Good shopping centre carpark for the Premier Inn in Leeds city centre or the First Direct Arena. Parking costs Β£10, if you're staying at the Premier Inn. Just ask the hotel to validate your parking ticket for the duration of your stay.

Great car park if staying at Ibis Styles right next door. Spotlessly clean, wide spaces and well maintained. Number plate recognition on entry/exit and pay stations prior to exit. When staying at Ibis Styles present ticket at reception to obtain overnight discount and pay Β£8.00 at the paystation.

AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!! if your parking here when a show is on at the arena, sat in the car for 1 hour and couldn't get out of our parking space, no cars were moving so had no choice but abandon the car and get a taxi to get home for the babysitters. This is all down to Leeds city council changing the road layout outside making it impossible for cars to leave the carpark on mass and can take 3 hours sometimes according to staff, this never used to be the case. I will never use this carpark again on an arena day! Absolute gridlock!!

DO NOT USE FOR ARENA EVENTS The carpark is not designed for mass exit, you will be waiting for an hour plus to leave after an arena event, better to park just down the road at Trafalgar Street car park for the same price and you will be able to leave it quickly.

Parked here last night for an event at the arena. Couldnt be any closer to the arena if it tried! Firstly, it's only Β£5 to park if you arrive from 1800hrs which is great. They had 2 staff members on the 2 entry gates to explain where the parking machines are (levels 2,4,6) and time pay for the parking first to save time at the end of the night. Plenty of parking (we arrived 1845hrs), parked on level 5. On exit there were staff on every floor to help manage the volume of traffic and make sure that people weren't stuck trying to exit if people wouldnt let them out etc. It flowed brilliantly. We were out within 15mins. Would recommend for its ease and good value.

DO NOT PARK HERE FOR AN ARENA EVENT. We've been sat stationary for over an hour so far, unable to leave. If they try to charge us extra because we've been stuck here past our booked time, I'll be sure to drop another negative review...

Zero ability to manage their traffic. 2 hours we queued to leave, marshals were stood in a group of 7 chatting on the ground floor rather than managing the ramps to help clear each floor. Do not park here unless you wish to be trapped with a double charge.

Seems the only complaints about Merrion centre carpark are related to the First Direct Arena! So why go into a multi storey carpark with only 1 exit through 2 barriers at a time when every car wants to leave at the same time???? Erm prob because you can through atone at the arena from the carpark right? A bit of advise for people who don't know the centre of Leeds very well and want to use the arena>> Park and ride from Elland road or Come by train and enjoy the stroll from the station because parking cars in Leeds centre is an expense nightmare which will guarantee ruin your night!!

We used this car park for an evening event at the first direct arena as it was Β£5 (after 1800 for the rest of the night) they had extra staff on the barriers letting cars flow into the car park so much quicker and being able to sort hold ups out on the spot. Would defo be using the car park again as it was also very clean, well lit, well staffed and well sign posted.

We went to the concert nearby. There were very large queues. It took a lot of time to get out from there. But organization was good.

Good placement for parking if you are going to first direct arena but be warned...getting out here will take you another hour! Probably best to park somewhere else if you can and walk.

we stayed at the Premier Inn Leeds Arena hotel just opposite the arena. all visitors at that hotel get a discount at this car park. plainly simple with lifts and stairs and there is plenty of parking spaces there.

THIS FIVE STAR 🌟 IS for front line staff Melanie who answered my wife's email gets ONE STAR 🌟 we stayed at Ibis hotel so get discount parking but if you pre book parking you don't get a ticket so the hotel can't validate your ticket. So you still pay £20 for twenty-four hours parking not the £10 discounted price. So if you are going to stay at the ibis don't pre book your parking.

Large multi story. Ideal for parking if you visiting for FDA Arena or shopping. We booked a park space just to make sure we had a park. If there for FDA you can have a meal in one of the many restaurants around the arena. We had a very tasty Thai meal and went to the local Wetherspoons which was rammed with concert goers. Good area and you can look in shops in Merrion Centre and StJohns shopping centre. Good experience. Bit hectic driving into the city centre but we managed it using the trusty Sat Nav πŸ˜‚

Venue was excellent. Security was tight, but civil, nowt to complain about. The venue looks big, but is actually much more tight.

Parked there from 1,30 pm until 10.30 pm to go to the arena only cost me Β£24 i thought they must have waxed and polished while I was gone but sadly not. it was only for the rental of a 8ft x 6ft square of concrete

Scam company avoid at all cost. We pre booked about 20 mins before arriving to watch a show at the arena, obviously we'd already left so couldn't take our roof box off to fit under the bar hanging down. We were told we can't use the car park unless we took it off but we had nowhere to put it (2 car seats in the car) we ended up going somewhere else so I asked for a refund which is reasonable for not using a service we've paid for and have a 14 day cooling off period as is our consumer rights. I was told to email head office but don't expect to get a refund. I have emailed head office and no response, I'll never use this car park again! Avoid!

Perfect location for a car park in the middle of Leeds. Not sure why the upper levels are coned off though. And for some reason the automatic barriers can't read raised fonts license plates. FYI and this is not fault of this car park: Merrion Street has changed from two lanes to one. So during peak hours it is a pain to get on this street 😠

After leaving Leeds Arena we ended up waiting on L6 for nearly a hour before traffic began to move. In the end it took 80 minutes to get out. Absolute joke. Why isn't the access controlled by veh reg recognition so you can pay and go? What if there was a fire? Massive health and safety risk. Avoid.

Great car park I always park there when visiting Leeds. Spacious and enough space for everyone. Annoying part is that cameras cant read my number plate properly and I always have issues of getting in or out. You need to sort that out because it happens every time.

Booked in to attend First Direct Arena. Trying to get in to the car park was difficult and although prebooked was told the basement was full so had to park level 6 or 7. Also warned that at exit it may take up to 2 hours to get out 😱😱. Chose to leave early from the arena five mins before the end which worked a treat. Easy exit, although as we pulled out a lot of people coming in so can imagine it would be carnage getting out. Car park has good sized parks saves denting doors, both lifts (small) and stairs and is a five min amble to the Arena. Charges were good I thought. Staff I interacted with were good too.

Parked here last weekend for a concert. Next door to the Arena, Leeds, very handy. Well lit. Afterwards we were impressed with the handling of the exits, the security guided us out, the barriers were up and we exited from the 3rd deck very quickly. Only holdup was just after the barrier, with the crowds crossing that road. They just kept coming and weren't stopping at all for cars to move past. So the carpark exiting isn't the issue (in my opinion) it's just the volume of people crossing the road.
