😐 Superb long distance views, quiet and pleasant, surrounded by moorland. The service block had washers and dryers, and while the toilets and showers weren't particularly dirty, they weren't obviously serviced during the two weeks of our stay. There is a small, handy cafe adjacent to the site serving... People often mention site, stay,

Giving one star only because cafe is nice. My issue with this place is that it’s filthy. No one is cleaning the toilet (which is old and tired). The same applies to shower where people are bathing their dogs. Owner is rude, they welcomed us saying that we have to behave quiet and gave as a long look (family with 8 years old child) when we said we are quiet. Residents are not friendly and they always had problems with something- my child accidentally scared peacock playing football and he was told off, I was told by man to tell him to stay away from peacocks. You can’t because these birds are everywhere and walking in to your pod. We left a day early than we paid for as it was horrible. Pods are very close to each other and next door people were drinking, shouting and having a parties, their dog was coming to our pod too. There are better places to stay especially with children. EDIT. As you have replied to my comment- I did not post the picures of your toilet and dirty shower with mop in black stinky water only because I did not want to cause more upset. Sorry but no, we did not enjoy staying. And if you read most of the comemnts- these are greatly from people who didn't even stay or older generation who stayed in caravans with bathrooms and didn't have to use the block. I also seen similal comments to my not just on google, so there. No offence, but your toilers/shower block is disgrace. Best wishes.

Excellant campsite with peacocks, ducks, chickens walking around freely. Great walks in the Baildon moors 5mins walk. Excellant value for money

Lovely cafe on the entrance to the camp site. Stopped for coffee and cake. Fantastic views and nice food. Staff were very friendly, especially the guy with the young baby who told us about the area and that the cake is all home made. Well worth a trip up the hill.

We arrived and rang the phone number multiple times and rang the doorbell several times to no avail, no answer. We eventually decided to enter the campsite to take a look around to see if we could find anybody who could check us in. Finally, we found someone who could help us contact the owners of the campsite. We then managed to meet the owner who had forgotten about our reservation. However, they were ok with us camping there. The facilities were very good with warm showers and clean toilets and a laundry room. The rest of our stay was pleasant.

Very beautiful place, really worth going there. I would recommend getting a caravan or camper though, the peacocks and ducks and chickens are loud at sunrise, so if you are in a tent don't hope to sleep long. Great place though, the area there and around it, like going exploring the hills. +Rep

Delicious food in a lovely setting. Fabulous full English breakfast, bacon butty and sausage butty. It will be great to go back when restrictions lift so we can have more than a take away. We asked for the bacon to be crispy and they made sure it was. Thank you :)

Went to visit the site and get an idea of the grounds and set up as I was planning a night over. I arrived at the gate and approached a chap who was by his car. And asked if anyone was around that I could speak to re camping.. he abruptly said no tents aloud. I explained I was interested in the huts, but he obviously wasn't interested in renting to me. He said I would have to go on facebook to get details. Lol . Anyway, that was my experience. Pretty rude and un welcomeing Won't be staying then

Really lovely campsite and great price too, for normal and electric hook up. You won't find a better one. Amazing views too as up on the hills/dales. Owners are really nice too. Asked a ton of questions over 3 days via text and always got straight back to me.

Beautiful views of the Yorkshire Moors, and a lovely secluded spot. My only criticisms are 1:) the long and unsurfaced entry road which is horrendous to drive over, And 2:) the peacocks and geese which roam free around the site making an unholy racket 🀣 Small prices to pay though for the seclusion and scenery.

Lovely place, very quiet ,stayed in a pod clean and comfy. pod situated on the residential part would of preferred if there was pods on the touring camper van part as felt had to be extra quiet to respect residents would definitely return c
