I have used Baildon Timber on several occasions, each time I have been served by the worst customer service person in the history of people - he is terrible, his attitude towards customers is that they are an inconvenience to him and he just wants to be awkward and makes the customer feel very small parading his knowledge of wood and trying to belittle you at every junction, it has been my most unsatisfying shopping experience ever - sadly there is no avoiding this man, as he is always the one that greets you at the gate during this lock-down period, I honestly thought it was a personal objection to me, but I have spoken to other people who have had the same uncomfortable experience with this man. having said that the other people at Baildon Timber seem very nice and helpful, but how do you get past this awful gatekeeper ‘literally’ to get to the helpful ones? This man needs some training, to be more customer focused - after all they are paying his wages at the end of the day.

After being majorly let down by one of the big nationals who rang me the day before delivery to say they no longer have what I ordered in stock (despite me ordering and paying for it over 4 weeks prior) I turned to Baildon Timber. They delivered to me the day after I ordered!! Really good quality timber, straight and true pieces. I should of used them in the first place. Thanks so much guys, you really saved my bacon!

I've used the company several times now for DIY projects where the timber wouldn't have fitted in my car. Easy to order exactly what I need on the website and was delivered the next morning. Brilliant service as usual :)

Used Baildon timber loads of time. Their staff are helpful the products are good and their delivery time is awesome. Rang at 10am to place order getting order this aft.... You can't ask for much more than that. Well done guys will defo recommend

Great service. Ordered lengths of 50x50 sawn timber on-line at 15:30, delivered next morning at around 10:00. One length was not up to standard, so sent them an email with photos and they emailed straight back to appologise and say they would replace it in the afternoon. It was replaced on site before 13:30.

Even during these very busy times for timber merchants, I ordered some deck joists on a Thursday and they were delivered the following Tuesday! Needed more joists and they were delivered the SAME DAY within two hours of ordering on their website! Top service from a local business! Many thanks.

Genuinely great service. I only needed 3 small bits of wood cutting to fix a gate and the man who served me was really helpful and polite. The bits of wood were off cuts so he just asked me to make a donation to the air ambulance collection tin in the office. Go and use this company!
