I never write reviews unless the place I've visited is amazing or bad. Sadly this is the later. First of all I paid £65 for one night. I got to the hotel and was told the room key card does not work which I thought fine I can deal with that. But that meant my door could not be locked from the inside. Secondly the bed sheet had dried blood stains and the area that holds the mattress had a white stain which is disgusting! As I had work to do I saw this late at night and had to sleep on one side of the bed. I told the receptionist in the morning before I left and she told me I was lying. If this is what you call customer service you should he ashamed! As I tried to give you feedback on things that were unacceptable. I was told to email the manager but nothing would happen as I complained in the morning so instead I thought write a review. If anyone is reading this please stay elsewhere its an untidy, old and uncomfortable place to stay! Ohand not to mention the bath was rusty!

Surprisingly very good experience. My booking on their site had failed to go through, so arriving to discover this was a significant SHOCK but they had a room & gave me it. Taking a room, that was already available, without any prior booking (or rushing) but arriving 90mins before the official 3pm checkin time cost me an additional £10. I happily accept this on a pre booking, where staff will especially ensure a room is clean but arriving when all the rooms have been made up & the room staff are packing up to leave, is a bit rich when the room charge is only about £38 for the entire NIGHT. … Mr Wyndham, that’s too tight! Get your website booking system working. I had confirmation on screen… but didn’t receive an email & thus no booking existed!! After this catastrophe to discover no air-con, when it was 30degrees outside was not entirely a surprise. The supplied fan did work, that coupled with multiple showers made it ok. Standard double sized bed is a bit small by modern standards & only one big towel a bit tight too. I asked for the booking to be changed to two adults on the booking form at the hotel reception but was told the system always defaults to one & can’t be changed… saving on towels too?? Aside from this it was a nice stay. PS: i’ve stayed in these hotels in the USA & am on their loyalty scheme, i like the chain (might not be obvious reading this!)

Wouldn't even give it a star . Honestly the worst hotel I have ever stayed in!. The bathroom is moldy and filthy everywhere got mold and rust round the taps. Toilets minging. The mattress don't even fit the frames. The Internet is shocking can't even connect it to your telly? The telly they give you is so small can't even see the screen. The carpets are absolutely disgusting as well. Stains everywhere they say they deep clean the rooms that is rubbish. I wouldn't ever recommend staying in this hotel to anyone. The beds dip in the middle. The rooms smell. No shower gel or no toilet rolls in my room when I arrived.. towels was dirty. And also the bedding was disgusting had stains all over it. And worse thing of all is they have bed bugs I've bit bitten everywhere. So wouldn't even waste ya money staying here staff are quite rude as well 🤣

Not bad for a lodge on a motorway service area. Room worn but generally clean. Friendly staff - nice change to find staff with a smile 😀.

Superb no frills budget hotel. Clean rooms, comfy beds and great customer service. Breakfast is limited but as its located within the motorway services there are other options eg Starbucks, etc

Quiet location. Free parking if staying at hotel. Ample free tea and coffee making facilities. So many fast food eateries just outside the main entrance.

Don’t even know where to start, didn’t even bring the bags in. Checked in and went to have a look of the room and the hotel is like something out of a horror show, the whole floor I was on stunk of cannabis, the bed had stains on there was scratches above the headboard on the wall and stains on the floor and a mouldy smell, could tell they don’t clean it properly and if that’s the case I wonder what on earth goes on in there because something didn’t feel right. I then left and gave the key back and decided to go find somewhere else, they won’t give me a refund as they had other rooms to offer me but if I don’t feel safe and comfortable in a place I’m sleeping I’m not staying there simple as that.

Great service from reception. Clean room. Good value for money. Loses a star as there is only one plug socket far away from bed and the wash basin sink was not draining properly. Black put blinds are amazing here. Bonus is free parking and free WiFi.

Good budget hotel with friendly service. The rooms were looking a bit tired but they are spacious compared to other places. We had a small breakfast box included in the price but there is the usual service station area you can eat at and a standalone Starbucks in the car park. You register for free parking at reception (put in you're staying for 2 days as it times out at midnight). Comfy mattresses on the beds. The windows do face towards the motorway so you will hear low background traffic noise with them open (it didn't disturb us as it's a low background sound).

OK I've given 5 stars, yes it's because it's a motorway hotel. It served all of its purposes for us, offering a convenient stop without getting off the motorway on our return from Manchester Airport to North Yorkshire on a very late flight. Communication was excellent, the room was basic, but clean, quiet and offered everything we needed for our stay. Service was polite and efficient and we were able to check in at 4am in the morning.

Would give -10 if it was possible. Really dirty grubby place. Mould rather windows. The bathroom looked like it's not been washed in months. Cobwebs ever where. Carpet not vacuumed.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The rooms are dirty, they smell of mould. Changed rooms, new room slightly better; however, still filthy. The bathroom is disgusting. House keeping is non existing!

Very dated and cheap feeling , did okay for what we needed. Okay for a pitstop, definitely get what you pay for.

The reception staff were very nice and pleasant but the room wasn't very clean and the bathroom was very dirty with toothpaste on the tap from the previous guests and the shower head was covered in pink and black mold. There was mold around the bath taps and tiles.

You get what you pay for. In desperate need of renovation. Everything was outdated and room smelled. Just old, years and years of people imbedded in the carpet. Was fine for a night but definitely wouldn’t stay longer. Staff were lovely though

All staff are amazing. The hotel is clean and easy to get to. The rooms are basic but clean. For the price you cannot go wrong. This hotel is dog friendly and all the staff make a fuss they even have doggy treats ready and waiting

Very pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Clean, tidy, quiet and more importantly, cheap. Reception were very pleasant and professional too.

Dull and boring hotel with a lunchbox continental breakfast, but it'll do in a pinch. The staff are lovely though, and the WiFi's free at least.

this place is 1st class for convenience and quietness You do have to watch the approach route however. There is only approach from the east bound carriageway. If coming FROM the east then you have to go 3miles westwards m62 to the exit for Brighouse and then double back on the east bound back to the services. its no fault of Days inn. Thats the layout

Dirty and disgusting bathroom. Shower head pic attached. Health hazard. Toilet not clean with splatters and rubbish under the bed from previous guests. I felt grubby just being there. Bed springs, well they are shot

I refused to stay here, first room had a terrible smell and carpet covered in grey hairs ?? Was given a second room with no apology, I literally stayed in that room 5 minutes , grabbed my bags and walked out, strong smell of damp, really didnt want to try a 3rd room..disgusting place. Just read trip advisor reviews, seems other travellers have experienced worse than I did.

I only stayed for one night, but I was really impressed with all aspects of my stay. My room was spotlessly clean, as was the bathroom. All fixtures and fittings worked as they should. The staff were very friendly and helpful too. My only (very minor) issue was the background noise from traffic. There is no air conditioning, so I had the windows open as far as they would go, but had to close them to solve the slight traffic noise issue. However, the room is supplied with a good quality fan, which in operation was very quiet and did not disturb my sleep. I am confident in recommending this hotel.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Stayed 3 nights. Couldn't hear motorway even with windows open. Ideal for our needs.

Rooms are very dated. Not enough plug sockets (none near bed). TV too small for rooms. Got moved rooms due to uncleanliness (unchanged sheets, unflushed human waste in toilet, black mould in bathroom, dirty stained bath, and pubes in bath/shower area). ROOMS SMELL OF SEWAGE. Rooms had been given the “landlord special” of just being painted white but actual features like door handles, locks, and curtains remained either painted directly over or very very dated. At over £70 a night, the hotel was very overpriced. Extremely friendly staff though.

For its star classification all was good and smooth. This is what my rating was given for. I enjoyed staying there, thanks.

This place is really a great find. I drive a lot and this place is located in a great place for me to take a break. I always manage to get a room for about £40-50. The people on reception are always friendly even if you arrive in the early hours of the morning. Rooms are nice, way better than the price, everything is always clean and there are coffee/tea making facilities in the room. I like that there is a bath not just a shower. The positives of this place may appear simple but packaged together for a reasonable price means I can take a break on the road.

If I could rate this nothing I would. Please don’t stay here although the price might seem inviting it’s honestly not worth it. So unclean - actually vile to be honest I have never stayed in a hotel so filthy, I’ve stayed in cheaper and still they have all been clean enough than this. It stunk of mould and once I’d woken up in the morning I saw a huge patch of it in my room. Blood stains all over the carpet and on the items in the room. Avoid at all costs if you have any standards.

Looks like a cosy little place. Well maintained lobby and helpful reception. Didn't stay here, so I won't know what the rooms are like.
