My Eldery Father had cancelled his membership a while back by contacting the gym, however this gym continued to take direct debit payments. So my Father's been in touch and they have said they'll provide the refund but its been quite a few weeks since my Father gave his personal details. His has to chase them, ring them and visit them daily (when COVID cases are at a high) to be told Manager's is not in to action the refund. When my Father goes to the person at the reception desk, they just simply state "oh managers not in today", then carries on giggling with someone who attends the gym but was happy to ask for proof of DD which my Father provided including bank statements with all personal details. They didn't care he is old and more at risk against COVID, he has come get in contact every day. Shouldn't there be a manager to supervise the GYM during the day? Surely, not every day for the past few weeks not one manager is available to action a refund which is an error of the Gym. This to me sounds like a major DPA breach and discrimination! We still don't know who has my fathers personal bank documentation. This seems like potentially fraudulent people working here and they laugh at my Father indian accent as well when he speaks - this is not right! How can you treat an Eldery person like? This is unacceptable, poor and unethical.

Updated to 5*: Thank you to the manager who dealt with these concerns. I shall leave the old review in-case others have similar misconceptions. ————— I am going to leave a critical review for the reason that the management take in consideration my feedback and ultimately provide a resolution for these matters: 1.) despite being a member you can not book a recurring weekly session of badminton, rather you have to very inconveniently ring to book it every single week. I cannot for the life of me, understand how this provides any benefit to anyone? This is operationally inefficient way of working. I will be emailing management to request a change to this way of booking courts. 2.) there are no male-only swimming sessions. From my understanding there is female-only but no male-only, despite their being a clear demand for it.

I have used the swimming facilities here. The pool is warm, the changing area and showers are clean. It was fairly quiet when we went for the general swim, it is child friendly. The showers are nice and hot. The staff are friendly. The pool is open to the public, you do need to book beforehand.

Good and supporting staff specially in reception. Have a lot of sporting activities inside. Got a very good and clean pool and separate locker facility. Skme machines on gym were missing and out of order.. rather than that overall allbis good. Swimming schedule is attached.

Excellent swimming facilities and great helpful staff at the desk, as well as the lesson instructors for children's swim lessons. Has a variety of classes available to book online after you join as a member. Would definitely recommend.

Went for the ladies only swim for the 1st time today. Was extremely busy and was luck to swim as only 30 places due to only 1 female lifeguard (ladies were not happy with an additional male to help increase numbers) you are unable to book inadvance so its a lucky dip to see the availability on a Sunday afternoon. £5 for adults and £2.50 for under 16s. Shame not more sessions available for female only swim especially now its the only local place to go swimming:(

Really nice and friendly gym, only down side you can't book swimming and it first comes first serve and doesn't help people that work.

Friendly staff , excellent service and clean . A variety of classes , machines and areas to book out with friends to play games . Shower area is clean and tidy . Gets very busy at peak times but during the morning it’s quite . Very safe gym most areas can only be accessed by tapping your member card .

Very small car park. Slow customer service, gym, sports hall and swimming pool good.

Something I needed all in one gym only downfall is public swimming times are mostly during day or before 7pm no late swim like there used to be now its all ubu classes running from 8 till 10

Few hygiene issues and weirdos in the pool. Unique need to advise members to not spit in a corner of a changing room and find it OK to put a BIG piece of phlegm there. I've only used the pool side for 1-2-1 swimming lessons, but I think it needs renovating pretty soon and strict rules need implementing for users of the pool area, to a) Not do their dirty business anywhere b) to not stare and smirk at other users of the pool. Highly uncomfortable, feels like you're possibly in a pool with people freshly released from Lynfield Mount hospital.

This fitness studio has a very wide range of options. I am enjoying the boxing class, some other classes, the gym and pool, and many other choices.

If you looking to start swimming as beginner I will recommend UNIQUE FITNESS. Here you can apply for lessons, monthly or annual membership. I am having good experience with Unique Fitness. The swimming trainer Nicola is really good trainer. Along with trainer supporting staff really helpful. I got good support from Keagan, Bill, Matt, Chris & other staffs. With all support and guidance from all staff I am manage to learn swimming in 10 weeks with 3 different styles. Thank you.

Nice place to go rock climbing but to go to the top and use a harness you need a trained person their - however their is barely a trained person their most of the time

Need to revise opening times, especially on weekends, equipment and facilities are of a good standard. It's good they don't lock you into an annual membership and you can leave any time.

I had an exam so it was annoying lol but other than that the sports hall is really big
