Great
walk
around
the
reservoir.
The
paths
are
decent,
though
a
little
muddy
in
places,
I
wear
trainers
when
walking
round
and
never
get
wet/
muddy
feet.
Have
also
ran
round
on
a
night
using
a
headtorch.
It's
about
1.3
miles
around
both
bodies
of
water,
though
you
could
make
it
shorter
by
walking
around
just
one
bit
of
water.
There's
a
carpark
at
one
end
of
the
reservoir,
but
we
usually
park
up
Chellow
lane
where
there's
plenty
of
on
street
parking.
From
Chellow
Dene
there's
also
plenty
of
walks
around
including
woodland
around
the
water,
an
old
quarry,
the
golf
course
and
a
trig
point
up
Allerton
Road...
All
walkable
from
the
reservoir
and
which
I
have
done!
There
are
benches
located
around
the
water
for
anyone
needing
a
rest
or
wanting
to
look
at
the
water/
ducks!
It
is
mainly
flat
with
just
a
a
slope/
lot
of
steps
to
get
from
from
one
body
of
water
to
the
other.
There's
also
steps/
slopes
to
get
to
the
woodland
(which
is
typical
woodland
paths...
Narrower
and
muddier!).
Additionally
there's
also
some
decent
stepping
stones
where
you
can
cross
from
one
side
of
the
water
to
the
other
which
are
always
worth
a
walk
across...
Though
you
can
carry
on
a
bit
further
where
the
path
loops
round
of
you
don't
want
to!
