Very disappointed as usually happy with products but not today with goats cheese sarnie. 2 Very thickly sliced unbuttered slices of bread with sparcely filled filling for £7.50!

I purchased today several items to taste. The flavours were good but the sugar content was way too much in everything .I gave them 5 stars for flavour but I would give 0 for sugar content . You don’t need that much sugar in cakes . If reduced by 30-35% this place would be really good and if the prices were 25% lower. I would only purchase again if they massively reduced sugar contents.

So we have some clown giving less than 5. As they self diagnosed gluten intolerant but contradict themselves by saying they can only eat sour dough(it still contains gluten) ... the bakery can't help your pick and mix problem🤣......Haven't actually been here but will now and to offset the joker review 5 stars

Coffee - disappointing - £2.60 for a small cup of luke warm filter coffee. However the Samosa's are a work of art - excellent veg Samosas at £3 they are a self contained meal.

Edward street bakery is superb!! The food is delicious and the range of baked goods is fab. The samosa slab delicious, the tiffin was delicious and the salted caramel baked doughnuts equally delicious 👍

Superb croissant and pain au Chocolat from here, easily the best we have eaten outside France.

I had the samosa sandwich. Seriously, you're missing out if you don't try it. Wish I could go here every day for lunch because, man, that sandwich was top. So many flavours packed in. You must go here.

Fries were lovely and I'm sure the sandwich would've been too but I couldn't eat it. I double checked that the bread used for sandwiches was sourdough, I'm gluten intolerant and can only digest sourdough. When I received the sandwich I didn't check until I'd gotten to the river to eat it and it looked and felt just like regular white sandwich bread not sourdough. The woman that was running the shop did seem super busy so I'm sure it was a mistake but it was a bit disappointing as I couldn't eat it in case it made me ill

Absolutely stunning hash brown sandwich! The picture looks underwhelming but THE BREAD was sensational, the hash brown were crispy and the sauce/taco dusting was inspired! My pain au chocolate was also great but the star of the show was the hash brown butty. We were devastated they were shut on Monday (but legends need a rest day).

Very friendly staff. The brownies are the best I’ve ever had. Would also recommend the wild mushroom arancini balls !

Wonderful bakery and a great place to grab some lunch to take out. You’ll never get bored of the menu. Staff are friendly and I’ve even used them for meeting catering at work! Really accommodating!

Very disappointed about the decline in quality, the maccy d's has always been a favourite. But gone is the nice fresh muffin, replaced by what seemed to be a stale store bought teacake, the delicious runny perfectly formed egg replaced by a haphazardly fried mess. The perfect cheese and sauce replaced with a slice of disgusting American cheese and a drop of HP (not even close to an exaggeration) this sadly is the third time in a row I've been dissatisfied, how they can charge so much for something that should cost about £3 is astounding! Edited to a 3 because I ate the samosa and it was lovely.

Disappointed with my sandwich today. They have alway been expensive but worth it. Unfortunately now they halved the size and increased the price. I like to support local businesses but now I just think I’m getting ripped off.

Decided to try Edward Street Bakery today and ordered and Cheese & Ham Sandwich, what a massive disappointment! The Ham was old and grey along with Kerrymaid like cheese and all this for £5.50 over priced for what you got… ! I have always gone to Binns of Saltaire thought I would have a change wish I had not bothered.

Super friendly staff and really yum food. The sandwiches were so interesting. My goat’s cheese etc was delicious! My family loved their bacon and ploughman’s too. The fresh bread was amazing. Would totally recommend!

Great sandwiches with weekly specials made with fresh breads. Amazing selection of homemade sweet treats. Really friendly staff to help you decide.

Pretty expensive to be honest, although sandwiches are good it doesn't justify the high prices.

First time trying this place. Beautifully presented shop, very friendly staff, and really tasty food. I bought the samosa pies and the clementine morning buns. If I worked and lived nearby I would be going in every morning for a clementine morning bun. You must try one.

😠 The cafe looks lovely and quaint. Well, looks are deceiving and what befell me next is what I’d call the great baked potato tragedy. Two tiny spuds (McCain’s microwave ones are bigger), total cost. £8 with tuna and coleslaw - the spuds were burned to a crisp. I know the lady knew this as she split t...
