Visited today and orders beans on toast and pancakes with Nutella and bananas. Beans were cheap and tasteless, pancakes were the Aldi, microwave ones. For the price I’d expect better quality and homemade pancakes. Spoke to the waitress who was lovely however the owner wouldn’t speak to us and let the poor girl serving deal with my frustration. Especially when she said they can only offer 10% off and we only ended up with about 30p off as it wasn’t worked out correctly. I’d avoid especially of ordering English food as they seem to put little effort into that.

Family breakfast. Everything was lovely. Even though it was breakfast we wanted to try the Polish dumplings. These were our favourite item of the morning. After breakfast, we visited their bakery next door. I was impressed with the selection which included sourdough loaves, polish loaves, pastries etc. We bought a few things and enjoyed them all.

We had been going to this cafe every couple of weeks for around 6 months. Firstly the breakfast it self is fantastic the ingredients are quality and the taste is really good. Eggs cooked well, quality bacon, black pudding and sausage. The toast is a little dry but for the breakfast itself I would give it a 9.5/10. We went as usual excited to get the large breakfast which included a tea (which was normally around the £10 mark odd) and we get there and it has gone up around £3. Now I am willing to pay as it was a really nice breakfast but others on the table aren’t and already put off by large increase. I know things have gone up but I don’t get how you can do such a sudden increase of 30% on it. Anyhow like I said I wouldn’t be put off as it is a nice breakfast, we decided to get the small b fast to save money. We came to order, one of us doesn’t like sausages on the table, as normal we ask if we can swap this but the waitress says no. Now I am bit taken back so we say oh, well we won’t swap it for a bit of bacon just a hash brown thinking we’ll that be more acceptable even though really swapping a sausage for a bit of bacon in my opinion is perfectly fair. ( I can understand not swapping a hash brown or something like that for bacon or sausage)The answer was no, we can’t swap items you would have to buy them extra! We proceeded without buying extra items and we just ended up swapping items between us to accommodate ourselves. What a shame is all I can say I think I personally could cope with the price rises even though a large amount suddenly but not to be an able to swap like for like too. I would go back but I can’t really take anyone else I know back to the place as sure they swap and item.Tried to give a fair star rating as like I said twice above it is a nice breakfast.

A lovely family run baking and cafe, with a rustic and cozy ascetic. The BLT made with their own bread is not to be missed. Great breakfast all round

Nice food, I've knocked a star off for lengthy waiting time, and they put bbq sauce on, when I asked for garlic mayo. Other than that.... I'd come again 👍

Collected lucky bag from here and it had a hair on the loaf of bread and paid £4 for it and good in the bag valued at less. I have got lucky bags from Morrisons for £5 and had double value goods in it same with Greggs , you need to change your ways or bin the lucky bag

Unbelievable pastries, breads and savoury bakes. Delicious cheeses, Italian meats and so much more delectable treats always served with a smile. Check the Facebook page if you are visiting from afar ..as sometimes the divine bakes sell out quickly.

Gorgeous all round 🤗👌 Great coffee sat at little table outside in the sun 😁 Proper bread (Huddersfield no longer has an Eastern European bakery ☹️) and pastry delights galore! A new regular for us even though it's a 50 miles round trip 😖 Please open a shop in Holmfirth area 🙏 Thank you and I wish you continued success 🙌

My husband and I went for brunch and did not have a great experience. Waiter was pretty clueless. We both ordered scrambled eggs with sourdough bread. One order was brought out with whole meal bread. As we were pretty hungry we didn’t complain and ate the food. We also ordered a fruit scone and asked for this with jam and clotted cream (we asked if this was an option as it wasn’t on the menu and the waiter confirmed it was). The fruit scone arrived with butter but no jam and cream. We asked for jam and cream and the waiter mentioned my it would be an additional charge which we said was fine. I asked if it was clotted cream and he said ‘Yh something like that’. Instead he brought out cream cheese and a bowl of fruit and asked if we wanted tea (the collective scone, tea and fruit was a menu option to which we had previously said we didn’t want but we were still charged for this). The scone was extremely dry and stale. When it came to pay, the waiter asked how the food was and I mentioned the scone was extremely dry. I was then ignored, payment was taken and he left the table. Overall terrible service and food is not worth the hype. The sourdough bread was the only have decent thing.

Portions are small to say the least had a small breakfast which consisted of single sausage, egg and 3 slices (not whole) tomatoes.

An unexpected pleasure. Friendly and comfortable cafe with a great menu that mixes standard "english" breakfasts with a range of really excellent and interesting Polish fare. Recommended!

My brother and I tried their breakfast challenge. Pretty much 6 of every item and complete it in 20 minutes to get it free. I failed. My brother succeeded and is now the champion on the leaderboard. The only downside is that the food was amazing, so eating it against the clock meant I wasn't able to take the time to enjoy it as much as I'd liked 🤣🤣 Definitely recommend this place.

Cosy and great looking cakes & scones, I need to try the Polish ones. The scones were dry I'm afraid, and the coffee was just warm. But the waitress tries her best in a busy setting. Interesting menu and very tasty snacks.
