Living
locally
this
area
is
definitely
worth
the
visit
.
Itβs
like
a
bit
of
countryside
on
the
North
West
of
the
city
of
Leeds
.Its
available
7
days
a
week
right
through
the
year
.
No
matter
how
many
times
you
come
here
itβs
always
different
.
Of
course
being
local
has
great
advantages
to
be
able
to
visit
in
all
four
seasons
.
The
distance
around
the
tarn
is
just
over
.7
mile
and
the
footpath
access
is
easily
accessible
for
everyone
,
young
and
old
,
pushchairs
and
wheelchairs
NB
bicycles
are
frowned
upon
.
However
there
is
a
BMX
track
next
to
the
car
park
via
cemetery
road
.
There
are
two
car
parks
and
the
other
one
is
found
at
the
high
street
just
past
the
fish
and
chip
shop
.
There
is
also
a
boat
yard
and
a
childrenβs
play
park
.
The
public
πΎ
toilets
are
there
too
and
the
disabled
toilet
facilities
require
you
to
have
a
radar
key
π.
The
park
also
has
a
band
stand
and
plenty
of
open
space
.
Time
slows
down
here
,
and
you
can
meander
around
the
lake
at
your
leisure
.
There
are
ample
seats
to
rest
on
or
just
to
take
in
the
view
.
There
is
an
abundance
of
water
based
birds
and
also
a
model
boat
club
.
You
May
wish
to
watch
the
boats
or
even
the
aircraft
coming
and
going
from
the
nearby
airport
.There
is
no
charge
for
car
parking
.
But
be
advised
not
to
leave
things
in
plain
view
in
your
car
.
As
I
said
before
the
circular
footpath
is
all
flat
,
wide
and
level
and
there
are
several
other
footpaths
that
link
up
to
the
Tarn
