The shop is well stocked, and the staff are knowledgable. Unfortunately their knowledge does not stretch to politeness, being friendly, or good customer service. I won't be returning, which is a shame, as the shop itself is good. Life is too short to be miserable and rude, somebody should tell them.

Good supply of fish, but the staff could be a bit friendlier, the last time I went it seemed as if the bloke behind the counter was not interested in serving me because he was too busy of his phone. When I asked questions was I was spoken to very abruptly and was made to feel very unwelcome. I have been visiting here since my children were young (30 years ago). I now take my granddaughter who loves going to see the fish. I am just glad that she didn't understand his rudeness. I always spend money when I am there, so it's not that I am a just spectator. A customer service course would go along way.

I was in today and spent a good amount too,there had a good stock of tropical,but the only negative I have is the customer care,the man behind the counter wasent helpful at all.he dident seem to want to awnser any of my questions or my wife and sisters too,he acted like he just didn't want to be there,apart from that they was lacking some common species like guppy and molly and platysbut again apart from that it was good

Great shop, product range and fish. Customer service is rough to say the least. Barely acknowledge you if at all, but if you're one of their regulars they seem to pay attention to them. Not the way to get new customers.

The rudest shop worker I've ever met. That's the bald guy with the glasses. Thinks he's better than his customers. But like I mentioned, he is a shop worker. Never going to that place again.

This was Best place locally for all things koi and sturgeon. I am a new customer and only started coming towards the end of the second lockdown. This place and the friendly staff, beautiful fish and reasonable prices will be surely missed. I wish all the staff well in there future and would like to thank them for all there time and patience.

Staff can't be bothered at all its like they have been there for 60 years now it's a choir tropical tanks are in old condition and fish are washed out prices are OK and there was a limited choice

Fabulous array of the finest koi carp available in the UK. Founder John and his team are very knowledgeable. Quite a spectacle!

We recently bought 3 starlets from this company, within 3 days all 3 died, my pond is a well established pond with air stones and filters, they agreed to refund my money as per 7 day guarantee, 1 month plus still waiting and won't acknowledge any emails, never again.

Wow think the bloke ( bald &glasses) who took my money yesterday (not served me as that would mean interacting) needs a course in customer service we were quite obviously a thorn in his side yesterday when we travelled there to buy fish. Grunted one word answers and was definitely not suited for a role in retail. We will spend our hard earned cash in other aquatic stores in the future his attitude stinks. If he's a member of staff sack him as not the right job for him

First and last time, I do not appreciate been talked down to by the condescending half wit behind the counter.

Lots of different types of fish cold or hot. There are different types of tanks and stuff to put in there.

Best place to get advice, staff always interested in customer concerns, money making is secondary. Fish welfare is paramount. Always a pleasure.
