The nurse on the triage now are now diagnosing children infants over the phone! how can they diagnose children over the phone told it was a viral infection over phone wasn't given an appointment had to call next day literary had to beg for a appointment, when doctors checked daughter it was a chest infection. Please stop diagnosing children over the phone without being seen!! Would change doctors but in walking distance soo just got to stick to this practice and keep complaining until the patient service improves.

Avoid this place like the plague, The new staff don't have a clue what they are doing, Breaching Health and Safety by expecting to put biohazardous material into the normal bin!! This was done infront of a waiting room full of patients! They do not have the patients best intrests at heart as much as they claim. Waited 4 months for an asthma review that is suppose to happen every month!!! Now it's been transferred to the hospital because it's so severe! No thanks to this hell hole of a doctors! If it wasn't for the fact it was walking distance i would have removed myself from here years ago!

Good luck getting an appointment for anything non-urgent. Only service available is getting triaged by a nurse if you can get down to the surgery before 8am. Getting to see an actual doctor is about as likely as coming across a unicorn. Even when you see the nurse all she ever says is see how it is in a week then come back if you feel you need to. Useless place. Better to wait until you're on death's door then head to A&E.

This practice is designed and staffed by Michael from the Bad Place. I've been with this practice since childhood (2006-2022) and they've given me so much medical trauma. Also impossible to get an appointment. The phone call Hunger Games isn't accessible to disabled people so we end up with no access to healthcare. The receptionist was scary and unhelpful when I needed help with the NHS app. They said it didn't exist, even though I'd gotten a letter about it and it definitely exists because the C0VID era made it mandatory. I was denied my own log-in details so I still can't log in. I can tick "gaslit by a receptionist" off my bucket list. 🤣 I had one doctor call me a liar when I said that my mother was abusive. It was sensitive information I'd never shared before and it made me s*icid*l on the way home. They mistook my Autistic body language as deception. Another doctor gave me a long, useless lecture about how I should just try to do things, after I'd already said that I can't do various tasks because of disability. I don't enjoy having more violence perpetrated against me. They have no training in dealing with minority neurotypes and will actively harm you. Yet another doctor dismissed my lifelong structural heart problem as female anxiety, so I still have no information on this issue. It's harmful when you muster up the courage to seek help & communicate something, only to be told you're imagining it. I recently had a dangerous arrhythmia that threatened cardiac arrest and I can't help thinking about the doctor that gaslit me about it. I've had a cumulative total of about 2 positive experiences in 16 years of being at the practice. My new one in Nottingham is a utopia in comparison. It's like this practice doesn't care about you and actively wants to hurt you.

Terrible doctor surgery. Only same-day appointments and no booking in advance. I told the receptionist I felt dizzy and had ear problems but she failed to book me an appointment that day and subsequent days after. Most of the medicine I have been prescribed has not cleared up my problems and I have spent over 50pounds on prescriptions. The best doctor there was Dr. Al Bazi but she was not available very often at all. Doctors also misdiagnosed me after a test without my knowledge. Theydid not notify me at all e.g. by phone. It was only after I went to the doctor surgery to book an appointment for another problem that they mentioned my diagnosis to me... awful.

Incompetent receptionists who are hired as gatekeepers to stop you seeing a G.P. New patients are being registered when the centre is unable to provide care and appointments to the patients already registered. This medical centre used to be great a few years ago.Covid has ruined getting to see a G.P

Absolute joke of a Doctors. Try to ring up and you get hung up on whilst in a que. On the rare occasion you can get a hold of them they tell you to ring them back later or that they’ll ring you back that day but never do. The receptionist is beyond rude and lacks any compassion and respect. My family have been medically neglected, They have failed to provide any standard of care as is their duty. I will be reporting them.

Shocking service lines meant to open at 8.30 and they didn’t go live until 9 I got through to them at 9.24 and apparently all appointments are fully booked but they could give me a appointment nearly a month away with physio that is ridiculous how are working people meant to wait that long are they saying I should just stay off work until I get a appointment it’s ridiculous the place needs shutting down

Absolutely wonderful. Everyone there is so nice and kind. Had to go every morning for couple weeks to see the nurse to change my bandages. Without a doubt the nurse Nicole would make my day to say my appointment was early in the morning at 7:40 she was brilliant. She was so caring and helpful. Thumbs up its great to see this wonderful outstanding service provided by the NHS in Bradford. We need more people and more lovely people like Nurse Nicole to take care of the community making things a better place and people feel happy and safe knowing we are in good safe hands :) thanks guys #team Howarth road medical centre

Rung to get my poorly son checked by a doctor and was told no appointments left so someone would call me back. Doctor rang back prescribed medication over phone and asked which chemist should they send it to then it was sent to a different chemist who didn’t have the medication in stock. Just sums this place up hopefully will be moving the family to another surgery.

Waited over 30mins to get answer we are fully booked and do the e-consult or ring back tomorrow. They need to understand Not everyone can use the online booking page and find it difficult. Feel like I’m bullied over the phone, not the best experience but there is no other option but to follow what the reception staff say

You'll never get an appointment no matter what you do. Absolutely horrible behaviour.

😠 If I could rate a zero I would. Hands down the worst GP service I have ever received. It is almost impossible to get in touch with reception and even after you've waited 3/4 hours to speak to someone (if the call doesn't get dropped) they're so so rude and horrible. If you go into the surgery it's e...

👍👍 Lovely park with a little bit something for everyone. Play park for the kids which includes frames, slides, zip line and swings. Benches for those of us that just want to sit and watch the world go by, or a nice path for a walk and chat. There’s a decent fish shop on the corner, and a number of goo...
