It's become a real home. I'm not reviewing after 'trying it' for a week, or even a month or two. I'm reviewing after investing a few years, and growing with them as a family. Incredible teaching, real people who will help me tackle my real life, and give me something I haven't found anywhere else. They've become my family who would do anything for me. That's the kind of church I want to be in!

This church is incredibly welcoming, the moment you walk through the doors you feel the love and genuine interest/compassion that the regulars show towards you. I have the immense privilege of being able to call this place my 'home'.

For anyone considering going to this church: I highly recommend you don't. It's not safe to have civil and reasonable disagreements in this church. I approached the pastors wife with a verse from 1 Timothy calmly and posed my disagreement as a question. She responded passive aggressively, accusing me of "judging her heart," that I won't fit in too well in the church etc. She then called her husband (the pastor) to talk to me and I was happy to talk to him, no problem. 🙂 However, he not only became passively agressive but very quickly agressive. He ultimately said I was not welcome in "his church" despite that it should be *Gods* church and if he's going to practice church discipline he should use the bible and and not his personal prejudice towards people. I intentionally kept a calm tone because I wanted my words to be received well but he threatened to call the police. Then when I tried to get others to join the conversation as witnesses he grabbed my arm and denied that he grabbed my arm. No one in the church stood up for me at all and they just looked at me with contempt, it was at that point I knew I wasn't in a church, I was in a cult. After the service I called the church administration and asked to put in a complaint. When I was pleading my case and saying I'd done nothing wrong she quickly became rude and said she was busy. I didn't have to press her much for her to admit that she wasn't busy, she just wanted to hang up. And so she abruptly did. This church doesn't worship Christ, I don't say that lightly, they worship their church. Shame on you if you're reading this pastor and all those who didn't have the courage to do what's right to obey your cult leader you call your pastor. Shame on you. Some day your church will have to come under the judgement of God, and whether it stands or crumbles depends on how faithful you are to Christ, not any man. You have a duty to preach Gods word and you're starving every sincere heart who walks through your doors. There's no truth in suppressing all voices of dissension. This church is perfect for you if you're willing to be a slave to a cult but not if you want to follow Christ. A response to the reply on this review: When I asked the question about the bible verse on women in leadership I never said anything about the woman who preached nor did I have any one person or church in mind. It was an innocent question which came from a place of curiosity. But not only did you demonise and criminalise that, you're now turning it back on me instead of accepting responsibility for your reaction. How did you try to end the conversation peacefully? Because grabbing my arm and threatening to call the police on me despite the fact that I was non-aggressive is not what I would call the peaceful approach. Disgraceful.
