They may be well established and have good rating but i personally found the staff to be very rude and condescending. They potter about doing their own thing and show very little in the way of customer service or even feeling welcomed. I felt out of place asking anything as the last bloke almost sneered in reply. Wont go back. One star because i cant give it zero.

Staff were really helpful in answering any questions, clearly know their stuff which was very reassuring. Fish are beautiful here we got ours from here and they have been thriving since we got them (had them for at least 5 months now). Would definitely recommend coming here if buying any aquatic creatures. The fish also looked very healthy/ tanks and general area very clean.

Went to pick a fish up tonight from work, rang four times between 4 and 5 pm to make sure they were closing at 5.30, once engaged others not answered. Got there for 5.15, due to close at 5.30. The lad was closing up and wasn’t bothered! I can’t keep a fish in a bag in my car all afternoon! He was not bothered and suggested I had left it late to collect it! Have to work and have to travel from work! Poor service! Used them for over 20 years but won’t be going back.

Best tropical fish shop in Bradford district bar none. Great standard of fish and good knowledge too. Been around for years so obviously reputable.

I purchased 5 Koi on Sunday. I pointed out a dead fish only to be told it’s still breathing. On Tuesday night I found one of mine dead. Rang QSS and was asked about my water balance being ok. I have 30+ fish in there some over 25 years. Sorry won’t use QSS again

Don't buy from here I spent 53 pound on tropical fish and it killed every fish in my tank I rung them and they tried to say it was my water I took some down to shop he tested it and then said water was fine never offered to replace any fish they have cost me around 200 pound I've now got to start all over again just because they have sold me a bad fish not happy

Absolutely fab place. We had a problem with our pond and losing our fish so i phoned for advice ...they were amazing !! Offered us a pond water check if we took a sample down and advised us accordingly when he had rested the water. Wasnt out to rip us off like some places we have been to in the past. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. Thank you really impressed and we will not shop anywhere else now for our pond supplies. Well done fab service

Great staff very helpful the only place I will buy my koi and a great place to get all essentials they also have a large selection of discus and tropical fish would definitely recommend

Awful service. I bought a few fish from them and they died very soon after. Horrendous. It doesn't help that the staff look like they want to you put of the shop.

Bought over £100 worth of fish few hours later there where all dead went beck to the shop to resolve the issue and they where very condescending towards me blaming me for the water being bad and we as a family have over 10 tanks all perfectly fine and happy but when we bought them from here they where all dead in a letter of 4 hours

The best selection of tropical fish for miles, always healthy and the staff breed some amazing Betta 🐠🐟🐠 if you catch them on the right day they'll have an amazing plant selection but be quick!

Awesome experience, the Lady and Gentleman today (Sunday 28/05/2023) at 1.30pm were really really helpful. I asked a few questions and they were very informative and polite answering. Honestly the best experience I have received from local fish shops. Quality of the fish was also immaculate. Thank you.

Diverse selection of marine life; outdoor/indoors, overall, the best shop in Bradford in regards to pricing. I've met ALL the staff there & everyone besides 1 male is absolutely helpful and a delight. That one male (bearded & grumpy like he's just found a fish in his pants) shouldn't belong in that great shop, I can guarantee the majority of the negative comments below are through his doing because like I said everyone else in that shop was amazing as customer service goes... But that guy should just clean the tanks when the shops closed. Peace

All the staff were nice, friendly and informative. Emma in particular has been great! I purchased my axolotl from the store (pictures attached) and she has given me all the necessary information needed and has been there if I need to call up for any advice. 10 out of 10 service would definitely shop with QSS again!

Been today for some clown loach. I have to give a big well done to them. The fish and tanks are so clean and well kept. Cleaner than living world and cheaper than pet city & tong garden centre. My new favourite place to buy tropical fish. Also a massive shout out to the lady that was serving us, she was lovely and very friendly.

Poor service they do not give true advice to fish owners like myself. All they seem to be interested in is getting in the sales rather than the customer care. Also lie to you too. Avoid at all costs!

Nice clean tanks, and a knowledgeable chap. I didn't realise what bad condition my others were in when I bought them, until I saw my new ones from this place. Don't think I'll go anywhere else now.

We're planning a pond in our garden and were recommended to visit this place for ideas and advice by some pond-owning friends. The place is a former pub and it's external appearance belies its large interior and range of stuff including fish, inside. They have a good range and examples of ponds under cover at the back and a staff member was happy to talk us through the whole process of pond construction based upon what we had so far. Great advice - we'll be back when the pond has been dug out.

Always go here for fish have done for years but the people who serve you are so miserable and called in today and spent £40 and I asked for four guppies different colours and even pointed out the ones I wanted but got all same colour not happy
