Chellow Dean Reservoir

Tourist attraction

😐 Visited on two consecutive sunny days. Free on street parking at one entrance and a proper but small car park off Howarth Road. Walking path around the two reservoirs including a woodland walk. Nice for a short stroll but place busy with noisy and disruptive gangs of boys. Doesn't make you feel safe... People often mention walk,

Visited on two consecutive sunny days. Free on street parking at one entrance and a proper but small car park off Howarth Road. Walking path around the two reservoirs including a woodland walk. Nice for a short stroll but place busy with noisy and disruptive gangs of boys. Doesn't make you feel safe. Saw people swimming in the top reservoir.

We live locally, love the peaceful & fresh atmosphere everytime we are out there. Good place for long walk & trekking. Weather was perfect and we even met some amazing people out there. If you love nature, please do visit this place. Our favorite spot for weekend walks.

Nice small walk round reservoir. Definitely not the nicest, Ogden is far better for its views. Would still return

This place is a lovely little walk you can make it as hard or as easy as you like the footpaths are good it has a nice little car park but unfortunately, it doesn't have any toilets. I would definitely recommend it to anyone that would like a nice little walk 😊

Love this reservoir for walking around. It's about 1.5 miles to walk around both parts of the water. There's decent stepping stones which are fun to walk across. There's also a trail around the wooded section high above the water and also links to public footpaths through the golf course and the disused quarry nearby.
