This place is so cosy! Friendly staff!! The food is really fresh and it was the best Veggie B-Breakfast I’ve ever had!! And as a big fan of coffee the cappuccino with oat milk was amazing! - I really recommend and I’m definitely coming back! ❤️🫰🏾

10 out of 10 for the latte..... Will have to visit again and try the breakfast..... finally got round to having a breakfast (the meat lovers special) and it was absolutely gorgeous..... perfect after a Saturday night out. Thanks Tom and the excellent team at the bothy 👍

Called in just before closing time - we were the only customers. Still got a friendly welcome. Good coffee, excellent cakes - special mention for the tea bread which was smashing. Would have been perfect with a bit of Wensleydale... Will definitely be back!

Fantastic little cafe in the heart of Shipley! Been for breakfast and coffee multiple times and have never been disappointed! Fresh produce, delicious coffee (thumbs up for caffeine free option!) and lovely staff. Brownies are to die for too 🥰 100% recommended!

The best coffee in Bradford by far. We had scrambled eggs on toast and poached egg and avocado on Granary toast. Again the best breakfast around. You won't be disappointed. The staff are lovely the shop is clean and tidy and a great atmosphere. :)

First visit. Lovely relaxing place. Nice coffee. They make food to order and it is well worth the wait. Delicious tuna and cheese toasty in granary bread with side salad and coleslaw. Also cater for Vegans so my son was well happy. Always went to Costa as didn't know of this place. No more Costa. Will come here from now on.

Fabulous coffee…tasty Bacon, Brie & onion chutney panini. Coleslaw and the most fresh salad, along with the usual friendly and professional service; made my visit really good! Apologies for breaking your salt & pepper pot 😬😊🎄

It was absolutely freezing. I went in to get a hot drink, sandwich and get warm from 5 degree weather outside and it was as cold inside, I couldn't take my coat off. The food and drink was delicious though and friendly staff.

It's a nice enough cafe. The food was good, although the onion relish was missing from my meal and my partners meal had too much onion. The milkshake was made with real ice cream and fruit.

I came here for their all day breakfast with my mum and brother. Would highly recommend it. The food is delicious and the staff and really friendly.

A small but nicely appointed cafe, not the cheapest place but is anywhere cheap these days? They use good quality ingredients and the food is tasty. It's worth a visit if you are in the area.

I can't believe i have only just found The Brothy. Food was simply magnificent, coffee the best anywhere near and the desserts are heavenly. Yet to try the creme egg brownie ball but took that home as stuffed! We have been growing increasingly disappointed in recent years in the cafes around Shipley, Saltaire and further field, and ended up more recently traveling many miles for a decent place. Not anymore! We will most certainly be back soon. Thank you.

Not familiar with the area, I picked the Bothy for it's high rating...I wasn't disappointed. Food excellent & cooked fresh to order. Busy with locals so the Bothy is a popular choice.

Lovely panini, delicious brownies and superb coffee. All staff were welcoming and very helpful. Seemed to be a popular place, which is always a good sign. Will 100% visit again if in the area.

Excellent food, the best cooked breakfast in Shipley. The wait can be long during busy periods but this is for a good reason, ALWAYS worth the wait. Can highly recommend :)

Found this little Gem by accident. Went for Breakfast and have to say it's probably the best breakfast that my husband and I have had. The quality of the food was exceptional along with the presentation. The staff were very friendly. And the cafe was spotlessly clean. Roll on, on our next visit.

Lovely family run business ! Great quality ingredients, smiley and friendly ! If I lived more local I’d definitely be here more often. The coffee was tasty and the breakfast was a good size ! You will not leave this coffee shop feeling empty that’s for sure! Also if you’re lucky there is parking outside!! Thank you ☺️

All I can say is WOW! We popped in while doing some shopping and didn’t know what to expect. We ordered the Bothy breakfast and a couple of hot drinks. We knew as soon as the menu said they used Binns of Saltaire produce that it was going to be good and the food was just amazing. Cooked right in front of you, fresh to order, gorgeous produce, generous portions and so reasonably priced at £8! I ordered the chai latte and it was honestly the best I’ve ever had, so flavoursome! The staff were so friendly and welcoming and the dining area is nicely decorated, with a little shelf of books to borrow, cute bothy-style decor, and spotless - no sticky ketchup bottles here! So impressed! Will be back again (and again and again!)

Hands down the best place in shipley for food and drink. So much great food made from scratch, great vegan options too.

The cake was nice...but...we waited for ever for coffee and cake and the service was chaotic. No order in how they served people and who had been waiting longest. This place could be lovely but the service was totally unacceptable and we wont be visiting again.

Love this place delicious food and lovely friendly staff. They also cater for specialist dietary requirements too. It's great that Shipley has finally got an centrally located delightful coffee shop that's a pleasure to visit. Long may it continue.

Our fav place to have brunch around the area. Delicious and fresh food at reasonable prices. We come at least once a week and I am coming back tomorrow for their silky scramble egg

Having been the first person in the cafe, I was asked to sit down while he would come and take my order. Having sat very patiently for over 10 minutes then the man working there decided to serve 3 people before myself then had a conversation with his college for 5 minutes regarding mushrooms? Pathetic customer service!! I Just Walked out disgusted I will never visit this cafe again, As Sir Alan Sugar would say. YOUR FIRED!

A great coffee at a very decent price. Just what Shipley has been waiting for. The cappucino was lovely, milk frothed well and it came with a small brownie bite - so tasty. The staff were lovely and whole experience delightful.

Amazing, fresh food. I ordered a panini with salad and it was the best panini I have ever had. Paninis can be greasy on the bottom, but this one was not at all and was lovely and light. It came with a lovely crisp salad that also included freshly made potato salad. My partner had a breakfast, which he said was also amazing. The coffees were great, too. It was all presented so well and made with such care. It was the best made food we've had for ages.
