloody ignorant to reject friendly inclusions from other punters. I noticed spirits are quality (Tanqueray gins rather than flash unnecessarily expensive Grey Goose vodkas etc.), but foremost this is a real ale pub. If this was down in Shoreditch it would have "Artisan" in the genre title and one of a chain - which would then exclude the broad mix of ages who evidently feel very at home.

First time in the Ainsbury micro pub was a pleasant experience with friendly staff (john) with a good selection of beers thumbs up

Excellent micropub with wide choice of both real ales, ciders and many unusual gins. Friendly owners and locals, dog and child friendly.

Lovely place, lovely people both sides of the bar. Very popular in Thackley and those who live further away.

Love the Ainsbury. Great selection of craft beers ciders and some good quirky spirits. A great friendly atmosphere. A very up close and personal experience (as its only small) but that is the beauty of it. The landlord and landlady are both really friendly and welcoming and there is additional seating upstairs. A little gem!

Was reticent to go here at first cos micro pubs are not my thing but after first vist I was wowed , friendly , good beers and spirits also really dog friendly , great set of friendly customers , totally recommended.

Fantastic, friendly local micropub run by a great couple with different hand pulled ales every week and finger-food on weekends.

Fabulous local bar.....Great selection of real ales ciders continental lagers to choose from.....you will not be disappointed by visiting this hostelry ....lovely welcoming owners ....this bar is a local gem you must try 👍

Excellent micropub with friendly and attentive landlords. The beer range is changed regularly. The bar area is cosy; there is also a pleasant seating area upstairs.
