Great night with the Memphis cruisers nice clean friendly club

Friendly staff and locals, with an older age profile. I went here for an annual do but we get the same warm welcome every year. The beer's good, the landlady is lovely, the place is clean and spacious. Very traditional, but very nice people and place. People go to this type of place usually for the landlady/lord, and the people; all of whom are great. A thumbs-up from me for this place.

It's now called The avondale club ....decent basic local venue on tjelines of a working mensclub...

Attractive and comfortable venue with a big car park, friendly people, sensible bar prices and live bands. What's not to like?

This is NOT the 'mens society'. This is a multi faith, family location for cracking beer and a game of snooker if you wish. Please change the misleading name.

Members only but very friendly. Weekly events include quiz music and raffles. Had 2 full size snooker tables

First time there, went to see band. Staff are so lovely and welcoming, drinks are a good price, the place is really clean a nice big room well set out and spacious. Really friendly atmosphere. Will definitely be going again.
