The perfect afternoon out if you like browsing over priced tat whilst members of staff breathe down your neck. My husband picked up a camera (he’s a collector) and was grabbed by the arm and escorted out of the shop. He didn’t ruin a carefully curated display - it was shelf they are all piled on to with no order. How can one purchase a film camera without taking a look first? Patronising, overbearing staff. We used to visit frequently but will not return.

This is an absolute must for anyone visiting Salts mill..a fantastic range of original antiques at affordable prices too..The staff are friendly and helpful. .but don't feel afraid to ask for keys to any of the dealers cabinets and you can always strike a good deal .. This place just gets better with age...such an amazing eclectic selection of Antiques and a wonderful atmosphere in here too..something for everyone ..Great Christmas ideas with unusual items..

Alan and Andrew and all of their staff always make you feel welcome and at ease, and able to wander around at your leisure to choose the perfect pieces for your collection. Well worth a look! Also, check out the amazing art works for sale!!

Some stuff you can touch, some stuff you can't and it's not immediately obvious which is which. I got shouted at a member of staff who was very rude and patronising. To the manager, I highly recommend putting important items in glass cases to avoid any unpleasant situations. To the customer, if you want a good experience go somewhere else.

Only wish I could give this place a zero star rating. Low quality and overpriced items that you can hardly see due excessive signage warning not to go anywhere near them. Was asked to leave the shop by over zealous and rude staff member who objected to me handling a small camera I was interested in purchasing. Would avoid.

Salts Mill is a lovely setting for this antiques shop. There are lots of interesting stalls to look at and on this visit we bought several items. It's really well laid out and well kept. The chaps who work there are fun and friendly too!

First time visiting Saturday 30th July, was amazed by the size of the place, got some good buys, All the staff are so helpful and welcoming, I will definitely be going back

Previous visits provided variety in antique and objects of interest. Sadly on this occasion, items overpriced, displays overcrowded and cluttered to the point where pieces appeared to be spewing out onto the floor. Definitely needs a revamp of the layout to enhance the experience to fit in with the rest of the fabulous mill and what it has to offer.

Very overpriced. I have been going round antique shops all over the country for years and this place is just ripping you off.i definitely will not go back.most of the stuff is tat and even that is expensive. Look on ebay or online you will save alot of money.

Lovely selection of antiques also well set out. Definitely worth a visit bigger than you think

Hate and ignorance spreading in this store with ‘gollies’. Disgusting for people to be profiting of this rubbish and making people feel uncomfortable.

Saw this globe, and it had old names like Rhodesia, a rare to find, was a bit pricey.
