Boring, soulless. Decent size car park, very short walk of about 10-15 minutes. Plenty of seats so good for the elderly or immobile. Flat, circular walk, plenty of dog walkers, picnic benches, area to feed the ducks, small playground for children. Sorry to not be more positive but not worth returning.

Well maintained paths. Minimal dog fouling which is nice to see. Plenty of seats around the tarn. Tables for picnicing. Ideal for watching aircraft take off from LBA. Kids can feed the ducks and geese. No cafes close by unless you head for the high street.

Good for a stroll around if short on time as it's not too big. Added bonus if you like watching planes land as its beside the runway of LBA

Lovely place to walk around. Decent paths that are flat. Plenty of parking spaces in two car parks. Was quite busy today with yachts, fishing and people walking. Would recommend a visit.

A truly wonderful day. Living so close I often go there, and taking lots of photos. There's plenty of cafe's down Yeadon high street.

Even on a warm day it can be really breezy. Really nice to walk round the tarn itself, feed the swans, ducks, geese watch planes taking off from Leeds Bradford Airport. Very popular and can get really busy so sometimes dodging pushchairs, dogs and small children on bikes, worth it though

Lots of parking, safe wide path around the tarn for kids, ducks to feed (can even buy duck food Β£1 a bag) a great little play park and sometimes an ice cream van. A bike track / park hidden round the back near alternative car park. Popular with fisherman and model boat society of some sort there at times! Convenient to walk into the centre if you need post office or Morrisons etc.

The tarn is approximately a mile the whole way around so a lovely walk, can have large puddles on wet days. Fantastic park for the kids, usually and ice cream truck . No working public toilets currently. We counted 25 hungry swans today!

The 1st time I came here would have been in1960 fishing with a friend, the tarn had plenty of good sized fish some big carp, roach and breem as well as the smaller gudgeon and sticlebacks, as for the tarn itself not really changed that much there's plenty of wildlife here, birds and small mammals, as for size of the tarn it takes approximately 35/40 minutes to walk around it, parking is available inside the park, all in all quite a pleasant afternoon.

The place was beautiful during lockdown , now it's disgusting over populated. Humans leaving their rubbish everywhere I seen Swans eat litter what has ended up in the dam. Humans are disgraceful. No respect for nature.

I love Yeadon Tarn.It has fond family memories,I've even had a bench installed for my Grandparents who also loved it there. Its lovely & peaceful, despite being next to the runway of the airport. It's a place to watch the world go by.

I have been going to Yeadon Tarn//Dam since I was a kid and I’m old enough to remember it before the airport extension was built. I even remember the huts that where placed all around the dam, great places to hang out with friends and keep dry from the rain. I also remember going to the boys club. I guess walking around the tarn has that nostalgic feel to it. It’s a great place to see the wildlife, go fishing, ride you bmx at the local bmx track. I bring my kids to the park and on warm sunny days it’s great to sit and enjoy a picnic.

Really nice place for a walk with a good play ground for the kids. You can watch planes take off and land or watersports on the lake. There is also a BMX pump track and free parking.

Living locally this area is definitely worth the visit . It’s like a bit of countryside on the North West of the city of Leeds .Its available 7 days a week right through the year . No matter how many times you come here it’s always different . Of course being local has great advantages to be able to visit in all four seasons . The distance around the tarn is just over .7 mile and the footpath access is easily accessible for everyone , young and old , pushchairs and wheelchairs NB bicycles are frowned upon . However there is a BMX track next to the car park via cemetery road . There are two car parks and the other one is found at the high street just past the fish and chip shop . There is also a boat yard and a children’s play park . The public 🚾 toilets are there too and the disabled toilet facilities require you to have a radar key πŸ”‘. The park also has a band stand and plenty of open space . Time slows down here , and you can meander around the lake at your leisure . There are ample seats to rest on or just to take in the view . There is an abundance of water based birds and also a model boat club . You May wish to watch the boats or even the aircraft coming and going from the nearby airport .There is no charge for car parking . But be advised not to leave things in plain view in your car . As I said before the circular footpath is all flat , wide and level and there are several other footpaths that link up to the Tarn

Yeadon Tarn is beautiful short walk for children and adults. I personally find the park poor in design as it seems to miss 5-10 ages out of its design. It has free parking and the airport is next door creating a unique back drop of planes landing and taking off !

Purpose built path round a boating lake, lovely trip out for little ones and close to the airport observation point to see planes taking off and landing. It could use and should have a bigger park for 5 star

Nice little park with a large lake in the centre and a good view of the planes taking off at the nearby airport. Tend to get enthusiasts trampling the bushes to get a better view, however, which is a shame.
