The general staff are great as ever, unfortunately I can't say the same for the Dr's! Dr Swanepoel at my appointment (one I'd never seen before) had absolutely no interest in me or my quality of life, just my medication. I don't think he even looked at my records outside of that department?! And whilst I had no issue with the decision made without MY input, I was given no set plan or time frame going forward. I had to ask about that myself and wasn't given as much as a vague answer. No advice was given on how to handle my pain during the fallout but then he showed no interest in the existing cause of my pain and associated health issues either! These problems don't just disappear! And when I asked about a specific issue, I was referred back to the surgical department. You wait months for an appointment, just to be told something that you already knew; I wanted to know what happens next and I still don't have an answer. I feel abandoned with my pain and frustrated to tears because I'm not being listened too. When did the patient get replaced by a computer, although I guess that happens with career complacency. If my appointment was a reflection of a current trend then this department has really reached the bottom in the last 10yrs.

A lady i know visits this clinic for dialysis and is constantly being mistreated at the dialysis ward, she feels discriminated as caution isn’t taken when her dialysis treatment comes to an end as they cause her to lose large amounts of blood when they remove the pipe from the fistula in her arm and blood oozes everywhere even causing the staff to be in shock and panic. this happens every-time she has her dialysis and is causing her discomfort and she is panicking about every treatment. If she continues losing blood it is dangerous for her and the clinic are not listening to any complaints or taking this situation seriously.

Just phoned Physiotherapy at 5:06pm. The answer machine just said “This phone line is now closed” then I was cut off. That was it. No opening times, no email address provided. And according to the text I received asking me to ring, I get discharged if I don’t call within two weeks. I work full time. It’s annoying.

If you ever need to contact them it’s the worst and terrible place to call- phone not being answered for hours but when you come in the reception they are sitting and talking between each other while phone lines are ringing non stop. Was calling a morning before the appointment to confirm the time but because nobody never answered the phone we missed an appointment and when came to reception said we can’t disclose information of what time your grandfather’s appointment is. Just ridiculous!

Car park is appalling. Very limited space, only one ticket machine working for at least 3 weeks so the queue was half an hour. Can't pay by phone, only use coins (like in the 90s) and card.

The X-ray department is like going back to the 80’s . No seating , cramped and uncomfortable. Decor is Victorian at best. The worst experience for a sick person and most had been waiting more than 2 hours .

The 1 star is for the doorman who I assume is meet and greet .All he did was bark orders at people.I tried to approach him to ask about local taxi numbers he just pointed to reception and mumbled that he can't phone a taxi .I didn't ask him to .All the time I observed him he never stood up from his chair instead he was pretending to be busy taking masks out of the boxes and handling them from one hand to another or placing them on his lap .Please someone tell him they are not meant to be handled ..leave them in the box!! I can't even fathom why he felt it necessary to do this !! Not impressed with the meet and greet if that's what he's there for !

Have X-Ray appointment, came here on time, still waiting to be accepted (more than 30mins wait now), whats the point of them making appointments if its never on time, but when you are late they will not accept you!!

Attended Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery level 0 for a few appointments this year. Every single member of staff pleasant, patient and caring. Very knowledgeable consultants who spent a lot of time explaining everything to me and answering questions. Only reason I didn't give 5/5 is the waiting room needs updating a little nothing to do with the staff. Thank you for all your help.

I wish I could leave no stars my experience in the maxifacial unit was a nightmare I thought that the days of treatment like that were over I was so wrong! After my first experience in the unit I was so pleased but the second time with a different dentist was shocking and worse than my manor row days years ago! Never again !

All disabled parking spaces had Portacabins or building equipment in them. No planning or contingencies for disabled drivers. Hospital Management don’t give a dam.

My mother was transferred here from the BRI after a hip operation, to say she wanted to get out of there as soon as possible, was an understatement .... phoning the ward for information or an update was met with an abrupt offhand non-caring stinky attitude ! ... If you can't be polite and courteous to family member when they phone, then you're defiantly in the wrong job.
