Great variety of local Guongdong food, including fried pidgeon! A little kitschy, inside a big warehouse-sized building, with open kitchens where you can watch the food being made. Don't expect a quiet romantic experience, since it is somewhat noisy and great for families with kids.

A good place to try traditional Zhongshan local food. Need to expect long wait on weekends.

Excellent restaurant for local food. Not much decoration and service. The choice of dishes is amazing. I like the local touch of service. Just need patience and courage. Of course, fluency of Cantonese is necessary to command the chaotic situation.😁😁

Amaizing restaurant. i had one one the best lunches i ever had here. The place is cheap to eat (kind of hard to believe for such a popular place with good good). Most of the cooking is open to see, at the middle of restaurant. They cook unique traditional chinese food, and tasts amaizing. Specially try their big fried ball.

One of the most famous restaurants in Zhong Shan City, it’s been around for more than 20 years. Maybe even longer than that. Reservations definitely required as evident from the hordes without reservations milling around the front desk looking for a table. We managed to get ourselves a room fortunately because we booked a week in advance. The dishes here are definitely Zhong Shan or Shi Qi (old name of Zhong Shan City before it was renamed in honour of Sun Yat Sen). Must order their deep fried pigeons, grass carp fishballs with the green clam sauce (The sauce is made from the secretions of clams!) The abalone and crunchy grass carp salad is also a specialty. Grass carps are fed with edamame beans to ensure their flesh is crunchy when cooked. Not very cheap but well worth the money spent!
