👍 I work here so I'm in a good position to review especially for those coming first time and when I first came here I got utterly lost so best advice I can give for directions is this: the No1 problem people have is getting to Outpatients so start off by checking your appointment letter - if it states... Not a great deal to say about this once wonderful hospital . On entry to the grounds it gives the impression of a very old run down and almost redundant hospital . Some of the buildings have been modernised and some look as if they haven’t been touched for years . Even the paths and roads are not clean and clear and parts are boarded up and some buildings have been demolished . I can’t comment on what facilities are still available on site I went back again during the week and judging by the amount of cars parked all around the place it’s still being used . The outpatients department is very modern and has its own car park . I don’t think this hospital has an A&E and appears closed at weekends . This in turn gave us plenty of parking space . !!! I took a wheelchair walk around the grounds and sure enough parts of the place are fenced off and buildings boarded up There are several areas that have been cleared and fenced off bu now all covered in grass and scrub like nature is taking it back Some of the footpaths have been upgraded and some are not. It’s a good hundred metres to the main door . Part of the footpath was being rebuilt today but some is still missing . I had to ride on the road to get to the main building. However I noticed there is work taking place on the site and a good sized new disabled car park is close by. I couldn’t go all the way around this sprawling site but at least it’s being used Parts of the grounds are now a housing estate. I think that the use of heavy construction lorries has helped to destroy the once smooth clean roadways . At least the unit I visited is very modern .One of the good things I noticed is a lot of scrub bushes and general detritus has been removed and rather than be all doom and gloom about this VERY under resourced hospital and it’s grounds I posted some pics of some of the beautiful trees that occupy them. A definite shock to the system and a bit like two time zones in places. Car park charges still apply .

I work here so I'm in a good position to review especially for those coming first time and when I first came here I got utterly lost so best advice I can give for directions is this: the No1 problem people have is getting to Outpatients so start off by checking your appointment letter - if it states Main Outpatients it's the first building on your right as you come off the York Rd (has a curved glass roof) and has parking - look for the blue bus shelter where tickets are issued either at machine or via phone. They do all general things here so don't head down to the entrance at the roundabout UNLESS it states N Ward on your letter. If you're going to Orthotics/ orthopaedics or Eye ward then follow the inner road all the way around past Outpatients to the end and there is parking opposite where the ambulances come in ( look for the white lean-to entrance). There is a small cafe in the main building if you need a rest and drink (Fonta Nella) run by a lovely lady who loves her job so have a chat: its open from 8am to 2pm serving coffees teas cold drinks and sandwiches and pies with good seating. If you get to stroll down the long, long main corridoor with its vintage Victorian cast iron curves it's kind of worth it as part of the enigmatic overall Seacroft hospital experience! Apart from this everyone's very friendly and trying to do their very best in difficult circumstances ;)

Worst possible fertility clinic in the entire UK. They don't care about patient and it is all about money making. You cannot get appointment on NHS but if you pay for private then Doctor can see you as soon as. These GPS then want pay rise from NHS as well but not serve NHS. Since pandemic they have become more greddy.

Small but very friendly. A great little hospital. Very friendly and helpful staff. Visited as an outpatient, was in and out in no time. Lots of free parking. The place to go if you need X-Rays.

Very covid aware in here. I came with my boyfriend to find out if I had PCOS, was extremely nervous. Nurse wanted to let my boyfriend in the waiting room Receptionist refused. Receptionist in Ultrasound clearly did not want to be there. Please just find a new job if you do not like it instead of talking down to others.

I wasn't expecting to be asked to come for tests after having my routine mammogram and was more than nervous to attend my appointment at Seacroft hospital. Everyone was absolutely amazing, the treatment, although painful was quickly and professionally carried out with the friendliest of staff. Thank you to everyone who made me feel at ease during my treatment. Somehow coming to a small dedicated clinic was less distressing .

So I have been to this hospital a number of times for a number of different departments. The main one being that of the pain clinic which is on the right as you go in, down a narrow little road and like 2 parking bays. The hospital it’s self other that the Terrible parking and poor signage isn’t too bad. It’s very difficult to find anywhere and then you end up walking for miles inside. My main gripe is that some of the doctors here think that they are indeed gods gift. Having been the the pain clinic a few times now, if you have an invisible illness ..... trust me, you do not want to have to come here at all. I mean I’m not saying ALL the doctors here are like this, however ALL of the ones I have seen have been. They make you think you are loosing the plot. Make you think that everything is in your head and actually get to the point of being suicidal. Yes. Suicidal. I know my own body and I know it’s not in my head. I am a wheelchair user and it’s not just because I am too lazy to walk that I use it. I have heard many many other people leaving very upset. One girl left this place in tears the other week. I have heard many people condemning this place. I go to a meeting for my condition which is held every month and of all the people who attend, I would say 90% of the people have been to Seacroft pain team and of those people only 5% had anything good to say about them and that is probably because those people had a an also VISIBLE disability such as an amputee or something else visible where as the rest of us do not. If you do not want to be given the label “it’s in your head” or something similar and you have a condition that is known as an invisible illness / disability. DO NOT risk coming here because trust me it can be much more dangerous coming here thinking you will be helped when really you are not. I would strongly advise you request medical records too after being here as what they say to your face is not always necessarily what they write on your records. Again I found this to be true of my records and that of some of the group members I attend. The reason I have given 2 stars is that this isn’t just the review page for pain management services and there are some other, fantastic departments in here such as prosthetics, orthotics and a few other departments I have visited.

The experience was OK but not easy to navigate the way to the hospital. Otherwise, it was great because doctors were very supportive and friendly even to me.

Had to visit today for an appointment, if driving past the closed blocks of flats and the still smoldering remains of a burnt out white van outside the hospital weren't enough to ring alarm bells for me, it somehow turned out to be the absolutely the worst laid out hospital I've ever had the misfortune to visit. The hospital is split into loads of different buildings/blocks. Zero signs outside the hospital for the department I needed, the website doesn't list which block it was in. Ended up doing two loops.of the hospital trying to find it. Asked a staff member for directions and they gave me a blank look and just ignored me and walked away. Fantastic. Ended up asking an employee of an independent company that works out of a building in the hospital, who informed me that the place I needed didn't have a sign and to follow signs for the cafe and then to knock on a door with a different department name on. If only the hospital employees could of given me such detailed instructions. If you have any choice of referral locations, absolutely do not use Seacroft even if it's the closest to you. 1 out of 5 stars purely the beautiful cursed turtles and sonic mural on one of the walls outside. Without this my rating would be 0/5 - Recommended for demolition.

Attended a training course here for work. The staff here were very helpful. Car park is very expensive £11.00 for the day and the machine which only accepts cards wasn't working so had to pay cash. Otherwise no issues

If you are looking for an additional stress, then choose this hospital. As a private patients, we spoke most of the time to the answer machine. Nurses never called back. Appointments were cancelled one after another without giving any explanation. To arrange next appointment I had to spent all day calling private patient department and any random numbers I could find. Anyone who is having treatment in this hospital, I am wishing you all the best

I have been coming to seacroft hospital for a number of years. My visits started for the N ward which is for outpatients appointments who deal with MS. Never had issues with parking or the staff all are very friendly , polite and very professional. And then recently I starting going to the prosthetic department as I had a above knee amputation last year and now go for my weekly physio session here. Again all the staff are very friendly and professional. Parking for the disabled was a huge problem for a while until they started building some more which has made a huge difference now.

As a ‘walk- in’ hospital- fairly organised. X- rays efficiently carried out- nurse a little patronising. However why does it take 2 weeks to provide the results to my GP?

Every time I visit the hospital, the staff are friendly and they don't keep you waiting long, be it a scan or taking of bloods.
