£1 to visit and free for under threes, this was a great place to visit. Lots of tropical plants, fish, terrapins and butterflies made for a fun half hour. Not a massive place so you could easily get round it in ten minutes, but for the price you can't really complain.

Really lovely place if you are passionate about plants. Really lovely place even if you aren’t! Enjoyed seeing a lot of houseplants I have, growing abundantly here in the most beautiful ways. Very accessible and easy stroll around inside the greenhouses. £1 entrance is a steal. Good experience for people of all ages, many textures to see and feel, plus butterflies, fish and terrapins too!! As a big foliage lover I was in heaven here, really beautiful green plants! I adored the ferns and the banana tree was fruiting up a storm!!

Suitable for babies, toddlers and younger children. £1 entry for the jungle experience with full of tropical plants, butterflies and turtles etc...Free parking. The 19 acre Park has designated play area for young ones. Plenty of well kept flowers to explore throughout the park. Calm and peaceful place to be.

PLEASE BE AWARE ITS CASH ONLY £1, per person under 3s are free. It doesn't take long to walk around good value for £1. There are exotic flowers, a few fish ponds, terrapin ponds, butterflies , educational boards, and some dodgy looking dinosaurs. I wouldn't visit just for this attraction but it adds to a great day out by visiting the playground and splash park

What a gem of a place on the edge of Savile Park. I've lived in Halifax my whole life and regrettably never visited. Only £1 per person. Unfortunately all the butterflies had expired, but there were many turtles and interesting plant life to see. Well worth a visit and the kids loved it.

Drove over 1 hour and half to find out its closed with no times or dates advertised anywhere on the premises. Advertised as open online all year round so needs updating. Shame as not sure when we would get chance to visit again in the foreseeable future. Nice park and gardens thought

We have been here twice now, don't get me wrong, it's not on tropical world (Leeds) level. But what it is, is fun, educational and local. There are plants with descriptions telling you a little about them and what decade they're from. Butterfly's flying about. Little ponds and a tortoise area, a few of them love to chill on the little bridge:)

Highly recommend to visit. Ticket only £1 per person by cash. Any cards are not accepted. No toilets. It’s very tropical and green inside. Turtles 🐢 and butterflies 🦋, fish 🐟. It’s almost same as tropical world in Leeds. I loved it and my family too. I would definitely come again. Car 🚙 parking is free.

Very interesting place to visit as an adult or a child. Really cool plants and flowers. Lots of painted quails running around, red eared terrapins and if you come at the right time of the year many butterflies too! ( Plus dinosaurs). Cheap entry price. Would definitely recommend going.

Absolutely beautiful traditional garden area. Everything well cared for. A joy to behold in May. I’ll visit again in June/ July as the roses should be in bloom then. The inside tropical bit was really interesting and the staff were so nice and friendly and knowledgeable.

Manor Heath park is a quiet enjoyable space with its kids park, flower garden and picnic place. The Jungle walks around the park is amazing for natural walkers inside Halifax with bird sounds all around. Enjoy the soothing bird sounds specially on rainy days.

For a £1 entry fee it's perfect for an hours escape from the city, could do with a few more butterflies but the terrapin make up for it.

AMAZING garden! It's full of life, butterflies flying everywhere, turtles chilling by the pond, small frogs leaping around, and the exotic plants which are beautiful to see.. HIGHLY Recommended!

Really cheap at just £1, small and easy to get round but plenty to see. Just enough to be enjoyable. Also a small cafe located just outside with nice food and coffee 😀 would definitely recommend

The jungle experience is ok but if your looking for butterflies, good luck. I saw one! I've seen more in my garden. However it's only £1 to get in. If your heating fails over winter, go here to keep warm.

What an absolute gem! £1 entry per adult, free for under 2s. It’s like a better version of Leeds Tropical World! Never been before but saw that it’s been reopened so we took our toddler. He absolutely loved looking at all the different types of plants, feeling everything, seeing the butterflies, fish and turtles. Such a great place to visit.

Been visiting this park regularly with my dogs for nearly 30 years and for a time bringing my young child to see the captivating jungle experience butterfly house and pond. Always beautiful. Always tidy. No litter. Friendly people to chat to ..a bonus when you're getting on...51 now and single and lonely as my ailments mean I'm housebounfd a lot of the time. I live on a rough estate yet In just NINE minutes in the car..im in a different world at manor heath. Plus LOVELY CAFE WITH WONDERFUL STAFF. THANK YOU AMY X Only criticism s..cafe not open LONG enough hours (economics) and only today discovered the FANTASTIC WALLED GARDEN. what a gem...no signposts. Also free parking.

It's a short walk around but we'll worth it lots to see and talk about . The butterflies were hard to spot but they are there.

I love this place, I have many happy memories of running into here when I was younger to escape the rain. I have visited many times. Don't expect the most beautifully presented tropical house, it's a quid to get in and to me it's perfect, my most recent visit I got to see the tiniest baby quail and it was adorable, it kinda looked like those chicks you get for easter decorating. The park itself is a great spot for a picnic and if you don't mind getting wet I recommend the walled garden in the rain as it smells incredible.

For less than half the price of a coffee, this was a nice distraction from the weather. Butterflies were lovely.

Quiet walk through lush tropical flora. Just one large blue butterfly flying around. Return visit in Spring much anticipated.
